"You know, I think I will quite possibly miss sleeping in an actual bed before long," Raevanis remarks with a soft sigh, though not with too much bitterness behind the words. "I do appreciate the silk though. Soft," he adds as he runs his fingers over it.

Congratulations indeed! We have a tiny girlspawn who is at the moment eleven months and one week old. She is, of course, the awesomest beastie I have ever met despite the fussing and sleeplessness and exhaustion and more that are more often than not associated with being a parent to a very young human.

Also, babies and toddlers and so on are amusing, I kid you not.

"Disoriented," is Raven's reply to Affyria after thinking about it for a few moments. He seems as if he is about to elaborate on it, but then reconsiders, at least for now.

"The... juggernaut in this particular case is us," the elven vampire says softly. "As Daidalos has so eloquently put it, Cousin, we have not only not been stopped but we have triumphed. We have not fallen, but risen. In more ways than one. And we will continue to do so. This is not a boast. It is merely a statement of fact. And I am not being arrogant." He smiles thinly. "There is no reason for that when all one has to be is simply realistic."

"Well met again."

The voice belongs to the pale elf, now paler still but also looking quite a bit healthier as well despite his complexion. Dressed in elegant clothes of black and crimson, the former color matching his hair and the latter his eyes, Raevanis approaches his companions, the grace with which he moves seemingly even greater than before. There is a thin smile on his lips as he holds a glass of red wine in his hand, though it is obvious he has not partaken of a single sip.

"How does the evening find you?"

GM Snowheart:
"Either will do," the newly turned vampire answers with a shrug. "The first one is my given name, but I have grown... fond of the nickname as well. In truth, I never really minded much, as humans tended to find my elven name a little difficult to pronounce, and I am not about to start now." He smiles. "As for the girl, killing her would have been easy, yes. But I wanted to prove something to myself. That I am in control."

As he starts following the Baron's servants to the changing room, he pauses and turns to the half-elf. "This new state of being should not be an excuse for lack of manners, yes?" Another smile, close-lipped of course. "We thank you for your hospitality, Cousin."

It is only later, in the room provided by the Baron and while examining his sword -a weapon he has used, expertly if he might say so himself, for years upon years and the one he killed his own father with- and finding it strangely foreign, even unwieldy, that he realizes it. He said "we" instead of "I".

GM Snowheart:
As he regains consciousness... No, not consciousness. Life rather. Of a sort.

Raevanis feels not quite all there. But he has little time to make sense of that first sensation once the second one is felt all too keenly. Hunger. Thirst. One and the same. His stomach feels so empty and his mouth so dry. And something else. His canine teeth, somewhat longer and so much sharper than before. He wonders briefly how vampires do not cut the inside of their mouths all the time.

He smiles at his own jest, even chuckles softly. Ah, yes. Now his remembers. Bits and pieces of some things and wholes of others. A vampire. That is what he has become.

And then he sees her. A human girl. Or possibly woman? Always a little difficult to tell with the shorter-lived races. And his hunger and thirst rise like a wave at the sight of her. He instinctively knows what to do and how to go about doing it. And he must admit, he finds it... odd that the thought does not repulse him. He sighs and takes a deep breath, though he knows he no longer needs to. And the young woman's scent, her aroma, fills his nostrils. She smells... delectable. And the beating of her heart. So fast, so frantic. She is terrified.

"Shh," the pale elf says softly, comfortingly, even if he knows he can do little to ease her fear. He approaches her, neither too fast, nor too slowly. He chooses to do this, he tells himself. He is in control and not the other way around. He will satiate his hunger, yes, but he will not kill. Not this time at the very least. If for no other reason than to test himself.

"To endings and beginnings," he says simply as sharp teeth pierce soft flesh.

"Lately is... subjective," Raevanis replies in the same soft voice. "That saying about the eye of the beholder? It very much depends on whether the beholder is, say, a human or an elf," he continues before a bout of coughing accompanied by a few -or maybe more than just a few- flecks of blood. "Years, maybe a decade or two. I.. .am not sure," he finally answers before his attention turns to the captured captain and he speaks no more on the subject as the man rejects Affyria's and Daidalos' offer to convert most vehemently. The pale elf, paler now than before, simply sighs.

An hour later, Sakkarot and his horde arrive, but the screams that their arrival and subsequent killing of any survivors cause fall on ears no longer able to hear anything. For now.

Well, time for a three day long beauty nap, I guess...

With the battle over and its heat no longer keeping him warm, Raven finds himself shivering as he pulls his cloak tight around him, its hood and its shadows concealing his crimson eyes and the beads of sweat on his face. He feels himself grow weaker by the moment and he knows that his... condition has finally caught up with him. The exertions of these last few hours certainly helped, he quickly realizes. Nevertheless, he cling to life or what is left of it as he makes his way to Daidalos.

"Would you be so kind as to stall no longer? There will be time for gloating and celebration later," he almost hisses, his voice barely above a whisper. "My time however, or at least this particular time of mine, is almost at an end. Or a beginning..."

He can tell he does not make much sense. Even now he can feel his memories... change. Shift like mist. He grasps at some and they slip through his fingers, while others, not there before, feel clearer the closer he gets to... well, to that end and beginning he mentioned. It was he who mentioned it, was it not...?

With the antipaladins acting as a veritable wall, there is little Raevanis can contribute during this first phase of the battle. Thus the pale elf, sword in hand, keeps himself ready for when the fighting spills into the room he and the others are in.

Readying an action to attack the first enemy that enters if or when Timo and Morthos fall back and the soldiers pursue them up the stairs.

Raven sighs as he sheathes his own sword and picks up the enchanted one that belonged to Havelyn. He feels the weight of the blade, somewhat heavier than his elven-made one but nevertheless almost perfectly balanced. Oddly enough he feels less than excited at handling it. "Odd," he mutters to mostly himself. He has always prided himself as being a swordsman almost to the exclusion of all other weapons and here he is feeling... uninterested.

"No matter," he finally says softly as he prepares himself for the fast approaching fight, sword in hand but bow and arrows not far from reach.

"They have someone commanding them, organizing them. They have swordsmen and halberdiers, as well as crossbowmen behind some barricades."

Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32

Now I roll a 19...

"Bravado aside, we would do well not to underestimate superior numbers," the pale elf says as he catches his breath, Affyria's spell contributing greatly to his feeling like he is not about to die. At least not quite yet anyway. Picking up his sword once again, Raevanis nevertheless keeps his longbow at the ready as well.

"We should prepare ourselves as best we can. We may have some time now, but I am willing to wager this reprieve will not last long. So, what can we use?"

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Raven is at 25/34. All things considered, not that bad, though he would not say no to a bit of healing either.

"Certainly," Raven readily agrees as he makes his way into the magister's quarters and begins to thoroughly search through the now dead man's belongings. Thoroughly and carefully as one never knows what traps a deceased mage's things may have.

"Care to lend a hand, Daidalos? You are our resident expert in all things arcane after all," the pale elf addresses celestial-blooded wizard with a smile.

Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14

Despite his elven reflexes and agility Raevanis nevertheless catches the full force of the golem's icy blast. The cold chills him to the bone and the pale elf takes a moment to retrieve a healing potion from his backpack and drink its contents. Still, its effect feels diminished, perhaps due to the bite and his own weakened condition.

Reflex: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 1 + 1 = 10

Effects: bless (+1 morale on attack rolls and saves vs. fear), haste (extra attack when full attacking, +1 on attack rolls, +1 dodge on AC and Reflex, +30 ft. speed), prayer (+1 luck on attack rolls, damage rolls, saves and skill checks, foes take -1 penalty on same rolls)

Sigh... Yeah, drinking a potion of cure light wounds after that.

Potion of cure light wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Sigh sigh... Down to 10 hit points.

With both Morthos and Timo within striking distance of the ice golem, Raven remains in place, firing arrow after arrow at the construct, knowing full well that most of the damage does not get through but that every bit counts.

"Wonderful," Raven says drily as he hears the guard's cries for help. Even so though he remains focused on the battle at hands as he looses two arrows in quick succession against the ice construct, taking care at the same time not to accidentally hit those companions of his that have chosen to engage it in melee.

"With one of the guards having managed to flee, we should expect reinforcements and the keep going to high alert any time now," Raven says as he lets loose a pair of arrows courtesy of his magically enhanced speed, their target the last guardsman still in the room.

"And we still have that to deal with," he adds indicating the ice construct.

Crap. Sorry, guys. Should be able to post a little later. Currently home alone with a somewhat fussy eight-month old female mini-me.

Unwilling to engage the paladin on his own -he is not a fool, after all- Raven nevertheless steps forward to both provide cover for Daidalos so the mage can continue his spellcasting more or less protected and so he can throw the dagger that has just appeared in his grasp, courtesy of his spring loaded wrist sheath, at Havelyn.

Having found the mage surprisingly resilient so far, Raevanis strikes at him alongside Morthos, wanting to make sure the man is dead before he turns his attention to a paladin, two knights and a golem made of ice.

"Patience, Timo," the elf says, his voice a little raspy from his brush with death earlier in the fight. "I am sure he will oblige us sooner or later," he adds as he too adds his own sword to the attempt to end the mage's life.

Yeah, same here. As far as I can tell anyway.

Catching his breath after almost falling into a pit currently inhabited by an ice golem, Raevanis follows Timo's example and moves towards the southern door, seeing as how the magically conjured hole has essentially blocked off the more immediate entrance to the wizard's quarters.

Moving to where Timo is, probably ending up next to him more or less thanks to difficult terrain. Will open the door though if I have movement left (or is it already open? Not quite sure...).

Far as I can tell, you indeed avoid falling in. So far only Raven is in the pit at 1 hit point. It remains to be seen if the ice golem will be joining him or not.

Cool. So Raven is in the 20-ft. deep pit, at 1 hit point and has an ice golem to keep him company...? This amuses me. The player that is. The character, probably not. :-P

Affyria, do not forget the Reflex save for Daidalos' pit.

Also, how does this work? Does the pit happen first, possibly affecting Affyria's healing, or does her healing spell go off first? Also, I am assuming that Raven is also healed, at least if Affyria's spellcasting works as intended?

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

I checked that out. It requires the fall to be deliberate or due to a failed jump. I think suddenly having a hole open beneath one's feet does not quite qualify... :-P

"What did...," is all Raven has time to say as a 20-foot deep pit opens up almost beneath his feet. Despite his quick reflexes, he proves unable to keep his footing and falls in, an audible thud accompanying his unfinished sentence.

Reflex: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 2 = 12

Falling damage (20 ft.): 2d6 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5

Unless I am mistaken, Raven is at -4 hit points and dying, so basically 2 hit points away from death since he has a Con score of 6? The Constitution check to stabilize comes next turn, right?

Also, I think the dice hate me, or at the very least hate this guy...

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Feeling the cold bite deep and wounding him enough to feel unconsciousness or even death approach, the pale elf nevertheless does not fall back, finding it a wasted effort given their foes. Instead he advances on the golem and brings his sword down on it once and then once again.

Well, Raven is at 1 hit point. And since I am seeing drinking a potion as pretty much a wasted action given the damage an ice golem and a wizard can dish out, I may as well go down swingin'. :-P

Moving and attacking and using a Villain Point (heh...) for an extra standard action.

Melee attack (masterwork longsword): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Damage (slashing): 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Melee attack (masterwork longsword): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29 [Critical Threat]
Damage (slashing): 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Melee attack (masterwork longsword): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24 [Critical Hit Confirmation Roll]
Damage (slashing): 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

By the way, Morthos, unless I am mistaken, Hero Points have a maximum of 3 regardless of level after 3rd.

Following Morthos' example, Raven, sword at the ready, moves to the opposite side of the antipaladin and waits for the probably inevitable magical attack. Preferably one that misses him.

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

With one guard down, the pale elf spins around quickly and strikes at the remaining foe.

Melee attack (masterwork longsword): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
Damage (slashing): 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Or at least that is the idea. If both targets are down, then probably just staying his hand and instead looking out for reinforcements.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Almost at the same time as the mage, Raevanis acts to support him, the elf's longsword connecting solidly with the guard's midsection.

"So much for deception," he mutters softly as his eyes momentarily turn to look at what the others are doing before once again focusing on the bleeding man before him.

Melee attack (masterwork longsword): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26

"You could always try calling me by my actual name, Ordywyt," the pale elf says with a shrug, keeping his injured eyes shut.

Yap, me.

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Cool. Let's do that then since Raven can take a move action.

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Between the biting beaks and the flapping wings, the pale elf, already in somewhat poor health, finds it next to impossible to concentrate and attack the swarm of birds. The only thing he can do is try to protect his eyes.

Fortitude: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Raven is both blinded and nauseated. Please adjust accordingly.

Also, remind me if you please. Can one withdraw from a swarm?

P.S. I hate swarms...

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

"Feathered pests," Raevanis mutters softly as he swings his sword in an arc trying to strike as many of the birds as possible, a chuckle escaping his lips at the fact that the creatures attacking him are ravens.

Fortitude: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Melee attack (masterwork longsword): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

"How... dramatic a statement, Lady," the elf remarks somewhat drily as he lends his own sword arm to the others' in order to complete the foul deed sooner rather than later.

Melee attack (masterwork longsword): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
Damage (slashing): 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Sneak attack: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

"I think it would be best to not tarry too long here and deal with the rookery as soon as possible," Raevanis offers. "As you have said, there are too many quivers here. And our current luck is bound to give at some point. Best to take advantage of it as much as we can and be done with this Mad Martin and his birds."

"Besides," he adds looking at Affyria with a thin crooked smile, "we can always start that fire when we are ready to tip our hand. Or even on our way down if we think we can get away with it."

The elf's smile dims as he briefly considers his words. Words -and thoughts for that matter- that he would not have made years ago. Or perhaps even months ago, at least not so easily. He shakes his head to clear his mind; this is his lot now, so he may as well adapt.

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

"This all went quite well," Raevanis concurs as he joins the others. "I have to admit, I am pleasantly surprised." There is a soft chuckle coming from the pale elf before giving its place to a brief bout of coughing. "Even so, Affyria is right. When these murders are discovered, there will most certainly be an attempt to spread the word so to speak. Notify others, especially clerics of their order."

"We should deal with the birds and the magister tonight."

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Once again Raevanis tries to strike at the priest, once again he is thwarted by the man's protective spell.

Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

The elf says nothing as he tries to advance on the priest in an attempt to finish the man. However, perhaps due to the cleric's holy power, perhaps due to his own corrupted nature or perhaps because of a combination of both factor, Raven is repelled, unable to strike at his foe.

Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Moving to take his place on one side of the door, sword held firmly in both hands, Raven stands ready to attack the last of the clerics first chance he gets.

Standard charge (masterwork longsword): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
Damage (slashing): 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Sneak attack: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Following Mortos' example, Raevanis wastes no time and attacks the startled woman, wielding his longsword in both hands and striking at her with a straightforward enough slash, finding no need for exaggerated techniques.

Standard charge (masterwork longsword): 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 10 + 2 = 15
Damage (slashing): 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Sneak attack: 1d6 ⇒ 1

AC is at -2 for this round. That is, if I can actually charge at her. It does look like an awfully small room. :-)

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Brawlers do not, but Snakebite Striker Brawlers do. ;-)

Anyway, here are the other two sets of checks. Like before, if this is not our course of action, please ignore them. :-)

Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
Coup de Grace (unarmed strike w/ sneak attack): 2d6 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (4, 6) + 6 + (2) = 18 [DC 28]

Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Coup de Grace (unarmed strike w/ sneak attack): 2d6 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 1) + 6 + (4) = 13 [DC 23]

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

"You know, I do not believe I am in good enough health to wait until this debate is settled," Raevanis quips with a smile. "Killing the more powerful priest first would be the best course of action if we can do it in a single blow, and a silent one at that. Anything other than that and either her spellcasting or her screams are bound to wake the others up, no matter how heavy sleepers you humans are."

The elf moves towards the southern doors quietly, not drawing his longsword. "My... suggestion?" He turns to look at Asturu. "You seem like a good enough combination of stealth and strength," he says to the man, referring to his true form and not the illusionary disguise. "How about you take those two and I take these two? And the rest of you, my newly found friends, you wait by the awake priest's room. If we manage to do our deed in silence, we join you in dealing with her. If not..."

He pauses for a moment and then shrugs. "I am sure you know what to do without waiting up for us."

I am going ahead and rolling the two pairs of checks just in case we do go with this, leaving the other two for Asturu or whoever takes Raven up on his offer. Otherwise, just tell me and I will roll the other two pairs of checks as well. The idea is to crash a throat here, snap a neck there...

If we decide on taking on the stronger priest first, just disregard the rolls. :-)

Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Coup de Grace (unarmed strike w/ sneak attack): 2d6 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 2) + 6 + (3) = 13 [DC 23]

Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Coup de Grace (unarmed strike w/ sneak attack): 2d6 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (3, 6) + 6 + (2) = 17 [DC 27]

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

"Whoever is behind those doors," the pale elf says softly, pointing at a couple of doors on the south wall, "they are sleeping. Snoring actually. But that door over there, the second to last? The woman behind it is awake." He pauses and what sounds like distaste marks his next few words. "She is... praying to Mitra."

"And as for that room," he continues, indicating the northern door, "there are no sounds coming from there. So empty perhaps?"

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

"Never underestimate your opponents," Raven says softly, his voice taking an almost educational tone. "And never underestimate the strength numbers bring to opponents otherwise weak by themselves."

Male Elf Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Fighter (Weapon Master) 4; AC 18, touch 13, flat-footed 15, CMD 21 (22 vs. disarm and sunder when wielding longsword); HP 34/34; VP 3/3; Fort +6*, Ref +7*, Will +3* (+2 vs. fear, +1 vs. effects targeting longsword); Initiative +7; Perception +13 (darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision), Sense Motive +11

Raven can actually use his bare hands, say to crush a windpipe here and there, so as to make as little noise as possible. Between his improved unarmed damage and sneak attack, on a coup de grace he would do 2d6+6+1d6 points of damage. So, a DC Fortitude save to survive between 19 and 34?

Alternatively, if using his longsword two-handed to stab them through the heart or throat for as quick and silent a kill as possible, it would be 2d8+10+1d6, though a longsword is not exactly a small weapon as far as stealth and subtlety are concerned. In this case though, the DC would be between 23 and 42.
