The Rainbow Festival is about to held in the rebuilt Precipice Quarter. This year’s grand exhibits include a incredible gyroscopic towers from Vudra, a Minkaian kami temple called the Dragonfly Pagoda, a moving
castle built by Keleshite engineers, and a terrifyingly massive excavation machine called Graveraker. We of the Absalom Grand Council, are to provide opportunities for you citizen! Come to the local office of the Edge Watch located in the center of the Precipice Quater.
I am looking for 4-5 players. So pretend your character, is coming to apply. Please tell me the following.

The children give sing the Rock Stew song, as they do a dwarven chorus led by Jaget Steim. The celebration ends, the young Pathfinders find themselves rested, and ready to see what adventures lay ahead.

Bitty working hard, manages to skim the cobblestones. Kuypn works her magic as well, the cauldron, settles down for moment. Bitty has figured out what is going on and will need help in similar actions (2).

The Cobblestone is not looking well as the both rock solvents hit the swarm. Whips of acid, fill the air as the battle continues.
Sif will move up to the swarm One Action, they swing with their staff with both hands at it. One Action 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 the staff contexts with swarm. 1d8 ⇒ 4 a piece of the swarm falls away. She swings again, One Action 1d20 + 3 - 5 ⇒ (19) + 3 - 5 = 17 hitting the swarm again, 1d8 ⇒ 8 the creature shatters and the cobble stones fall to the ground. Kupyn points to the cauldron, I think it’s about to make more !
I did the bot thing, She do really good. The acid damage did a lot to it. To be clear, the cauldron is the issue. How do you all want to proceed? We are still in combat order,

I rolled to keep the game going, we are start of the second round .
Summer and the good Professor get hit with bunch cobbles stones (7). Bitty can feel it’s time to act.

Augustus that’s fine.
Bitty digs in satchel and pulls out the rock solvent & then throws the rock solvent at the Cobblestone Swarm, causing one side to melt, as the acid burns into it. Bitty notices the solvent did more damage than expected. She then, pulls her rapier, desiring to protect Egg.
Sif concentrates and while pulling their weapon. The Cobblestone Swarm seems to be magical as well the Cauldron.
Professor Augustus takes the better part of valor and recalls from his minds the Shield spell, then steps behind Summer. The Professor ever so curious knows that these creatures are aberrations.
Summer pulls theirs shield & sword as they sing hymn about the Last Walk Knights. Everyone begins to feel inspired.
The Swarm moves to where Summer is and the Rocks begins to pound both Summer and the Power Professor.

Sif looks at the what appears to be swarm, of stones flying in small cyclone. She seems to know that they are related to the some sort of summoning gone wrong. The stone swarms are aggressive.
some of you maybe used to combat a certain way. I prefer to let player roll for initiative.

Summer needs to roll with a + 2 from Scouting ahead.
Once I get those I begin combat.

Sif learns that these flasks, as she opens one smells of strong acid. She then puts too back in the flask she holds. As the group make their way to Kupyn’s cottage, they hear a yelp from inside. Kupyn’s cottage is brightly colored, with a thatched roof and tall chimney merrily puffing smoke into the brisk air. Yet as you get close, the house begins to rumble and quake.
The front door spills opens. Numerous tiny cobblestones pour out—no ordinary rocks. They all have open mouths with gleaming sharp teeth.

The small song of Soothe, that Summer hums, while waving their hand in intricate manner. Begins to take form over Jaget, the soft silver light, brings a warmth both mentally and physically to the old dwarf. After, few seconds the group of Pathfinders see the old dwarf smile. By Torag, that feels so much better. Jaget says he stretches out his knees. Thasper, run done to the store room and get the potatoes and the flasks.. A young redhead dwarf runs down the small hallway, after a minute or two, young Thasper returns and hands the bag of potatoes to Summer. I have something else for you as well. Jaget says. Thasper hands over a four flasks, to Bitty. These flake contain, special properties, use them wisely.
The group is ready to return to Kupyn house, any conversations along the way? .

Jaget Steim, the dwarf family patriarch, a elderly dwarf leaning on a stick. “ Well had promised, the potatoes, Kupyn. She was supposed to bring me a tincture, to help my joints See that she sent you. By any chance do you have the, tincture or do any of you know how to heal?”
He looks at each of you with a smile.
I need a medicine check or a nature check as long as you healing tool with you. You can also simply cast heal or provide a healing potion. Sorry for not answering so fast. I have been sick.

After watching Sif, take look at that rubble that was Brownies Castle. The witch is about to feel how the structure was built and laid out. Sif, takes the first log, and begins to place in the north corner, then the south, the west, and then the east. Building on that foundation, the rest is easy. After an hour and half. The task is complete, Nelia is cheered up and bows most gracefully to the group, she then claps her hands. Five brownies bring the scallions, to the group and then she says We are pleased, here are the scallions that are needed. We will be in attendance for Winter’s Week. Thank you once again. She bows and then returns to her court.
The party then proceeds to get the potatoes, traveling to the next direction.
A small mining compound sits just at the foot of the Hollow Hills. Several dwarves sit outside eating lunch. Hanging above the entrance is the sign “Steim Mine: Our Roots Run Deep.”
At the head of the table sits a venerable dwarf with a flowing white beard spilling over his mining leathers. ”Hello there. Here for ore or potatoes? If it’s the former, you’re in luck. If it’s the latter, there might be a problem.”

As the party approaches the grove, a multitude of twinkling lights begin dancing about in the shadows beneath the ancient trees. Giggles and whispers fill the air, but you see nothing. Upon reaching the center of the grove, where scallions, garlic, onions, and chives grow in thick clumps amid the dark soil, the whispering stops and the twinkling lights fade.
Several diminutive fey wearing leaves and flowers emerge from their hiding places from within the wood. One, taller than the rest, wearing a crown of woven scallions and holding a purple onion flower (several times her height) like a scepter, steps forward. “I am Nelia Starsister, the Grove’s Grand Garlicia and Alliumic Empress. Who are you to set foot in our domain?” the tiny brownie speaks with lot a enthusiasm.
Nelia then stares at the half elf, holding a staff with a healing kit on their side. Nelia's eyes widen at the whiteness of the half elf’s dress. She looks at the owl and bows a bit. Greetings oh great White Lord of the Skies” she says.
Nelia looks at the Professor and giggles.
Nelia looks at Bitty and Summet and smiles.

After Bitty speaks to Farmer Greetle he becomes happy that Kupyn stills has the spirit of Winter Week. He then gives the group carrots and celery
“ Please tell Kupyn I promise to attend the Winter Week feast.” He also gives the group a bag to hold the vegetables. Can you also do this old farmer a favor in the spirit of Winter Week. Can you take this magic mallet back to Kupyn? I used it to help with some chores around the farm. Then he passes the the mallet to Summer.

Well Bitty, and new friends. I heard Kupyn complaining about Winter Week. As a community leader I feel like she lost the spirit. On a personal level, it hurt my feelings. We all try really hard to contribute to the holiday. Hearing the song earlier cheered me some. he says this and then realizes he may said something unkind. You all get the feeling that singing the song may help and possible reassurance that Kupyn does care about Winter Week. need a performance check from one person & a diplomacy check from another. It’s a short walk and Dab walks with the group. From the new paint and fine wooden carvings of the farmers’ god Erastil lining the gate, it’s evident the farmer has been doing well.
Bunwol Greetle, an elderly human, sits on the front porch with his grandchildren, shelling peas and singing about rock stew. Far from unfriendly, when Farmer Greetle sees people approaching, a smile breaks over his face. ”Hail and well met, strangers! What can I do for you on this fine day?”

Don’t know why; always gave them to me free before! If I set foot on his farm again and see his smug face, I don’t know that I could control my temper!” [/B

Why can’t I get the potatoes from the dwarven miners? “Every month I give their head miner, Jaget Steim, a tincture to help with aching joints. Only this month... well, my own joints were aching and I didn’t make enough for more than one person. If you could help Jaget out somehow, it’d go a long way toward making things right.”
She walks over and pets Dab. She smiles keeping her temper in check. Then says Why
can’t I get the scallions from the brownies? “I caught the brownies knotting my hound Darb’s hair as a joke... I may have lost my temper with them and knocked over their hut. It’ll go better if someone else asked. Might be good to bring Darb with you, though. Those brownies love him.”
She smiles to everyone.

Kupyn sighs, then begins to speak. “ Let me to you , the tale of her great-grandmother and the rock stew. I can teach you the song!
Repeat after me.
Rock stew for me, rock stew for you! It’s the soup that helps us in all that we do! If you want to make it, you need a few things: potatoes, carrots, celery, and FIVE SCALLION RINGS Rock stew for me, rock stew for you! It’s the dish that helps us see winter through! Some salt, some pepper, a cauldron of bounty, a few cuts of mutton and a magic rock or three! Rock stew for me, rock stew for you! Have a Happy Winter Week, let’s eat some stew!
After singing the song, she then says “Every year I place a special rock in the stew. The one who finds the rock is said to have good luck throughout the coming year. I could pick the mutton myself, but I will pay you all a nice bounty if you help me collect these things”

Kupyn looks like she is in thought, then says “ Oh yeah, here is what I need. Carrots and celery from Farmer Greetle’s farm, found in the southwest part of the village. A bag of deep root potatoes grown by the dwarves at the foot of the Hollow Hills, a bit west of the village. A bundle of scallions from the brownies who tend them in the grove just north of the village. When you have these things, meet me at my house and I can put them in the cauldron! Do you have any questions for me?”

He lowers his golden head, pushing his ears out to be scratched. When Bitty Blue scratches the ear, Darb thumbs a foot. While Darb is being petted, Kupyn stairs at the old wizard, she smiles some. Not bad looking, seems to have most of his teeth. .

Kupyn looks at woman dressed in the white dress and smiles. How do you keep it white while on the roads? the old halfing asks Liv.

As you each make your way to the center of the village. An older halfling woman in bright clothes quickly approaches, a large golden wolfhound at her side. She places herself before the heroes with a glint in her eye and grins. ”I don’t suppose you’re looking for any work, by chance?!” She asks “If you are, I have just the task. Doesn’t pay much, but you’ll get full bellies and a place to stay, along with the joy of helping an old woman on Winter Week!” She holds up a small cobblestone with great reverence and a slightly crooked facial expression. “My name is Kupyn Baro,” says the halfling. “Me and my pup Darb need your help to make this rock into a stew that will feed our village. What do you say, dear heroes?”
