Correction to Hand and Out of Turn Update
Forgot to remove recharged cards after shuffle which is done after resetting hand.
Since Speed was cast during the encounter with weapon card, I get to look at bottom card and if spell, draw it into hand..since healed it is a random card (Augury)

Casting Augury at Apothecary and selecting Blessing

No Blessing found so Apothecary is now shuffled/random

We have our work cut out for us.
I Start to make my way into the dungeon.
I find an old spell book with an Enfeeble spell.
It might come in handy.
I press on and come across a crazed Cultist. I tried to reason with him but he would have none of that. I had to use a Lightning spell on him and then he was no more.
The cultist was guarding a large chest. No matter what I did I could not get it open.
We do not have a lot of time so I had to leave it and move on.
As I was leaving this area I noticed that the Cultist had a Blast Stone.
I pick it up. I am sure one of our combat types might have need of it.
Under it I find another spell book with Detect Evil.
I cast it now and there is no evil near by but there is Magic Axe!!


After making my way to Shrine I find a Shop Keeper's Daughter that is being held prisoner there. I shutter to think that she is there for use in some sort of sick ritual. Freeing her is not difficult using the pick and tools I had found early. Once she escapes I continue deeper and come across the unholy spawn itself.

This is it everyone! Let's hit with everything we have. Lucky for us I still have 2 combat spells at the ready because our first volley only seems to strengthen this hideous thing. This time we use the Blessing of Lamashtu to defeat it. Somehow it seems a fitting combo to use with my last Acid Arrow.

Before you act, each character must succeed at a Wisdom 7 check or recharge his hand then draw the same number of cards. After the encounter, each character is dealt 2 Mental damage that may not be reduced for each blessing she played.

So everyone has to make a Wisdom 7 check. Reiko and Harsk need to temp close the Warrens before I proceed. Remember you take damage of 2 when using a blessing.

Using Sage adds 1d6, my Sapphire replaces 1d4 to 1d10 and a Blessing from Meliski.
that is 2d10+1d6

Now that I know where the Goblin Raider is I make a plan and head towards him.
I am going to use my Force Missile and Eye Patch. I was so focused on getting to him I forget that Meliski and Harsk could have each helped me with this. I will try to remember that for next time. No need to do things alone. Being the powerful caster that I am this simpleton of a Goblin
was easily defeated. Now was my chance to close this cave complex down for good and hopefully escape this place. I sing my Blessings to Shelyn and then send my fox off to scout. When he does not return I know he has found the way out and I follow his path. I emerge from the cave and let everyone know that this is nothing else left here. Maybe I will tell them about the armor I found...

I explore deeper into the cave. I start to feel lost down here and getting out of here might be harder than I think. I come to a hole on the side of the path that looks bottomless. I can see on a small ledge the remains of an unfortunate explorer. He appears to be wearing decent plate armor and a sword that still gleams after sitting there for a long time. I fashion a hook and try to snag the body. As I am hoisting the remains up I quickly realize I do not have the strength to do his and the rope slips from my hands. There is no hope of anyone retrieving them now because as the body fell back down it hit the ledge and went over. Now my rope is gone too. The Fox looks perplexed at me like he is thinking what I am trying to do? A small treat distracts him which he is happy to consume and we continue deeper into this cave.

After the Goblin was defeated I head over to the Treacherous Cave. I figure how bad can it be? I soon find out as I am not barely into the entrance and a stupid Goblin Scout pops out of hiding and hits me squarely in the arm with an arrow. Luckily I had Force Missile ready and let him have it, in fact so badly it is just a pile of goo now on the cave floor. The arrow passed thru my arm cleanly so I bandage my wound and sing a Blessing song and explore further in the cave. I come across a skeleton with some items still on it. One is a pouch. I am able to get the pouch away from the skeleton without disturbing the bones. In there I find a bundle of tools that would be good at disabling traps and opening doors. I will save these for later as you never know when they will be handy. I keep searching the body and find a magic Eye Patch and a magic dagger. As I go deeper into the cave I come across a lone hungry and scared fox. I offer him some food and water and he starts to follow me around. He is a cute little fella. I better not tell Meliski because he thinks they are good eating. Is he a barbarian?? Something to look into...

I continue to look around and explore. As I do I come across what I think is another pit and panic. I lose my balance and drop the Light Crossbow. It turns out not to be a pit but just a small depression in the path.

I cast Detect Magic to see what is ahead and a treasure map is buried in a bottle at the base of a large pine tree. I head there to find it and I am able to find the correct tree.

I follow the treasure map but instead of leading to some great find I end up at the out skirts of a Goblin Raider that is trying to control this mountain.

I am going to wait here and let Harsk deal with this menace.

After much debate with Meliski I am convinced to head over to the Mountain Peak and scout for monsters.

Once I get to the Mountain Peak I cast Augury looking for any hostile foes. Surely there must be some dangerous spots about .

While searching in my mind I could see that a Pit Trap was close by but I thought I could safely avoid it. That is not the case. Reiko I need you to cast your Blessing to help me out here. I am using one of my one blessings as well.

I was right. With their Captain defeated the rest did flee from here. Instead of joining the others to deal with the Chief I decide to look around here to see if there is anything worth while.

Most of the stuff here is junk but in the Armory I did find a nice Longbow and some magic leather armor. While the bow is not magical it appears to be very good quality and looks like it could shoot very far if in the hands of a skilled user which of course I am not. I am sure the magic armor will be worth something to someone once we finish dealing with the chief.

After I finish looking around I think I will take a slight break before regrouping with my friends.

I stay at the Waterfront and encounter the Shadow

I will use Force Missile and my Eye Patch to try to get the jump on this thing.

Force Missile1 + Eye Patch DC 13: 2d4 + 1d10 + 4 + 1d4 ⇒ (3, 4) + (1) + 4 + (1) = 13

Whew!! That was close but the Shadow was dispersed by the Force Missile.

Use power to move Detect Magic to my hand.
Recharge the Eye Patch and try to recharge the Force Missile

Arcane Check DC6 to recharge Force Missile 1: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

I will cast Detect Magic to see what else is close be here.
There is a Cultist near by.
I will discard Detect magic so Force Missile 1 is still on the Bottom of my deck so I can get it when I cast Force Missile 2 on the Cultist
I will use my BotG to Explore again to find him and use my other Force Missile on him.

Force Missile DC 9: 2d4 + 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (4, 2) + (8) + 4 = 18

The Cultist is beaten into submission by the Force Missile.

I use my power to move Force Missile 1 back to my hand and attempt to recharge
Force Missile 2.

Arcane Check DC6 to recharge Force Missile 2: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Force Missile 2 is discarded as I failed my check. I reset my hand and end my turn

I am going to press on about the Waterfront.
I cast Detect Magic and I sense
A Shadow.
I let everyone know to be careful around the docks because there is a Shadow on the loose and only Magic can defeat him.
I am going to work on some spells.

Not heeding the bard’s advice I decide to stay and look around the waterfront some more.
I continue to explore the old warehouse. In back there is not much light and in that darkness I have come across a Shadow. I have a real tough fight on my hands.

I use my Lightning Touch and a blessing.
Lightning Touch Spell + BotG: 2d4 + 2d10 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2) + (8, 8) + 4 = 25
The ghastly Shadow is easily dispersed forever.
I use my ability to place Lightning Touch back in my hand. Discard the BotG, draw a card which is BotG 3 and end my turn. I cannot post my hand from my iPad. I will not try this this again. Takes too long and I cannot manipulate my google sheet easily. I will post updated hand later but it is same as my last posting just with a different BotG available for anyone to use.


Does not seem like there is much left to prayer about. I am going to head to the Waterfront and see what I can find over there.

Over by the docks I find a bottle with a paper rolled up inside. Once I get the paper out I can see that it is a Treasure Map !. I wonder what I will find if I follow it.
