Doubtful. I remember there being several plans as to where this game was going:

Plan A - Mike comes back, we don't switch to 4e
Plan B - Mike gives the go-ahead for Kruelaid to DM, we don't switch to 4e
Plan C - Mike gives the go-ahead for me to DM, we don't switch to 4e
