If you still want to play a goblin, you can deck it out with adventuring gear so that it looks like a slightly more civilized goblin, possibly tinkering with something of benefit to the party that he's willing to share. That might give the party pause before killing you outright.

I guess it goes without saying, you WILL reach 11th level next session, so have 11th level versions ready, although you won't level until you rest.

I found the WotC colossal red to be WAY too big. It would have been fine to be on a 6x6 base but standing on all fours, requiring it to be smaller. It would still qualify as a colossal and be plenty big.
Then again, the colossal they released is probably on par with the scaling on the Mythic Adventures cover.
For GreatKhanArtist, who just reviewed the game:
Outbreak rules: if a rule requires you to place an infection token on a city, and it already has 3 tokens of that same color on it, an outbreak occurs:
No more infection tokens of a given color: If a rule requires you to place an infection counter on a city, and no more tokens of that color are available, you lose the game. Using up all the tokens doesn't lose the game - only trying to place one and failing because they are gone loses the game.

For many years I have served on the Seven Spears Council. Despite my desire to divine more of the pending destruction, my superiors and the deities have been frustratingly silent. The others' teachings of the Great Fallacy will undoubtedly destroy us all.

This ship has numerical stats similar to a TIE Fighter (same attack and evasion, but 2 shield + 2 hull rather than just 3 hull). It also retains the usual Rebel ability to target lock, and has an ability new to Wave 2 (Boost, which allows it to cover more distance as an action).
One of the A-Wing pilot cards also has the most hilarious ability I've seen in the X-Wing minis game so far - Arvel Crynyd, who served as Green Leader in Return of the Jedi (you know, the guy that screamed and ran into the Super Star Destroyer bridge?), has the ability to be able to target a ship that the A-Wing is touching (which normally can't happen). This means it is a viable strategy to try to crash this ship into other ships. Enjoy!
Wave 2 adds some nice new dynamics to the game.
- Slave I can drop bombs that explode and hurt other ships
Plus Millennium Falcon! Come on!
The cards look lovely. But I see something there that I also noticed as a problem with the reprint of the Pandemic board game - the artwork for the cards stretches all the way to the edge!
This means there might be times when players can tell what cards are coming up on the draw (even at times if facedown).
Is that a problem?
- Returned to camp to rest
- Ivo Haigan (CR 9) = 6400xp
- +1 breastplate
Also, please note the item upgrades that have been completed from 4 days of crafting. I believe most were requests for a +1 upgrade to armor or shields.
- Group takes 8 days to craft items
(This is a post about the main Pandemic 2013 edition game, not its expansion On the Brink)
This is the 2nd edition of the Pandemic game. The manual has been rewritten (although the rules have not changed except for the addition of two more role cards), the board artwork is different, the infection tokens are now clear plastic, the card art has changed (both front and back), and the player tokens are smaller.
But buyer beware.
Since the back artwork for the cards has changed, and you aren't supposed to know what you're drawing, that makes this set incompatible with the first edition of the expansion On The Brink. ZMan is offering compatibility packs to make the card art the same for both, but you get the new artwork in the compatibility packs, not the old art.
First print boards are missing a city connection from Lagos to Sao Paulo (from Africa to South America). ZMan Games will send you a replacement board if you send them an email.
Some buyers are complaining of some missing infection tokens.
Lastly - and this is the very worst problem - the front artwork on the cards stretches to the edge of the cards, so you can tell what kind of card you're about the draw by looking at the edge.
Until the designs are corrected, you might want to hold off on purchasing this.
I was in a PFS scenario with my magus 5 the other day. We were fighting a couple of dangerous melee opponents, so I color sprayed them and shut then down for a few rounds while we took them out.
Later a ninja turned invisible on us and tried to escape. Had I had glitterdust on me, we would have caught him. It is now in my spell book.

what news on tomorrow's game? You'd said something earlier in the week about compiling data.
Right. Apparently that isn't happening until Friday, so it's next weekend that I may have to work. Tonight's game is still on.

I'm running Serpent Skull online, and so far it's taking 16 sessions at 4 hours each to finish each book.
There are at times a fair amount of roleplay, so I imagine paths that are more dungeon crawly will go faster.
A tiny goof in the Gamespace paragraph:
"There's another major effort that has seen a lot of work in 2012, but that most people won't see until 2012: Paizo Game Space". Should be "won't see until 2013", I'm guessing!
- Entered the cauldron with Dalara to defeat Egzimora

Loot (on Egzimora):

I agree that story cohesion would suffer. It doesn't lend itself to playing a path entirely from start to finish. But I especially like the higher level options!
A section well introduced by the GM should at least offset the lack of story development.
One complaint about the path is that the overarcing story is not clear to the players - they usually just feel like they are going from place to place killing things.
There is plenty background for the GM to enjoy, but not much to reveal to the players until later in the path.
Otherwise, it's a solid classic path to begin with.
