Yeah he started out as a normal powers type...but I changed hinm as he background got fleshed out. So he only have a few powers..the powerful stuff is the armor.
He isn't a power suit per say, but really more along they lines of a body mesh suit with guntlets and a harness or chest piece..there are really no servos to control anything...well after ya said that I decided there are in the hands :}
But yeah he is a wealthy techi..no super int but it is 20 so good enough for me.
Mark finds himself in the workshop, it has been a busy morning, 2 meeting and he had several papers to look over yet, still the suit needs adjusting and here he is. He had some improvements that came out of The R&D of WTI and he was itching to try them.
Yes the new mesh works much better, he has more tactile sences at lest 20% improvement. Humm this might work for the new armored vests that they been working on. not as high tech but still could be adapted on a more affordable budget. Yes , humm may have to tech to the boys in product plament and development about other uses for this.
He allows a charge to roll across his hands and release a bolt into the wall....Yes this would work nicely and with the new power pack he;ll have no more power outages at bad times...ugh the last one was bad, he was sore for a month after that.

Captain Invincible would much rather belong to the Freedom Brigade than the Shadow Council, and since I kick in money for our marketing... I mean if I had it my way we would be Team Invincible or the Invincibles or Captain Invincible and his Amazing Friends!
Mark wellens was born in freedom city. While always a gifted child his grads where never great as he often fantasized about being a hero. His daydreams kept him locked in his own fantasy till his powers manifested at 14. Finally his dream had come true, he would protect the city like his hero the centurion. Unfortunately for him his powers where not , well powerful. He could control friction to a limited degree , sticking people to the ground with some secures and skating along at good speeds.
So mark with only the gusto a 14 year old cold do donned a homemade custom and went to clear the streets of crime.
It went well for a few weeks, stopping bulys and bag snatchers. It wouldn't till he had a run in within a locale gang that mark had his wake up call. Beaten, shot and left for dead mark spent weeks in the hospital and months in recovery. His dreams of heroes died in that alleyway.
After that he stuck his nose in the books, gone was any thought of his meager powers being anything . He worked hard got his grades up. Then came the Invasion. Mark helped the best he could running massages trying to hold down the drones. Often his efforts were not good enough, but in the end Omega was defeated and his child idol died that day.
That death is what has fueled him. It drove his mind he gained jobs at tech firms and weapons division. In 1998 at the age of 23 he formed his own small company Wallens Technology. In the 4 years since it has become a leader in Cutting edge armor and communications technology.
Mark has used his resources to built devices to increasing his own power and when The Freedom league went missing he knew someone had to step up. His hero had given his all for the people could he do any less?
