I am rather excited PFO and I can understand people being passionate about PFO. The one thing I think people need to do is relax a bit. There are so many post that just so angry and negative it make me not want to keep reading about this game and just wait until EE to come back to the board.

There is no need to threaten GW with pulling your funding. That is a rather immature thing to say. They are allowing us to give input into the product they are making. We should be grateful for this opportunity.

The blogs released by GW will not completely cover every angle on every topic. There is no way for them to do this without taking away from actual product development. They are providing us with an insight to what that are doing. Again we should that graceful for the insight into the process.

We should give the development team the benefit of the doubt when it come to game balance. There is no way they want to create a game that will not be enjoyable and fair. There will have to be compromises on all sides to find a good middle ground that make the game work.

TL/DR Please try to refrain from angry posting. Let keep this community working together nicely.

I like that GW is doing crowdforging. It make me feel like I am part of the development team. To that end I beleive that before pets, god, or mounts/fast travel lets get the rest of the core races in the game. Hell, the halfling lost by four votes it that doesn't show how important the different races are nothing will. With the three halves(half-elf, half-orc, and halflings) totaled it was well over 500+ people asking to do different races.

That is my vote for the next thing to add to the game. I want all races available for Beta.

I have pledged for the PFO Kickstarter and will be getting a lot of 3rd party pdf's. I already own the ones I am interested in and I have the Core rulebooks as well. I was hoping there is a way I can donate these unneeded pdf's somehow.

OK, this may seem like a dumb question to some. There are some add-ons for the kickstarter that I am intersted in, how do I select them?

Grand Lodge

So here is the basics. I am going to be joining a group soon and they do not appear to have any healing ability. I have no problems playing a character that makes sure his fellow merc's are able to continue fighting. I do believe that most healing should be done after combat though. I was looking at a crusader cleric possible build. The extra feats would really help, I think. I was thinking a Keshilite merc that worships Sarenrae and uses a scimitar.

So on with the build requirement:
Non evil(leaning toward true neutral)
25 point build
4th level
6000 gp to spend

I have a halfling character that uses a halfling slingstaff and a buckler. I have the alt. racial trait Warslinger.
Can I get the shield bonus in the same round that I attack?
If the slingstaff is two handed do I get STR+1/2 like every other two handed weapon?

I am not sure but is there a type feat like Furious Focus that works with Deadly Aim.

So the Halfling Slingstaff can be used as a club in melee. I was wondering if I could use Shillelagh on a nonmagical slingstaff to increase the damage from 1d4 to 1d8? It sounds resonable to me but I wanted some thoughts from others.

Grand Lodge

This has probably been asked hundreds of times but I could not find a clear answer on the message board. Under the UMD skill for wand use it says to to use a wand normally it must be on your classes spell list.

For classes like Bard who have limited spells known does that mean even if I do not know CLW, I can still use a wand of CLW with no checks? This makes no logical sense to me. Just because I have the option to choose that spell does not mean I should be able to just flick the stick and cast it.

Please help me understand this, am I just seeing it wrong?

At max, we can have 6 players. If you are interested sign into Infrno and join the game with a level 1 character.

I am looking to build a new character for PFS. I am looking to create a "True Pathfinder" as I envision it. Someone who can go out on their own and full explore a ruin themselves if needed.

I came down to Archivist vs Archaeologist to fit the bill. They both gain rogue-like abilities that will be of great use. I havn't completely decided on a race either so that is rather open for suggestion as well.

Thanks

What happens when I put an Ioun stone in my Wayfinder? Is there a Resonant Power? If so how is it determined? Sorry if this is obvious.

Grand Lodge

Is the only way to know if the chronicle sheet has been changed is to purchase the scenario and check it? I have played a couple of early season mods and want to make sure I got the updated/correct chronicle sheet.

The feat states:

Halfling Slinger (Combat)
You have honed your racial talent for slingcraft.
Prerequisite: Halfling.
Benefit: You gain a +1 racial bonus on attack rolls made using a sling.

Does this include the Halfling Slingstaff and Double Slings?

Should the weight for a medium mounts saddle be the same as a large mounts? It should be half the weight but it shows up as the same. It can be a real problem with mount encumbrance. If this is an error can it be fixed?

Grand Lodge

So how is 3d battle handled in pathfinder? How many 5' cubes does a medium/small creature take up and Threaten? I would appreciate any clarification and book/pg references thanks.

Grand Lodge

In 3.5 there were mw miltary saddles available for purchase are they available in PF?

In 3.5:
Saddle, Masterwork: Th is well-made piece of gear, which can be either a riding saddle or a military saddle, is more comfortable and more responsive than a normal saddle. Because of its excellent craftsmanship, a masterwork saddle grants a +1 circumstance bonus on
Ride checks. If a masterwork saddle is also a military saddle, this bonus stacks with the +2 circumstance bonus that a military saddle provides to Ride checksrelating to staying in the saddle (see Player's Handbook, page 132).
Each masterwork saddle is tailored for a specific kind of creature. As such, it fits best on that kind of creature and thus provides its bonus only when used with that kind of creature. For example, a masterwork saddle made for heavy warhorses would provide its bonus if used on any
heavy warhorse, but would not provide a bonus if used on a dragon (assuming the saddle was of an appropriate size for the dragon).

So I am a little halfling with a weight problem. The gp from the PFS missions is just dragging me down. I was wondering what, if any, costs are associated in converting my coins to lovely and light gems?

My group came across a slight problem on movement in combat discription. On pg 170 of Core state's

Tactical movement is used for combat. Characters
generally don’t walk during combat, for obvious reasons—
they hustle or run instead. A character who moves his
speed and takes some action is hustling for about half the
round and doing something else the other half.

On page 172 of Core, there is a table 7-6 Movement and Distance. The table shows in One Round(Tactical)* there is listed walk, Hustle, Run(x3),Run(x4).

My question is by these two sources can I use my movement action to Hustle 60ft and use my standard action to move another Hustle 60ft?
