Everybody, I just posted a review with a breakdown of page counts for the chapters, but let me just reiterate again: as soon as it's available for you,

Buy. This. Book.

Wow. Just... wow.

I really enjoyed your review, I'm still waiting on my order to ship out. And Gods is the wait killing me. I'm so ready for this to ship so I can get my PDF. I keep checking my email and on here. I love reading what everyone is posting on here. I love the Fiends and all the Dark Powers and this is just what I've wanted. So just wanted to say loved the review and it's heightened my excitement for this book.

When will my order ship, O great Paizo Overlords. I'll sign an Infernal Contract.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

OK. Was hoping to get the confirmation taday.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

When will my order be shipped?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Slowly descending into madness as I wait for my email confirmation and access to the PDF........

How is the Artwork?

I'm still really anxious to know how well this book is going to be received and how this will affect future releases. I'm excited with the idea of having all this options for creating villains and opponents, but I'm also dreaming with the possibility of seeing a "Celestial" version of this book.

I'm also excited with the illustrations for the Queens of the Night. *-*

OMG so am I. The new artwork for all the Demigod Fiends.

Ardad Lili and Socothbenoth are the two I'm most looking forward to seeing.

Plus all the lore, the spells and artifacts the rituals. I'm going crazy waiting for this. I need it now sooooo bad.

I hope they start the previews on this today in the blog.
I've been so excited about this since they announced it.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Yes.
Yes..
YES!!!
Eternal Damnation be upon us, Praise be to Asmodeus!!!!!

Ooh i'd love to see some Hexes that use the thematic power based on each of the different Hags and other Coven creatures.
Example: Heartstone Hex that harnesses the power from a Night Hag.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

What I would truly love to see is a Witch archtype, called Warlock that focuses on Dark Magic and a Malevolent Patron. A Witch who has truly devoted to the Forces of Evil.

Maybe with this & Elemental Master's Handbook, I can create an elemental witch, with focus on either earth or electricity/lightening.

Check out the Havocker Witch Archtype, Their Patron is the Kinetists' Elemental focus and instead of Hexes they get Elemental Blast and infusions.

Its quite fun.

Thank You.

So what the difference between having the Role Playing Subscription and the Preorder for this book

OHHH Here is a thought, in Bestiary 3 the Nephilim is the offspring of Demigods, Like Baphomet's Daughter in The Midnight Isles from WotR.

Could we possibly see traits for Nephilim of the Demigod Fiends?

So I am setup for the preorder on this, but does anyone know when the preoders ship out?

What day they charge for the preorders?

ect...

I am so ready to have this in my possession.

Shipping will most probably begin on september 11th and go on until september 22nd.

Then it depends on where you live for how long it will reach you.

The "september 2017 shipping thread" should go online on 4th of september (it is usually the first monday of a month).

That is the earliest time when you can write into it and ask about price (depending on if you only want this book shipped to you or something else in addition) and shipping time and such things.
The nice customer care guys and gals will answer all of your questions very quickly.

For an example look here: june 2017 monthly shipping thread.

Cheers, Marco from Germany

Thank you Marco.

Certainly! But, as we're still three months away from street date, those won't be coming until later. We're excited about this book too, so don't you worry about us not crowing about it closer to release. :)

THANK YOU O' GREAT ONE!!!!!!!!

I'm just soooo excited for this book that I'm brimming with Infernal Glee.

I'm constantly rereading the BotD Vol. 1-3 and Hell Unleashed I just love all the options and the Lore in them. It really gets the Hellfire pumping in the veins.

My Bestfriend is more for the Necronomicon and Elder Mythos

But the Book of the Damned is my baby.

I just need more tid bits to satisfy this Fiendish fix.

Depends on your timezone. They usually come out at 1am MT for me, but not always.

Hopfully that means I'll get at 2AM Central Time.

In BotD Vol.1, when it listed the various Devils it told what kind of torment in Hell that creates them.
Just as it tell us the ehat kind of Sin for Demons and Death for Daemons. But that was the only book that explains what torment creats which Devil. So in this book willwe bet an uodate on all the methods of Devil Creation?

So opinions based only on Special Abilities and Weapons, Baalzebul vs Mephistopheles, who takes the Crown?
Mephistopheles, by a few hairs. But what do you expect from the personification of Hell? :)

These two are my favorite of the Archdevils, I love their lore and history. So I like to image, if Asmodeus was gone who would take the Throne of Hell.

And while I think that yeah the odds are in Mephistopheles' favor I also kinda rooting for Baalzebul as the Underdog.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Is there going to be a playtest for the Shifter?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

So I noticed that back in Book of the Damned: Princes of Darkness, there where some spells such as Hellfire and Summon Hellmouth that are listed as spells in the Book(Artifact) but not actually listed. Will we get the chance to see these spells and more in the Hardback version?

Im also hoping for a Planar Dragon preveiw, specifically the Heaven and Hell dragons.

Are Demigods affected by Antimagic field?

It says artifacts and deities are not, so I assume it wouldn't affect them. But I need another opinion or official ruling.
For a certain upcoming battle, my players plan to tackle Mephistopheles in Hell's Rebels and have request that battle to be added. And I have a Counter Mage who loves Antimagic Field.
Demigods are not affected by antimagic field unless said antimagic field comes from something equally or more powerful. AKA: PC antimagic fields don't work on demigods; they count as deities in this manner.

Thank you -Devilish Laugh- I got ya now, Merrick.

Thank you for always taking the time to answer our madness, Overlord T-Rex.

James Jacobs, I was pondering something about the Demon Lords and I'll use Nocticula as my example. So She is a CR 30 being and Demon Lords are not Mythic. But within her Abyssal Rift She has counts as being MR 10. So does that mean while in the Midnight Isles she is considered to be CR 35? Please explain and elaborate.

She's CR 30 regardless of where she's encountered. That's as high as CR scores officially go. She doesn't have mythic ranks, but is treated as a mythic creature.

In fact, in all cases, the CR score listed for any monster or NPC in a book we publish is the actual CR score. I personally think including the "MR" value for mythic creatures is confusing, since knowing that value is not necessary to use the monster in a gameā€”it's merely a guideline used when creating a mythic monster using the mythic rules.

Thank you James for clearing that up for me. Makes sense now and actually more excited for the Upcoming Demigods.

I do realize that this may be something that has already been discuss, but I haven't seen anything to confirm anything yet and Just something I'd like to get confirmed. I also assume that this would also apply to all over Demigods as well.

James, what can you tell us about the Oinodaemon in The Book of the Damned?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

What I would love most to see in this Bestiary is all 8 of The Archdevils, a few of the Infernal Dukes, the 4 Whore Queens and the 12 Malebranche. All my love for the Legions of Hell. I've been waiting to see their power. Would also like to see a Hell Dragon.

In regard to the Four Horsemen what about the mysterious 5th horseman, The Oinedaemon, could it possibly appear as well??

Also been curious about something from the Behemoth Thalassic entry.... The Dread Leviathans.

Anything you can hint at James?

I'd love to have a class called Warlock: Witch/Summoner. Curses and A pact with a dark entity. Destructive dark magic and the summoning of evil outsiders.
