I really loved this box set. Me and my group of friends were going to buy D&D 4th edition, but I really didn't want to. I heard about Pathfinder and was like this is an amazing game. So we saved money and got the beginner box set. We started from there and progressed. This is a must have for beginning Pathfinder players. So now we play with the Core Rulebook and we wouldn't be there without the beginners set. On the down side though they leave lots of things out. As soon as we changed to the main rules things changed big time.
