Due to financial issues. Thankyou

Hi I have just recieved my copy of pathfinder 15 (order 1068642), sent on the 24th of October, but am still waiting for the items (order 948932) that were sent on the 7th of october?.

Is it possible to track these shipments at all.

Hi, can I please cancel my subscription to Pathfinder Modules. Thankyou.

I know this is probably a long shot considering it is still a bit of time away, but I was wondering if my Pathfinder Beta preorder could be shipped with my Pathfinder AP order?

Thanks

Hi, I was just checking on my order 846340. It says it was shipped on December 11th. It still hasnt arrived. I understand the world stops for Christmas, but should I be concerned?

Thanks

I dont know what I have done, but my pathfinder 4 isnt going to ship until pathfinder 5 comes out. As fellow fans of the AP, I am sure you can all sympathize with me when I say :(.

Is there anyway the nice people at Paizo can send me the two items (pathfinder and gamemastery module)any sooner. I dont think I can hold of until Jan to get my copies and the PDF's.

Thanks

In the past several weeks, I've come to think of "Hook Mountain Massacre" as the limit. It's the edge of how far you can expect Pathfinder to go. In the end, of course, the numbers will certainly help tell the tale as to how successful Pathfinder 3 was.

It's worth remembering that this IS, in lots of ways, brand new territory for us. We're still figuring out how and what to do with Pathfinder—testing the maturity level is but one of them. Threads like this are invaluable in teaching us how to make a better Pathfinder, and you can certainly trust that I'm keeping a close eye on them.

My basic goal, though, is to keep Pathfinder in the PG-13 band of entertainment. Now and then, it may drift into "R" or "PG" (although drifting into PG is not nearly as noticeable), but I'll certainly be doing my best to make sure it doesn't drift too far. And threads like these are invaluable in telling me when things might have done just that.

I just really hope you dont PG-13 it too much. The adventures were very realistic in the way they desribed the atrocities, no more so than anything a six year old could find on the news or very easily on the web. I know some people are offended by this kind of stuff, but I am sure people could find something offensive about any adventure. (The bad guy was black, the bad guy was white, I am a dwarf and I find that offensive etc.)

You have provided believable villians, who are not static or 1 dimensional, and act like villians should. Bad guys often dont show remorse, and for a non human to use human remains for fun or profit is well, just normal, okay the incest is full on, but have you ever watched Jerry Springer, it doesnt seem to be THAT uncommon (there are whole countries who's traditional belive requires a family member to be your "first") And as far as the nudity in the image goes, really are you that sheltered.

I would be far more upset to see unrealistic villians than an incestuous ogrekin.

Having said that, I also dont see the need to have every villian like Mammy.

Oh, and anyone who buys diamonds is far more bloodthirsty, gruesome and sociopathic than ANY of the ogres in Hook Mountain Massacre - at least they don't support an industry that thrives on inhuman abuse, terror, and exploitation of entire peoples.

That is so true almost every diamond has the blood of oppressed peoples on it, in the most literal sense. infact anthropologist have done studies on the promotion of diamonds. For a featureless, colourless stone that was found lying on the ground, propoganda and the media have hyped diamonds into being the "luxury" item they are now. They really are the tap water of gemstones.

If you are wearing a lovely diamond on you finger or necklace, sucker... (And my g/f is the anthropologist that alerted me to these facts)

Quite a list, I think once I get home from work I will have do have a dig through the bookcase and see how many of these I have.

Oh and thankyou Nick, for HMM and Skinsaw. They really get across the "evil" that monsters do. I know there is alot of controvosy at the moment about said adventures, but many of us really appreciate the more realistic overtones.

Adventures set in ancient time need to have gore. It is a part of life for the adventurers.

What do you think happens when your fighter hits an enemy with his sword, there is going to be blood, there is going to be entrails, snd there is going to be agonising screams.

What do you think happens when you wizard casts fireball, there is going to be burning flesh, fat sizziling, and horrendous screams of pain form those not killed by the blast.

When your theif stabbs someone in the back, slides his blade deep into the kidney of an enemy, without his knowledge, taking the advantage of an unaware victim.

This list could go on. You characters are not playing with flowers. They are striking people/things with swords.

In a world that is overrun with demons, undead walk the lands to feast on the living and devils fornicate with mortals, why do you fret at something that actually "describes" what is going on. Seriously, if you dont like the idea of gore, you should really be playing "How the care bears saved christmas".

All these adventures are doing in actually realising the evil and depravity missing from villians.

Does an Ogre care that his back scratcher is made from a human. No, they probably see us as no more than animals. Like my previous post, I bet some of you use animal products regulary.

One defence was that, it is okay to use animal body parts but not sentient humanoids, cause thats evil. Tell that to tribes of PNG who use human remains to fashion tools out of need or an orangatang (spelling?) using a found monkey knuckle to scratch himself.

Seriously, if the idea of a desecrated corpse, or an incestous mater, or even something more vile, chance are
a.) It happens in reality (look at some of goya's "victims of war series")
b.) Is probably something your character has done previously without paying the actuallity of it any mind, and
c.) someone has seen it on Springer anyways.

Use a little common sense, you playing in a vile world where evil and death roam freely, you have to expect some consequences.

Wow, long post. Man can I waffle on...

Eh, to me, I just started thinking about What's Eating Gilbert Grape?

i guess that would be... Mammy

But seriously, do you think ogres eat berries and flower petals. And why not use our bones/bodies as toys and equipment. How many of you have an ivory carving, or bone cutlery. I keep a few small skulls I have... um found, yeah found, on my desk at home. Those of you in the states, does anyopne have a stuffed head of an animal that you killed on the wall, or do any of you wear leather.

Using whats left of a corpse, be it human or cow, is just practical.

Edit, I have just quoted you Sect, I am not refering to you in the bulk of the post.

I dont think I stand alone when I say...

BRING IT ON

*Tents fingers and grins*

(and yes I know this adds nothing helpful to the argument, but I might repost when I finish work)

I know you're probably more concerned with planning the next few APs (and what edition they might be in), but have you thought about this?

Yes, we have indeed thought about this.

The Korvosa gazetteer will be, in a lot of ways, a 64-page player's handout. (Well, there WILL be a chapter of GM secrets, but the bulk of the book will be Player Friendly.)

Likewise, the Golarion gazetteer will have lots of player info in there.

And now and then, we'll have sections in Pathfinder that are suitable for players as well, such as Pathfinder #2's chapter on Desna.

And yes, there are more player-oriented things on the horizon as well... stuff I'm not allowed to say much about.

Can I just say once more, that I am always suprised at the speed in which the editors/writers and publishes reply to posts on these forums. No where else can you get such personal service.

Very Very cool. Sounds almost REH inspired.

Man, I just feel like *finally* a company is getting it right.

Stuff I wanted, Stuff I didn't even know I wanted - Hell, I haven't seen a single thing yet that I'm not completely geeked over.

Well done you crazy Paizo kids. Keep up the good work.

Here here. And to have the writers/publishers/ed's respond to us as they do is unmatched. Very well done.

Paizo and Proud ;)

The pathfinder AP is looking to be awesome. Well written adventures that offer something a little more than the standard. Who else has the lowly goblins causing so much trouble.

The art work is great, the campaign setting seems to be well fleshed out. The quality of the binding and printing is excellent.

I am not getting the "mature" side of it. I guess I am used to watching sex, drugs and death on the 6pm news and prime time soaps so to me a mature topic is a little more debauched than a bisexual or a brief romantic interlude with an npc. I am thinking more along the lines of something Malchantet would do...

~grins~ Sweet idea. I was thinking about getting the Ptolus book. Is it worth buying? (~thinks about how many more books I can add to my house before the fire marshal cracks down on me~)

More so than anything else on this planet...
