Background:

Piper is a reclusive gnome who much prefers to spend her time in the comfort of her shop or her arcane laboratory. However as the Bleaching began to set in, her doctor insisted she search out new experiences to stave it off.

Appearance and Personality:

Piper is already somewhat pale in color, being subject to the beginnings of the Bleaching. She has no interest in adventuring for its own sake, but only as a treatment for her condition, and so remains aloof from the Society's goals of exploration and discovery. She would much rather be at home with her books.
