About Phoebus
Phoebus was an adventurer who died while exploring a dungeon in the Cairn Hills on the world of Oerth. His party had no access to resurrection magic, so they had him reincarnated instead. He returned as a lizardman. After several years of trying to adjust to living as a lizardman, Phoebus went into retreat and became a hermit in a swamp, where he mastered the art of spirit communcation. He spent the next decade aiding and supporting the various denizens of his swamp, but he eventually tired of the lifestyle. One day he stumbled upon some half-sunken ruins and while exploring them accidentally transportted himself to the World Serpent Inn. He discovered he enjoyed the Inn, where his form doesn't raise an eyebrow. He works as a bouncer for Mitchifer, keeping the common room dispute free.
