I was looking through the description of Sleep and I realized that I had missed something. The two that I missed are also slowed, but do not pass out on a failed save. My bad.
I'll post these now since I'm not sure when I'll get another chance today. Perigia casts sleep in K15. All rolls are vs will. 1d20+3 [1,3] = (4) vs K7, 1d20+3 [4,3] = (7) vs. K1, 1d20+3 [20,3] = (23) vs. K2,
1d20+3 [12,3] = (15) vs. K3, 1d20+3 [12,3] = (15) vs. K6. Any who are hit are slowed (save ends), 1st failed saving throw and they are unconcious (save ends).
Rev DM wrote: Perigia, make a roll against Kobold 1 as well please. On the off chance that it makes out of Brujo and Fairwind's clutches alive, your fireball will hit it since it will be next to Kobold 2 at that point. 1d20+2=12 for Kobold 1.
Perigia moves to G8 and casts Burning Hands which envelops K2 and K7. 1d20+2=19 to hit the first one, and 1d20+2=14 for the second. 2d6+4=13 fire damage.
Start at H5, id20+3=14 for init.
Edit: I forgot about Caine too. 16 for init.
Not even close, 1d20+2=11.
"Very well," Perigia says as she starts to walk towards Clewsoro's camp.
That is Perigia's plan at least.
"I would like to hear more about these cloaked figures. Can you take me to the man who told you of them?"
Rev DM wrote:
He asks if you would be interested in accompanying him as he goes in search of his next restoration project.
"In fact, if it would not be deemed insulting, I was wondering if you would be prepared to help me. I'm not as strong as I was and to be honest, I've never had much skill at building. But one does what one can, you see. Perhaps the Lady may yet appear and tell me how to reconcile my sons." "I will help where I can," Perigia said. "What is it that you need?"
"If you could show me to a bed, I would appreciate it," Perigia said.
Rev DM wrote: Leo the half elven Paladin wrote: This may sound absurd but do we recognise who the monastery is dedicated to as in what deity? If required Leo will make a Religion check which rolled a 11+6 for 17 to dientify which faith the Sister and the Monastery follows. Sister Cherra notices Leo examining the building for signs of any specific dedication.
"Ours is not a holy order as such. We do not serve a deity, merely those who seek the advice and prophecies of the Lady Saharel. Allendi is our master and can explain more of our history if you are interested. But come, your wounded need attention."
Her attention is drawn back to Perigia's horse, where Devlin is beginning to come around and is moaning theatrically. "that man is our prisoner, not a wounded comrade," Perigia tells the priestess. "If you are going to treat him, be warned that he is extremely dangerous."
"I am afraid they were not bandits sister," Perigia says as she follows the priestess inside. "We were attacked by Thayan mercenaries."
I will have limited access to a computer this weekend, so move on without me if you need to.
Brujo wrote:
I think that was a joke. Brujo will be walk ing with Harrak to the monastery. Hopefully there's someone/thing to turn if over to. Tis true, it was a joke. Perigia will strap him to her horse, making sure that Devlin's hands and feet are secured, should he wake up.
Brujo wrote: "Why wouldn't they wnat to stay in the monastery", Brujo asks with a puzzled look on his his. "I would think staying inside would be perferable to staying out." "Agreed. A warm bed would be a true delight," Perigia says.
Rev DM wrote:
How are you transporting Devlin?
I thought we were leaving him tied up for the wolves. ;p
"That makes sense to me," Perigia says. "There could be more hunters on their way right now."
"Quiet," Perigia tells Devlin. "If it had not been for you, this man's brother would still be alive. Among my people your life would be his for the taking."
1d20+2=18 for Perception
Perigia moves to F12 and peppers dark eyes with another round of magic missiles. 1d20+4=15 vs. Ref. 2d4+4=9 damage, Arcane, Force, Implament
"It seems we have them on the run," She shouts to the others.
Perigia shifts to F16 and casts Ray of Frost on Allan. 1d20+4=19 vs. Fort, 1d6+3=5 cold damage, and he is slowed until the end of Perigia's next turn. (Arcane, Cold, Implament)
"Not at all," Perigia say as she passes Fairwind. To Cronin she shouts, "try turning the hound!"
Perigia casts Magic Missile at the dark eyed spellcaster.
1d20+4=13, fabulous. Just in case damage is 2d4+4=8, Arcane, Force, Implament
Rev DM wrote: Perigia wrote: Perigia moves to D17 and casts Sleep in A14. 1d20+4=20 vs. Will. If the attack hits the target is slowed (save ends), if they fail their first save they fall unconcoius (save ends). If they attack misses they are slowed (save ends). It is Burst 2 within 20 and the descripters are Arcane, Implament, and Sleep. It should hit just the twins if I have aimed it right.
"You boys look tired," Perigia says to the twins, "Maybe you should sit this one out."
D17 is occupied by Cronin. D16 works though. I'm happy for you to cast at A13, since I can't believe Perigia wants to knock out her horse. You have a clear hit on either Farrak or Harrak, but need to roll for the other one. Once you've done that, I'll clear up the remainder of the round, sort out Leo's actions, summarise and we'll go into Round 2. 1d20+4=18 for the other one.
Rev DM wrote:
Fairwind, Cronin, Leo, Brujo, Chryzylyx and all definitely get the +7 temporary hp and +1 to defences, I'm not totally certain about Perigia, but am prepared to allow it.
No Perigia is just outside the effect.

Geleri Fairwind wrote: "Now hush up, girl, don't go frighten' our friends with the 'd' word." "If they put their weapons away and agree to move on, I will apologize," Perigia says, "but I cannot stand anyone spooking my horse."
Rev DM wrote: Cronin's initiative should be 17. He gets a +2 from Commander's Caine's inspiring presence. As do you all. Leo has already rolled and has a 10 I believe. 8+3+2 from Caine=13. That seems about right."I would recommend that you move on as well," Perigia said as her szuldar begin to glow brightly. "I would regret if this misunderstanding resulted in your death."
Perigia looks at the newcomers uncertainly. "I guess it's okay, If Caine and Leo agree," she says, defering to the more experienced of her group.
1d20+2=22 for Perciption, 1d20+8=28 for Insight to sense anything unusual about the newcomers. Much better luck that time.
Rev DM wrote: How does J17 for Perigia and C16 for the horse look to you? I'll compile a list of amendments before I update. Looks good to me.
Perigia is more towards the center of camp, having just handed Brujo a cup of tea. I had also envisioned that her horse would be closer to the trees.
Perigia pulls a cup and some tea out of her pack, and pours some water into the glass. Using another minor spell she warms the water and offers it to Brujo. "Some tea might warm you up and help you to relax," she tells him.
Perigia is near Cronin and Brujo
Brujo wrote: "Ah good. Than Thank you for your generousity, but I must be on my way", Brujo stands to leave, but his sore, aching body disagrees. "On seceond thought it shouldn't hurt to stay here for a bit."
"Who's hunting me? Depends how 'they' hired to do it that day. But to answer your question I am being hunted by member of the Dread Legion." The foul name rolls off his tongue as a curse.
"I know not who this "dread legion" is, but I will stand by you if you will have me," Perigia tells the strange individual.
"Yes," Perigia said. "Can you tell us who or what is hunting you?"
"If she can help me find my sister, I don't care how strange she is," Perigia says after listening. "However, I am also willing to help the poor widow, if that is what you wish to do as well. In either case, perhaps we should make plans to relocate from here, just in case what ever was chasing our guest decides to show up?"
Rev/Cronin
Perigia watched as her new companions slipped into the darkness. Gripping her staff she said, "perhaps my skills will be needed as well." With that she stood and followed the shifter into the night.
Stealth 18+3=21, Perception 11+3=14
"I feel that we are not alone," Perigia says to the others. "Perhaps we should investigate."
Cronin wrote: Commander Caine wrote: Caine then starts to take out some of the trail food he has with him. "Dried meat and hard trail bread, anyone?" Caine offers. "A kindness, Caine," Cronin answers. He selects a small piece of Caine's meat, completing the ritual, and gestures invitingly to the jerkies he had already spread out.
"The fire is most welcome, Perigia."
Cronin is on the small side for a shifter. He wears chainmail under a battered traveling cloak, and no obvious weapons. A silver medallion bears the symbol of Selune, which some might consider an odd choice for one of his race. "Thank you. I only wish I had more to offer. I am not used to life on the trail. I have spent most of my life with my head in musty old tomes and scrolls," Perigia tells the shifter.

Cronin wrote: Leo the half elven Paladin wrote: Geleri Fairwind wrote: "Well met, mind if I join you folks?" she asks of the people in general. "Well met indeed, it seems this storm is indeed an omen of some portent. And welcome there should be plenty of shelter here," Leo greets her The small shifter looks about the group that has joined him. "And well met. Blessings of Selune on you all, though we cannot see Her this night."
Cronin sits near Chryzylyx and opens his own back, bringing out some jerky. "Thank you, friend elf. But let us not share meat with strangers. I am Cronin." Realizing that sleep would not come soon, the fair haired wizard got up and walked over to the small clump of people. "Selune's blessing to you all," she said. Gathering a small clump of sticks together she put them in a circle in a dry spot under the trees. "I have only enough food for myself, but I will offer the gift of warmth this chill evening." With a few uttered words and some minor gestures a small flame appeared among the sticks and soon had grown to a small but warming fire. "My name is Perigia."
Prodding her horse towards the trees, Perigia mumbeled to herself. The very essence of fire sang in her blood, and yet it could not keep her warm and dry in a rainstorm. If she was ever going to learn to master her ties to nature and the arcane, and locate her missing sister, she would have to learn to endure such hardships. Finally reaching the trees, she tied up her horse and plopped down in a slightly less damp portion of the grove. Hoping that the rain would end soon, she pulled her cloak around herself and tried to get a few moments of sleep.
Here is my character Perigia. Let me know if you need anything else for her stats. I do have one problem. I could not find where it says how many rituals a wizard starts with. May be I'm just dense and missed it, but can anyone help me with that?
