Seeing the Aldren between the ladies go down, Perdition switches his attention back the the ones still engaging his other companions. Firing off another round of innate fire at the one attacking Karlan.
Moving to aid the ladies, Perdition points a gnarled finger at the Aldren between them and lets loose a searing beam of fire.
Perdition moves quickly to cover Karlan with a wall of flame in hopes of driving back the massing attackers. "Hope this doesn't freak the fella out.", the gnome thinks to himself as he grips his rod of selective casting.
Perdition smiles and lets loose with a ray of flame. Seeking to hit the nearest Aldren first, he bears down on the one directly in front of him.
"You guys think that those things might have been gargoyles? Little bastards are always such a pain the rear. Had a debate with one in Abaslom with one once. Never wrong those ones."
"YIPEE!!"
Perdition rushes to follow Harry and again is distracted by a peculiar looking hole formed by the crashing bell instead of watching his step.
Looking quite a bit worse for the wear, Perdition manages a squeak and a thumbs up as he searches for a healing potion.
Distracted by a strange looking knot in the wood, Perdition fails to even pay attention to the falling bell.
Perdition slides his potion brace pack in his pack and moves to follow Harry.
Pulling a little bandolier of viles from his pack, Perdition looks them over whilst sitting upon the body of the felled monster. "Hmmmm, where did you get off t'...ah! Here we go! I have three of these little beauties. Not much, but better than nothing. They should at least close your most dangerous wounds." Holding three viles of shimmering green liquid, Perdition offers them up with a smile and says, "Please. Enjoy."
Perdition wanders on over to where HArry is and puts an eyeball on the itmes the scarecrow possesses. "Hmmmmmmm..let's see here.",he says.
Perdition holds back to see how things are going to progress now that Harry is as large as the beast they battle. Moving about, the gnome seeks to stay out of the way till needed.
"Guess he was beeter off holding the far tool.", Perdition says in a matter fact tone.
"It seems to be communicating. Maybe we sould try to capture it?
"On it!"
"You want me to put you on equal footing with him?"
Perdition takes his opportunity to bring yet another pit into being beneath the behemoth. "Stand Clear!"
"Move back out of the room!", Perdition yells as he fires off a blast of oil onto the monster's weapon. Quickly retreating for the doorway, sets himself to aid his friends.
Enve in the heat of battle, Harry's "distractions" amuse Perdition a great deal.
Perdition says nothing and unleashes a blast of colorful patterns.
"Starting a fire is no problem, but it took a full blast of my strongest spell and laughed. If you throw it in there, I will get lit."
"I doubt it will work. Ya gotta have a brain to fall for my tricks. But, I should be able to keep him in that hole for a while longer." Waiting to see how the next moments go for the golem, Perdition mulls over his next action.
"I seem to remember that my flames will be of little use against this fiend as are most offensive magics. Either we do this the old fashion way or we get out of here now."
RD2 Following the bard's lead, Perdition targets the massive weapon in the construct's hands. Thrusting out his hands a spray of shiny grease coats the handle of the great scythe.
"He'll be dowm there a good bit. Probably a minute or two,hehehe. I wouldn't get too close to that edge though, Karlan. See how the sides slope? They might suck you in, too.", Perdition says with a satisfied look on his face.
"Well, I am all out of ideas.", Perdition says as he cast mage armor on himself and moves back from the pit. Scratching his chin he looks at the golem he tries to remember what he has heard of the creatures in his travels. "It seems I have seen one of these before...."
Letting loose a scorching blast of flame from his hands, a maniacal laugh erupts from his mouth as his eyes go black like some great shark's.
"Come and get it, big boy.", Perdition says as he prepares his next attack.
Ripping a small shovel from his pocket, Perdition rips a hole in this plane directly below the beast. "GOLEM!!!!!", he says as he bounds back a couple of paces.
"He can take the fun out of every experience..., Perditiion whispers to Harry as they creep around the room.
Perdition shadows the half-orc looking for a reason to light up the first threat he sees.
Moving quickly to Harry's side a furious grin splits his face. Nodding excitedly the gnome begins to eminate bits of ember from his hands as he calls up his soul fire for ready use.
Taking up his new magical device in his hands , the gnomes eyes narrow on the door the old bum is pointing to. "We going in hot or cold, Harry?"
Just to ensure that the jokers in the shadows are knowing what they are dealing with, Perdition puts on a little show of force. Letting loose with a little elemental fire to light his pipe.
"Yes, yes I do suppose we should get this dullness out of the way,my dear wife.", he says almost laughing at this last bit.
