(Male Human Warmain 1)

"I'll try to cut this thug off" mutters Pendrick; slipping away from the group. "Fancy a jog through the city Keiva - might help clear up yer cough?"
yay! racing around this neighborhood at night with a giant sword, what could go wrong? Huh, now MY nose is running too
hope you guys are okay with this? I realize Pendrick is looking for trouble AND splitting up the party... So Pendrick will race off into the night, looking for the quickest way to the far side of the wooden wall at the end of the alley

(Male Human Warmain 1)

does Pendrick have some idea of the 'lay of the land' here? Is sprinting off in hopes of finding the other side of the wooden wall a possibility?

(Male Human Warmain 1)

Pendrick would like to try to get over the gate, but he doesn't know where he is or who is in front of him. If someone is in front of Pendrick, can he move through their square and then climb the gate?
Pendrick looks around. Hey, bats! Wait, focus...focus

(Male Human Warmain 1)

Pendrick wanders in place, staggered from the explosion. After taking inventory of his body parts he nods wide-eyed and in a squeaky voice exclaims:
"yeah...shouldn't. play. with. urrgh. magic."

(Male Human Warmain 1)

i rolled a 2! +1 = 3. Eight points of subdual damage it is.

(Male Human Warmain 1)

"Hang on for a second while I hurdle this fence and give you a good stabbing" cries Pendrick, rushing forward Ceremoniously, jumping high against the fence and pulling himself over one-handed before continuing on his way towards the thug.

using a combat ritual level one to increase movement speed by 10' this round. My roll for jump - Pendrick needs to jump 2' in order to reach the top of the gate and pull himself up, but he'd like to try and jump higher in order to make the one-handed pull-up a little easier-jump:d20 (12+4+4(speed 40')-1)=19 Climb:d20 (6+7-1)=12 oops

(Male Human Warmain 1)

9+1-1=9 for sneak check; initiative:17+1=18

(Male Human Warmain 1)

Pendrick watches the Witch and her protector sneaky-speedwalk past him and grins.
"Scouts Out" he chuckles to himself, moving so he is 20' across from the opening to the alley.

surprise dm post between starting and finishing the above sentence

(Male Human Warmain 1)

"Let's all try to keep the chatter to a minimum, and ah, maybe to a language we ALL speak?"
"But yeah, Tzu, Keiva, why don't you wait here, chances are this is just some old buddies of mine on 'City Business' anyway"
While he addresses the Faen and the Littoran Pendrick is subtly shaking his head while trying to catch Shekebbet's eye, pointing at the alley and then making a drawing motion across his own throat when he does.
He continues to move forward, trying to be silent, but not bothering to hide.
if anything Pendrick would like to be noticed before Shekebbet.

(Male Human Warmain 1)

which Guardsmen are working down here? Grilig and Tommari I think. Good chance that's them 'protecting the innocent'

"Aww, I was really looking forward to hearing more rhymin' from you Soren".
Pendrick turns and moves with Shekebbet - his sword gone from scabbard to hands unconsciously.
"Let me know what you can see, my eyes aren't the best even in full daylight"

oops.

(Male Human Warmain 1)

Read the fine print? I didn't SEE any fine print!

that's a no.

no

no

no

(Male Human Warmain 1)

Does Monte Cook acknowledge a debt to Steven R. Donaldson for inspiration?
Oathsworn and Giants are almost identical to Giants and some sort of Oath bound martial artists in the Thomas Covenant books

(Male Human Warmain 1)

I live!

Thanks to Set...I copied your formatting vigorously! In the process I finally learned how to use spoiler and other tags.

Spoiler:
boo!

Although this one isn't working in preview, hope it works when I post.
Bit of a buzz-kill.
