Historically, the family have a long connection and respect for the forest and the creatures (and spirits) that live there.

In Pavla's case this manifests itself as insatiable curiosity about the forest and the things that live there. The brightest in her musclebound family by some way, Pavla has spent most of her life waiting for the chance to prove that brain is just as good as brawn. Her strange ability to throw things around when she gets angry helps of course.

Trappings. She needs to be angry or upset to do her psionic thing, as she has no understanding of how it happens. In combat of course that's easy - fear being a strong emotion. If the situation ever arises where she has to control what she does, the process will be longer and more difficult.
