Sorry we've been quiet. Lots going on and we're both having difficulty catching up. Trying to work out which spoilers we should be reading etc.. a little odd. Could our kind DM give us a quick rundown of what we're doing and why. I promise we'll jump back into posting when we can work out what it is we're doing :)

With great regret i have to ask you to cancel my subs. However i must say i love all your stuff which is why my wife is taking up the subs where i leave off. In fact she's even got them in her in basket already. Basically she's stealing my tags from me but there we go.

Hi Vic that's an interesting insight. I'm guessing i'm also in the manual queue then. Well that or at the end of the automated one :)

I'm currently paying for my title stupidity.. My wife gets our AP subscription as she was charter and i get the rest.. all so she can keep that title.. This is fine but she's taunting me with the AP Pdf but still pending for me and the other shiny books.. *sulks*

The pace is grand and the interactions are fun. It would be great to get a little more direction in goals for the group but you can see that is coming :) In all it's a great game so keep up the good work Dan.

I've been pottering through the boards and i've just noticed that the next two modules now have release dates for October. Is this correct? It's not much of an issue but that is pushing things to 5 books in October which is straining things a little.

I know this isn't exactly what you're after but will this be a Golorian character? If so then you could possibly work on something linked to the background of Hermea as they would so want him. He'd be a paragon of their culture.

I'd love to see the whole Art of the Duel line of feats make it in to PRPG. I think this article was probably the best article rules addition to the game I've seen, and there was lots of great stuff in Dragon over the years.

I have to agree with this.. It's a great article and one that i'm itching to make a character to use. Out DM for CoTCT has modified some NPC's to make use of it and even though the encounters were difficult it was great to see.

The group that i'll be running PFS for was round last night trying to work out characters and a couple of things came up. Kindly one of my usual players has offered to swap off DMing with me with one of us running a scenario each a month. However I'll be buying them all and giving him the PDF he'll be running without opening it. I just wanted to check that from downloading them that doesn't associate them with my player account in some odd way. Kinda stupid question I know but i'd like to be certain.

The other thing is my player's appear to have lots of love when it comes to the faction feats. It is possible to take more than 1 at first level isn't it? As long as you use your standard feat allocation to take them that is.

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

I know you've had lots of stuff going on but I was wondering.. are you gonna get a chance to post with the twins soonish? Or do you just want to kind of jump them ahead timewise in a they are sorting things out kind of way.

As I said it really isn't an issue for me at all I just noticed it and thought it was really quite odd :) I have all the products i'm supposed to so nothing wrong at all as far as that goes. Thanks for the quick response.

I've just noticed something a little strange about my subs. On my Chronicles subscription the most recent item is still down as item 4 the Harrow Deck.. As i recently got my Darkmoon Vale guide in the post and have been happily reading my Hardcover PDF i'm pretty sure this isn't the case. As I said it's not a problem at all but it does seem a little strange. Also i'm guessing my second darkness subscription is still just pending as it's near the end of the list for shipping. I'm really in no rush for it as my wife got hers from her adventure path subscription so i'm more than happy to wait.

Hmm probably not the best idea really but kinda tempting.. Still all the best in the world of British education. Hopefully it will increase the odds of you being at various Britcons although I think my players might get worried that such a twisted person is on our shores.

So Nick does that mean those of us in the UK can arrange the much anticipated fight to the death between your fine self and Mr Pett? Is this little country big enough for these two twisted people?

This was mentioned on the product discussion thread for Guide to Darkmoon Vale. I understand there was a problem with some subscriptions and them getting sent out and I was wondering when this is likely to be resolved. I'm hoping to start a game in the area this weekend and would love to get my pdf before then. Is there any update on when this might be shipped?

I know this is probably unlikely but are we likely to see anything on this Goddess before the Campaign Setting in August? It's just that my group is looking into converting Savage Tide to Golorian and well Pirate Queen! It would be rude to not have a cleric of Besmara in their somewhere.

Portsmouth D&D... I know that the Uni has a RPG Society going and as far as i'm aware there is another group that was around as well. My friends and I are in Portsmouth but our group is sometimes too big to handle anyway at the moment :)

Apart from that i'd suggest you head to Southsea Models and see if there can be any help there.

Hmm that looks interesting. I doubt we'll get to the stage where i would look at prestige classes :) for what i'd go for we'd need to be about 7th level. Windwright Captain from the explorer's book would fit very well though.

Well Kay has decided that if we want more of Wren’s diary that some of the rest of us in the group need to write some stuff as well. Being her husband it looks like it will fall to me. With that in mind I present a sort of diary for Tal the young man who has the pleasure of being Wren’s partner in crime.

This isn’t so much an actual written diary but more a telling of events to a group of ex-Lambs the pair have ‘adopted’ and will take the form of lessons and if the guys happen to not be able to get to Old Korvosa for any reason a series of coded letters.

Still I guess I’d best start with a little bit of history for Tal. So without further ado here is his rough background.

History

The only memories that Tal has from before his life as a lamb are of a soft voice and rocking. A sense of love is about it for his early life before he came into the life of a street kid.

Tal didn't even know his name being so young when he was taken. Still under the tender ministrations of a hateful old man he soon earned one. Talen he was called as he showed a talent for snatching things whilst in flight. Mostly flight from the guard but flight none the less.

Growing up as a 'Little Lamb' was a strange experience. Often praised for the income he brought Tal was also commonly beaten to within an inch of his life. Unfortunately as well as his quick hands and feet he was also gifted with a quicker tongue. Insulting the handlers of the lambs and pointing out their flaws was seldom appreciated by anyone other than his fellow lambs.

The main bright spot in his life was the first face he properly remembers, a pretty blonde girl who had been given the name of Wren, a girl that gave him the first meal in his new world.

Tal and Wren were constant companions and always looked out for each other. That was until Lamb found out she'd been learning about the gods. He beat her, broke her holy symbol and left her for dead.
The joy in his life left at that point. As soon as he was able to skim enough to strike out on his own Tal left his life with the lambs to become an independent dancer. He did well for himself and managed to eke out a comfortable place for himself in Old Korvosa.

A few years ago however the routine he'd settled into was broken. A quick flight away from an overly paranoid customer brought Tal into a collision with one of the sacred ladies of the Goddess Calistria. For once he was lost for words, that familiar angry look, he'd found his Wren once more.

As soon as they were clear they managed to get themselves re-acquainted and in short order decided that they didn't want to risk loosing each other again. Digging out his stash and faking a more respectable identity for himself Tal, or Talrae to his neighbours, settled into a house in South Shore with the Lady Wren of Calistria.
That was around two years ago but it seems like they weren't destined to settle down. Fate has recently given them the opportunity to get a little revenge.

Hmm things appear to be sitting in the sidecart for me still... There also still isn't an option on my subscriptions for shipping method on Chronicles. Is it just my order being low in the run for shipping subscriptions or could this be holding it up?

I know it's probably nothing but on my subscriptions for pathfinder modules there is no shipping option. This seems a little odd... also i'm really looking forward to the next module and guess i'm getting impatient.

Aww could I possibly have a dog? Faithful ol hunting hound maybe? It's ok if not but would be pretty cool.

In that case I believe I shall have him come from Highport as that has about the right mix of good hunting and wealth :)

Cool. Would there be a place for something like the kennel man type role? I kinda like the idea of the expert who is quite good at hunting and trains Moonshae hunting hounds. That kind of thing. Possible for an important person or maybe not and i would like to make it almost middle aged rather than standard starting age if that would be ok?

Hmm i'm interested in playing in a pbp. Never done it before but i'd like to try and besides my wife Kayos mentioned she was doing this and i might never get her attention otherwise :)

Actually I kid on that but we rarely get to RP together with characters as we both DM for our group in turns. If it was ok i think i might be tempted to play a commoner or an expert. I have many ideas so if you're happy for me to be involved i'll get to making one of them into something character shaped.

Wow it's been a long time since this has been looked at... Still we finally got round to finishing off Burnt Offerings last night so the wife should be able to actually post the latest entry. Damn those players and not being able to get together for so long.

Depending on our group there might be another game or possibly two before Christmas. The player of Deivon isn't around during the holidays and well it's Kayos's birthday too in that time so there might be a small break but never fear these guys are enjoying it so there should be regular updates.

Their might be a little delay in the next entry as our dancer probably isn't in too much of a writing mood after the last game.

Ah yes that would make sense. I'm happy to wait till January as we'll only get in a couple more games before then anyway :)

Thanks again. Oh and I'm guessing that the fact my subscription shows Guardians of Dragonfall as next is due to Carnival of Tears coming real soon?

Apparently this is going to be done tomorrow! She's promised and everything... I might even refuse to run a game for her till she does and i know she want's the next pathfinder session at the weekend :)

My copy of Gallery of Evil was shipped on the 4th of October and it's still not arrived.. Entombed with the Pharaohs has arrived a week again so i think this one is pretty much lost. I guess the UK postal strike ate it. Any help would be appreciated.

One of my players is using the Battledancer from the Dragon Compendium. It's kinda cool as she's playing a Varisian so normally looks all gypsy dancer.. Until she kicks someone in the head. Apart from that and its all pretty basic in my game.

Tsk I run a game for them and two days afterwards they still haven't updated their journals... For shame. The game was kinda fun tho.

Well for one I think James 'Poppins' Jacobs and the rest of the guys at the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Paizo are doing a superior job. Mostly though I think that WoTc can afford to do online suppliments as they are backed by Hasbro and have a rather larger staff and bankroll than Paizo.

Writers whilst not being paid that well do tend to like being paid and i'd guess that the salary would work out kinda high.. Still thank you for reminding me of Mary Poppins and giving me the oppertunity to try out the smurf thing.

My copy of Gallery of Evil was shipped on the 04 October and I still haven't recieved it yet (shipping to the UK). We've recieved some of the other things that were shipped at a similar time (my wife has the pathfinder subscription.. weird way of doing it I know) and her Pathfinder 2 arrived a couple of weeks ago. Just thought i'd check and see when I need to worry :)
