"Snakes, I love snakes..."
Pae enjoys some food.
Pae Shudders a little before he speaks, "Gn-Gnolls don't scare me...I can scout the market."
"Oh this oughta be good..." Pae says in response to Bahir's revelation...as he sheathes his blade and coils his whip, ready for anything.
Pae, draws forth his scorpion whip while he steps back, then strikes out with the whip 1d20 ⇒ 11-3 = 8 though the whip strikes the air where the creature was, a wholly ineffective strike.
So Pae is holding both weapons but he'll only be attacking with one or the other, not with both. He had moved to 15' distance.
As the exploration continues...
Init(+4): 1d20 ⇒ 12+4=16
Pae rises after his long rest. "well looks like we have more work to do...first though, food! and I need to see to my weaponry."
"Of course, let's finish it."
Pae will hide behind one of the others, to perhaps surprise anything behind the door...
Sneak: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Pae looks up at the broken tower and thinks, now there's a challenge to climb
Pae will skulk behind the party.
Sneak: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
"Purification by fire? I think we need the building intact..."
Pae will seek some hidden location to get a good shot from... (IC is down if you wouldn't mind rolling)
post was eaten.
I snuck, and shot for an attempted sneak attack. 19 (7+12) sneak. 20 to hit and 1+5 dmg.
(don't have enough time to rewrite the whole thing atm)
Sorry, I was lax, thought we had cleared it!!!
Acrobatic slide under as they're about to shoot.
more pugs he says, at a run...
16 not good enough huh? I thought someone was coming after me?
luckily I should have lots of cover.
"I got company!" Pae shouts as he ducks back around the corner, and hauls butt back to the others. 1d20=11+4=15
Good call on the unluck, it's pretty cumbersome in PbP.
Perception: 1d20+6=23
Stealth: 1d20+12=16
Pae pokes his head around the corner. Hand crossbow tracking with his eyes.
Pae will head for the kitchen/pantry area (I think that's what it is on the map.)
Pae begins to scout the other rooms, trying to find stragglers.
Agreed, that was unluck was not fun...
Pae takes a moment to restring his hand crossbow.
1d20-3=-2, 1d20-3=151d3+1=2
"Foul creature..."
well I either threw my scorpion whip across the room, or I lashed the prone pug with it if the zone is down...(I hope I'm out of range). I'll let you describe the action...
did Pae lose his whip? If he didn't he'll take off after the fleeing pug and attempt to trip it with his whip again.
WOOT!
1d20=19, 1d20=18+3=21
With his whip in his left hand and his rapier in his right, Pae attempts to trip one of the pugs...1d20+3=18, 1d20+3=6 and will most likely have to drop his whip...(i can't wait to be done with these cursed buggers, so much for halfling luck)
Pae was a pretty easy conversion...not much changed with haflings...
Efreet should be able to keep his scimitar as a trait...
I think I will add any martial/simple weapon in my game will be available as a trait. It's only a single weapon, heh.
How high up in the rafter is the king? within reach of my socrpion whip perhaps?
Pae's patience finally pays off as he closes with the descending pugwumpi and skewers it.
Mechanics
Pae curses the sand and reloads his hand crossbow, and lets another bolt fly...
Mechanics: 1d20+5=6, 1d20+5=19
the lower one is a natural 1...so critical fail it if you want...
Pae sees the falling cloth as it begins to fall and easily ducks out of the way
Pae now sees the leader, reloads while he heads for darker areas and launches another shot.
Mechanics:
I really, really hate that unlucky ability
Bah, my post got eaten last night
I look up into the rafters trying to see if I can spot the leader
Pae thinks he spots him but it turns out to be a pugwumpi...so I'll shoot at that instead.
Mechanics:
Paellat welcomes the lack of light as the flames die away...he makes for the shadows and begins to sneak toward the one ordering the 'wumps. He doesn't notice the piece of fallen timber on the ground in front of him as he kicks it.
damn, hope the din of the wumpi chatter is enough to mask that noise he thinks to himself.
Sneak: 1d20=3+12=15, 1d20=13+12=25
Pae will sheath his rapier, then draw and load his hand crossbow.
woo, fun turn.
"Watch the fires guys, we're supposed to recapture this building, not burn it to the ground..."
Pae looks around to see if there are any of the little buggers in range to attack.
I will draw my rapier, dropping my hand crossbow as I move toward the gnoll skull hangings...I wil then attempt to cut it down, hopefully forcing the creatures out of the rafters.
1d20=16 and the second roll ....1d20=1
but instead Pae stumbles on his dropped hand crossbow, and fails to get anywhere near the rope.
this bad luck sucks!
Pae will advance slowly at the rear...whip ready to trip...
Monastery
now everyone should be able to read it. =D
wanders back to his own thread...seriously I didn't notice the cross-threading that that post did, it was supposed to go to another game I'm playing in...
"I've got a bad feeling about this..."
and....#3 attempt to post this today...
Pae sneaks up to the wall and begins to scout...
Stealth:1d20=4+12=16
good thing for all those bonuses...sheesh
Adventure and pay...what more could Paellat ask for?
"Done", says Pae as he spits in his hand and offers it heartily, an immense smile splits his face.
I wish! Had I not lost my job last year, and had to take a lesser paying job, I most likely would have been all over PaizoCon! Maybe I can make PaizoCon III!!! I'm even missing ComicCon this year, first time in the last 10 years =(
Pae thinks about the situation...
"That's possibly the only thing that scares me, robbing me of my luck..." Pae states bluntly...
then bursts out in laughter.
"I agree, the goat may not last another assault."

Pae judges the distance, and attempts to move closer to get a "good" shot (and by good shot I mean sneak attack
Pae draws and loads his hand crossbow, recurls his scorpion whip and stows it on his belt as he hears Daumari's warning...
Paellat feels his minors scratches heal. Much better he thinks
