Mask

Kurgand: "Thankee, I heard me ancestors calling...thought I was gone fer sure!"

Delwyn heals those critically injured, then says. "We'll need to rest, and soon"

You guys almost bit it on that one, take a CR9 encounter, then fight in the water, that was a huge penalty for you.

Mask

ALIANDARA:

Perception +9 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Aliandara sees Trinia sneaking out of the window directly in front of her.

Aliandara please make whatever announcement you want for noticing her, I just wanted to keep the ball rolling so I rolled your perception

Mask

PAELLAT:

I will often take control of a character during play if they're holding up the show...I have this handy dandy avatar for that...

Also, I'll try to have Paellat ready to go Thursday...hmm that's tomorrow... I'll still try.

She is coming back on Friday :)

"There you are! Yea, right here we think. Marra says she's on the 3rd floor. And you? What did the commander want?"

Aliandara: "later...

HAH! I was leaving it mysterious for a reason!! LOL Having seen Aliandara in action before, I would expect her to take to the roof as a look-out.

"I'll watch the roof, make sure she doesn't skip out on us through a window...someone should watch me from the ground."

Mask

ALIANDARA:

Aliandara appears from behind the building. She appears to have something on her mind...

"Any luck?"

was hoping she'd be back by this point, no biggy.

Mask

KURGAND:

Kurgand attempts to kick out of the grasp of the Chuul.

1d20 ⇒ 14

With the help of the croc, Kurgand is able to kick out of the grasp as it thrashes around

DELWYN: jumped into the water, and swims toward you all...
gingantius he shouts underwater as he touches a wand to Kurgand who also enlarges.

Mask

Kurgand continues his assault using Vital Strike1d20 + 13 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 13 - 2 = 21
1d10 + 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + (8) + 7 = 18

Mask

Haruuc:
Will Save: 1d20 ⇒ 3

And thus you all have a piece of this spirits soul attached to you...LoL

Haruuc pales as the spirit enters him, the blood draining from his face

Mask

Haruuc: stands over the weapons weighing each of them...and repeating "ketchup"...."catsup"..."ketchup"..."catsup"

Mask

Delwyn finally arrives in the room

"Sorry, the raft got caught on the wall, took a minute to clear i...err. what happened here? Kurgand you're bleeding, do you need healing?

Mask

DELWYN: Yes of course, come close my friends, Feel the warmth of Nethys' all encompassing magic.

Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6

Mask

DELWYN: "What did I miss?" Delwyn says as he enters the room with the rest of the delvers. "Harpy...nasty creatures those."

Mask

Hharuuc steps up to stand with Brignat, swinging his flail in a wide arc

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Confirm:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
1d10 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 + 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4=10

Mask

SOLLUS: "Very well Field Marshall, we shall await your courier at the Inn, and by Abadar we shall get the information we need."

trying to get a friend to take over Sollus. I don't feel like running 2 DMPCs, only reason I keep playing Marra is that she's the cahracter I created for the beginning of this AP.

Mask

Drexel: Will Save: 1d20 ⇒ 3

Compelled to advance Drexel strides boldly forward "Akesh Dhakaan! Let's move."

Mask

Fenswalder:

attack with another mind dagger
I 1d10 ⇒ 6
sc 2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3
d 2d10 ⇒ (10, 8) = 18

Garrett:

attack with another arrow
I 1d10 ⇒ 5
missile 1d12 ⇒ 7
d 2d8 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9

Damage for Solonchak's Earth Darts
SC1d6 + 1d8 ⇒ (4) + (7) = 11
1d10 + 1d12 ⇒ (1) + (8) = 9

Mask

Brignat:
Perception 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Mask

Solonchak: Solonchak moves around, and sees a chance to drop a group of stalactites onto the Troll. He steps up and breaks off a chunk of a stalagmite and hurls it at the cavern ceiling above the troll.

Strength: 1d12 ⇒ 5
Dex: 1d6 ⇒ 4

The piece he manages to break off isn't quite sizeable enough to cause any damage though, and harmlessly bounces away. The Troll gives Solonchak a dubious glance, not quite seeing the danger in the action.

Mask

GARRETT: (Hopefully the last post for the puppet, since final Super Star entries are in now.)

Garrett attacks the creature with his dagger from the flank.

Attack: 1d12 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Damage: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 5) + 2 = 11

Initiative: 1d10 ⇒ 9

Mask

Garrett:

Garrett slings his bow, draws his blade and closes with the last cadaver man, not wanting to accidentally shoot his ally.

Mask

Garrett:

Garrett readies and fires another arrow at the closest Cadaver Man. An arrow shaft appears to have sprung from the cadaver man's throat

[Mechanics:]

Spoiler:

ATK: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11
DMG: 2d8 ⇒ (5, 8) = 13
Initiative: 1d10 ⇒ 4
Additional atk die 1d6 ⇒ 2
total attack = 13 dmg=13

Mask

GARRETT: Garrett sneaks closer, draws a bead on one of the cadaver men. It steps to the side just before the arrow strikes.

Spoiler:
Attack: 1d6 ⇒ 2+1d6 ⇒ 1=3

Mask

Izen Chromgully:

"You go on quickly, I will watch over the body of our dead friend"

There, two problems solved. What happened to Izen (game wise) and not holding up the game.

Garrett:
"Keep your eyes open Izen, you don't know what might be out here."

With those words, Garrett turns and leads the others again.

So we have 4 active players, and I'll puppet Garrett until he's done with Superstar! looks like he's going to move on from the exit polls...

Mask

GARRETT:

"We can't do anything for Geleem now. We can however try to save the others. This is no accident, and it's no wild animal...the time for justice is at hand."

Of course in your Journal, you can remember what was said differently.

Mask

PAVO

Pavo looks to his allies, and breaks down..."Field Marshall, may I be given leave to attend to my sister's burial? It's obvious that Marra, Sollus and the others can easily quell the situation. My sister will only be put to rest once."

Mask

Hurskin calls holds his hammer aloft once more, and calls upon the power of Onatar once more, slamming his hammer onto the stone floor it rings loudly as waves of positive energy wash over the zombies.

Mask

Hygiene Officer calls for corpse clean-up.

Mask

Dorran:

After the Korvosan Guardsmen depart, you're left in the presence of the Captain of the watch, one Lieutenant Marrus.

"Hail Captain of the Watch, Dorran Kelvar returning for duty, I was on an authorized leave. I've finally made it back with the assistance of these fellows. We broke up several groups of rioters on the way back and, came into possession of the Queen's lost brooch. So While I report for duty to quell the riots, these fellows need to see the Queen."

A group of obviously vigilant guards armed with heavy crossbows and swords escort you up to the castle. As they reach the top of the pyramid and the wide stairs curling up to the castle’s third floor, where the Crimson Throne awaits, they are greeted by a beautiful woman dressed in magnificent full plate armor—the queen’s handmaiden,
bodyguard, and closest companion: Sabina Merrin.

Dorran quietly talks to the rest of the group. "Sabina was once the protégé of the famed weapons master Vencarlo Orisini, whose family has been influential in Korvosa for generations. Sabina left the school under dubious circumstances after a bitter duel with her former master. Since her departure from Orisini’s academy, she found her way into the Korvosan Guard. Her skills led to a swift rise through the ranks, and her ferocity in battle and her gothic beauty quickly caught Ileosa’s eye. The queen requested Sabina be discharged from the Guard, then quickly reassigned her to her current role as royal bodyguard, handmaiden, and (rumor purports) lover. Whatever Sabina’s actual relationship with Ileosa, she is rarely seen far from the queen’s side."

Mask

Dorran: "Clandru...no...I swear, Clandru, you will be remembered..."

"No time for that now" Dorran states with teary eyes. "Sergeant, we're on our way to the castle, we could use an escort...I need to report in, and these heroes wish to assist their city. I can vouch for their integrity and skill."

Mask

Dorran: "Sergeant, I'm Dorran Kelvar of the Sable Company, have your men help us with this fire."

"Clandru, can you create water as other priests can?" even a little water might help." Dorran shouts.

Mask

DORRAN

Dorran lends his shoulder to the door, there's a loud screeching then the door's movement stops, the cabinet is stuck, but there is now enough room for Sorin to squeeze in.

Nasserath hasn't posted in 16 days, no idea what is going on with him, perhaps he's busy with Comic-Con or something, I hope he's fine, I will NPC him to the castle, during the castle stuff, he'll be easy to lose until he returns as he will be utilized by the Sable Company, unfortunately I was going to use him as the link for a secondary encounter...hope he returns.

Mask

Brignat Shouts from the top of the wall

"Akesh Dhakaani!!"

Then leaps off the wall attempting to tuck and roll with the leap.

Acrobatics: 1d20=18.

Mask

PC Puppet:

Sorin: "No, her Harrow cards aren't in here. There's a nice looking pendant though..."

Sorin:I know it's rough losing your job, so I'll post for ya...good luck with the grievance letters
