Alrighty guys I just picked up an issue of Kobolds of Golarion. Wonderful little boost to my desire to flesh out kobolds in my game. HOWEVER when I hit the section about different kobold colors they mention a translucent scaled kobold... a "ghost" kobold

You can NOT just adventure hook a GM and not give anything else. I want to know more about this rare thing or if it is in fact anything different.

From the presentation it looks like it would be something stealth oriented if not survival. Thoughts?

I am looking for more kobold info since they hinted at something and didnt elaborate but as far as your question goes just look at Metalics and how they pair up to Chromatics. The traits, if your GM isnt a stiffler, leave room for fiddling with since if you wanted to play with both, The red scales and having the gold background is reasonable. Alternitively if you didnt wanna be gold, silver is reasonable and compareable to white. You get the idea. The trait bonus is not important enough for the species of dragon to matter.

It should just say pick one of the Metallic colors....

i am making a monk tiefling and i need to know if i can us the monk d6 damage for the natural attack damage of the tiefleng claws.... the master of many styles monk loses the ability to use flurry of blows and was going to use the 2 natural claws but didnt know if the new damage would apply since he is a monk

alright so there is a big trainwreck over this entire idea. Monsters being monks.

Lets set a more clear cut example of whats happening.

Lets take two monks, exact copies of eachother down to everything but one thing. One just a normal monk human, the other is an adamantium monk golem.

Theroy is that aside from all the immunitys the golems gain there is no diffrence in what they throw out.

NOW we come to the problem. That golem is made of solid adamantium and its punches are going to be significantly more dangerous. First of all its got the adamantium quality of ignoring hardness up to 20, then it has the physics of being solid super metal being made to move with very well trained human speed. A monk of a sertian level can throw punches very fast in reality and if you get a robot in there replicating it exactly I belive your going to have a HUGE diffrence in what happens when it connects.

Now I would like this issue addressed and smoothed out just alittle bit more... As A DM problem solving has to come fast and saying 'no' to that fixes the problem but in my mind the best way to handle that is to treat the unarmed attack the monk makes as if it were made with the natrual weapon, so if it was a claw it would be slashing... only this is done at the monk's unarmed damage benifiting from the "Improved natural attack" feat. Not too broken not entirely robbing but this feels like an area that needs love or attention

Hey i dont know if I just over looked it or if this is an absence of rules but... Dragons in the race builder dont have any options for regular types of energy resistance (i noted one or two that didnt have requirements) but yeah... So if Someone wants to play a baby fire dragon they should beable to play a baby fire dragon who doesnt get cooked by the first burning hands they run into. Lil help?

Intresting thoughts all the same but I am on a 12lv budget for what i can create

Critical Fail Threat!

Could a wood golem be made out of Darkwood?

Now what about Ironwood?

What effects would Ironwood have on them if that does infact work? Upgrade the vulnerability to normal damage? Prevent fire damage at all?

I am not Trying to break the game im just thinking too much

I, too am a bit disappointed in the Construct Armor modification. I think they may have run out of the holy "Word Count," and that bit got shortened to its present state.

An actual entry for the stats of "Construct Armor" would be nice. The entry says that "Construct armor counts as breastplate armor for purposes of determining AC, weight, Dexterity modifiers to AC, and
chance of arcane spell failure."

Rereading the entry seems to indicate that the construct takes damage that is directed at the PC; AoEs are not directed, so both would need to make saves. Luckily for the golem, most are immune to spells that allow saves, but Wzardy McIronman isn't, so AoE is probably the best approach to taking him out.

Since attacks damage the construct, first, that DR is gonna be pretty handy. With an AC equal to only a breastplate, he's gonna be getting hit a lot more than he normally would. Being wrapped around that squishy mortal slows him down a bit.

The sticking point, though, is that the stats don't take the source construct into consideration. An Iron Golem might be your default construct armor, but a Wood Golem shouldn't have the same stats. Nor should a Bone Golem, a Flesh Golem, or a Bronze Golem.

You might want to look at the various special materials available for armor construction and apply them to the final stats for the construct armor based on the closest analog.

In any case, that entire section on constructs really deserves to be expanded into an entire mini-supplement, like maybe "Constructs Revisited," or something. Maybe take another look at the Construct Build Points scattered through Paizo's books.

More construct love!!

Ah ok so I wasnt reading that wrong... they had a slight oversight on what type of golem you might want to get into. I do not belive reduceing the size of an iron golem is going to reduce the amount of protection it gives. There is no reason it should be identical to a wood golem as far as that goes. On the otherhand they should have pointed out that you use the golem for everything else defensive and stuff, like the weakness to aoe for the driver, the golem qualitys, and all that good jaz.

Word limit be damned people, make the room to be clear.

Are you talking about the synthesist summoner archetype? I am not familiar with it I must say other than by description. Aside from that, I am not certain what you are referring to, sorry.

Not at all good sir. This is an opetion area avalible for the Craft Construct feat. Check the Ultimate Magic for more details on it.

alright i just realized that i can walk around in a Mech-suit basicly but for all of what it tells me there is plenty that it doesnt tell me.

When I would take damage the Golem takes it first as if Temporary hitpoints correct? what happens if (god forbid) something does enough damage to go well though those golem hitpoints? Do i take the extra damage? Am i still hit with Aoe? what about spells that dont acctual affect the construct but would effect me?

What if i am wearing an iron golem? I think my AC is going to be a bit more than a breastplate?

Can i have a Bio suit? Like say a flesh golem with the Heart and Brain upgrades? and if so how do the golem feats and skills relate to me? Is the brain a redundant thing for a suit of construct armor?

No ideas anyone? Im not looking to make this an official change i am just looking to make this either something to use aginst players or as a player. There are rules for making spells and such so this shouldnt be too far out there.

I am under the impression that One evolution point is more or less worth about the same as a feat with progressive value depending on weither its 2 3 or 4, so with alot of guess work It isn't that far of a stretch to think this one effect should be hard to fabricate.

Alright so lets say The summon in question is something totaly out there in nature, some sort of nightmare manifestation... and the summoner belives it has acid, lava, liquid nitrogen, or some sort of other elementaly charged substance for blood. How would one go about making an evolution for this ability?

It would only need to be triggered upon taking slashing or piercing damage and be melee in range. I have only seen effects like this pop up once or twice with monsters which is a shame.
