About Oloma

Background

Spoiler:

Oloma was born to parents she never knew. She grew up on the streets of Urbeth on the island of Tharsult, eking out a meager life as a street beggar. Tiring of this, she managed to stowaway on a merchant vessel. She was eventually discovered but (disguised as a young boy) she managed to talk her way into the role of cabin boy.

This lasted for a while and Oloma learned the fine art of sailing by sailing the 4 seas. Eventually, however, she grew in to quite a beautiful young woman, and grew tired of being harassed by the male crew members. On a port visit to Tashluta, she decided to stay.

Oloma had always had a knack for magic and picked up a few tricks on her many voyages across the seas of Faerun. Once in Tashluta she found the Witchwardens and petitioned for membership. Lacking any formal training in spellcasting she was denied, though she was referred to someone who might be able to help someone as eager, and as tattooed, as Oloma. She made her way to Callisto's Needle, and was taken in by Mistress Callisto.

She studied under Mistress Callisto for 6 years before being told that Lavinia Vanderboren was looking for someone to help her gain access to her family vault, and meeting up with her companions.
