Well my group (un)fortunately has some good searchers and they quickly found the secret door that leads to the elevator in Jzadirune. Needless to say, they completely skipped the gnomish enclave and now are taking out the fortress...at first level. They just barely made it past the stone spoke and Xuakuss (the poly'd ogre), but I don't think the other fights will go so easily for them.

I don't know how many of you have read the newest incarnation of Waterdeep that WOTC has put out, but it contains many organizations with minor benefits and requirements that the PCs can be a part of. Some have pay (like being a member of the guard) and some have dues...

I am wondering if anyone else has thought about using these with SCAP? If so what do you have so far? If not, anyone interested in working on such a thing with me?

Pretty sure they have this in the SCHC book...has it for the Striders and the crafting people...forgot what they're called now.... :-\

For the DM's....

I was wondering if and what character traits you were using in the campaign. What plans do you have for the PCs that took these specific character traits (such as gaining the Smoking Eye template for those with the "Scarred Soul" trait)? Did you make up any character traits specific to your campaign?

Just had our first session (so all level 1):

Human male Archivist (from HoH) (Dreamnhaunted)
Dwarven female paladin (trait made up for Malachite Fortress)
Human male scout (Scion of Surabar)
Halfling male rogue (Scarred Soul)
Elf male warmage (from Complte Arcane) (Nobility)
Human male fighter (Scarred Soul)

Looking forward to using the character traits in the campaign. :)

My group would certainly concure about the grell (not at Kazmojen yet) but would add a healthy fear of the Raggomoffyn.

It's amazing what low level characters are scared of, huh? ;-)

I'm about to start the Dungeon magazine adventure path campaign "The Shackled City." I was wondering if there have been any other DMs or groups that have gone through the campaign (or still going through it) and have come across any problems of difficulties I should be aware of. Bad adventuers? Bad fights? Horrible NPC interactions? Anything at all I should be warned about.

So far we have this party (all level 1, using the Living Greyhawk for allowed rules/classes/feats/etc.):

Human male Archivist (HoH)
Halfling male rogue
Dwarf female Paladin
Elf male warmage
Human male scout
Human male Fighter (Thug variant from UA)

Thanks!
