Any new updates? I don't want to place an order until they're printed.

Hmm. We ended up reusing the product code—PZO3007—for the Wondrous Treasure deck—maybe that's what they've got?

You nailed it. I chatted with their live rep and it is the Wondrous Treasure deck.

I never thought a second deck of face cards would of been planned since the audience seems to be limited to Pathfinder subscribers. Maybe I'll be proved wrong. Overall I've been very impressed by the item cards, still have many gaps to fill on the item lists.

Kuatoa

I can't see a use for these cards for non-Pathfinder subcribing GM's, I'll hold my judgement until they're released. Interesting idea, seems very limited in it's appeal.

Kuatoa

Halfspears have yet to be represented as well as nets.

Kuatoa

The cards are great and are a hit with our group. One thing though, I have yet to see a net. I just noticed now that I was using some treetop monsters that net their opposition from above, I've searched all my sets and can't find a net. This would be a good set to release this in.

Interesting...CCG says they have 5 in stock.

I'm not sure where to post this...I found a GameMastery card set at CCG Armory called "New Beginnings", I can't seem to find it here on this website and the description is bad at the other site. What is this card set and why isn't it carried on Paizo?

Kuatoa

Thank you, I wanted to make sure I wasn't double ordering the same cards and wanted to make sure I did order the cards if they were different. I bought my cards here with Paizo but I saw the other site had different photos with the same name. Thank you for the quick response, I'm getting my Father's Day order together.

Kuatoa

I noticed that the card boxes from other vendors have different photos then the ones sold on this website. Are they the same cards?

Kuatoa

The server has always been slow, but it has gotten worse. I was going to place an order today but decided to go elsewhere when each page was taking a minute to load. You literally can't browse this website unless you have patience and a ton of free time....

I too had been playing D&D since 1st edition. 3.5 is by far the superior product in just about every aspect, even when considering 3.0. I disagree with anyone who says there is pressure on players to multiclass in 3.5. The strongest players are always single class. What I find in 3.5 is a clearer text for both players and DM's and more depth in just about every aspect. There are flaws in 3.5 just far fewer than in previous edition.

One thing to note is players whether 1st or 40th level need to know that there are always bigger and badder NPC's and monsters in the world. If they are killing a higher level encounter in two rounds then the actual encounter level needs to be adjusted up even further to make it challenge.
I also award from a third to half of my XP awards to roleplaying and proper use of class skills and role playing to proper alignment (and even solving puzzles or plot lines.) Combat is only a portion of XP.
If a Neutral good cleric attacks a good king or is party to such an event and doesn't react to stop it, not only would he not get any XP for the session but he would also be changing his alignment and lose his cleric abilities with the loss of his god.

I think the best CD we have used so far is Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Kuatoa

Basic D&D is Greyhawk correct? I noticed the gods are Greyhawk and the picture of coins are stamped with Greyhawk as well as many other Greyhawk references.

Everyone in our group has full time jobs, so we play our FR campaign every other Friday from 18:30 to 24:00ish, occasionally until 2:00. We try to keep the group at six or seven total including DM. We also are getting ready to run some RPGA events this summer, two players including myself are GM's. RPGA events in Idaho are almost non existent.

The bigger question I would ask is...Do you buy the Ebberon materials? That is the true test of support/use for which there will or will not be more content published. Whether you buy Dungeon or Dragon means nothing to the continued support or lack thereof of new Ebberon content. I check out the Ebberon book from my library and do use some of the content in my adventures. I haven't nor do I ever plan on buying any Ebberon books. Which means NO I don't support the Ebberon campaign setting. Where as the FRCS I buy everything published even if it doesn't look like someything I would use right away. That's because I want to see continued support for the FRCS. I don't see three or four Ebberon adventures yearly in Dungeon as overkill, nor does it entice me to buy any Ebberon merchandise.

Eberron is ok, I didn't find that any of it I have seen was very different than anything I have added to my campaign at some time or another. I don't find that adding any content from any setting to my FRCS is very challenging. You can even just make it another plane of existance within any world. There are always creative ways to add any type of content if your so willing. I support FRCS solely because I like it and want to continue to see more of it. I did find it somewhat force fed that the 30th annual RPGA event for experienced players was only Eberron. I see Eberron in the same light as the WNBA, I got tired of the NBA trying to force feed it to me and I kind of developed a bad taste for it now.
