So I am looking to run Way of the Wicked on Saturday evenings. I have 2 players and need 2 more. Ideally, I want to run this game where everyone is an archetype of vigilante to get some league of evil vibes with it. I am located in the Shreveport, Louisiana area.

then that is a wicked deadly combo

Thread Necro here but would it stack with Boar's Charge as well?

Boar's Charge
Prerequisite: Barbarian 12

Benefit: While raging, when you hit with a gore attack as part of a charge, you automatically score a critical threat. You must still confirm the critical hit as normal.

Special: This rage power is available to wereboars, wereboar-kin and those who associate with these creatures.

ok what would the CR increase be and any stat bonuses be? I want to have a baddie comeback with this but I don't want to throw balance to the curb. I looked at graveknight and its a plus 2 with ALOT of abilities and a special can't be easily killed option along with stats.

I understand the creation that is mentioned in the text. but lets say the baddie had the ritual done and was unaware. He gains class levels before he dies. How do I factor that?

https://sites.google.com/site/pathfinderogc/bestiary/monster-listings/undea d/fext

they have a spellscarred variant which is pretty cool. It gives the fluff of creation but no crunch I also checked the paizo prd in bestiary 5 and just found the statblock

So I looked at the Fext entry and thought it was pretty cool, sort of the martial equivalent to a lich. Then my brain went to work and I was wondering how would I turn one of my recurring baddies into one of these? I haven't been able to find an answer so I was wondering if the community could help. Thanks in advance

Let me be clear here. By no means do I want to eleminate burn entirely, it is a flavorful mechanic but I believe it is flawed. My 'solution' does not change what it does but rather IMO supports the fluff by saying it is a push beyond what you could normally do. I learn a skill why should I suffer for using it conservitavely. Now if I push to go beyond thw boundaries of what it normally does there should be a penalty associated. I decided to follow my understanding of the only other class I played that could push beyond and that was the wilder. I associate certain benefits with pushing yourself but kept the current bare bones of burn as the penalty.

I don't know. The way i read its fluff its you exerting yourself beyond normal capacity so having alot of things just have a flat cost to use seems far to limiting. I see it more as a wilder pushing their psionics to a higher level or using the boost word of power. The non-lethal dmage i do like because i had an online rp character with similar fluff...heck I'd be willing to change it to lethal damage that only takes half magical healing or can be recovered via regeneration and the like. I just think it shouldn't be a mandatory usage of health to just use the base ability

Shameful bump

Been trolling the forums for a while about the kineticist for a while and everyone seems to really hate the burn mechanic. So here is my 'quick' fix for it. Reduce all burn costs to zerofor your talents. Whenever you choose to except burn for a blast, each point increases the die by one size (d6->d8->d10->d12), for infusions it either increases duration or severity of effect and for utility it allows you to affect more party members/what it already lists taking burn will do.

The warrior is not evil and is separate from the war. When the rich wage war its the poor who die.

Ok really late on this one but i have read afew of these threads in their entirety. Something i think might help would be adding STR or CON to all saves for martials to show them just brushung it off. Adding a physical stat to all their social skills because words dont always inspire as much as action, sort of going off the whole i fear not an army of lions led by lambs but one of lambs led by lions. Definitely on board with scaling feats and more skill points. Remove the pointless feat taxes. Special stance and maneuver feats, like monks have style feats do the same for different weapons.

i looked at the magus and it just doesnt work for what I am after conceptually...the reason I was approaching it this way would allow rage and the spell to work...i guess the only way to make this work is to save up for some spell storing cestus

so theoretically I could use this to two-weapon fight with a two-handed weapon

ok so I have an interesting character concept but i need some questions answered answered to see if it works.
1) If I am holding a touch spell in one hand can i cast and hold in the other?
2) Does using a two handed weapon and attacking discharge the spell(s)?
3) What action is it to use a touch attack after the round the spell is cast?

The idea is a gestalted barbarian/fighter(mutation warrior/eldritch guardian) 1 Barbarian/SorcererX that before combat holds the charge for a spell then rages/mutagen and uses the held charges for adjacent while using a reach weapom

Gotta say monk with the blood conduit bloodrager once you hit level 5 you are a grappling beast

girlfriend and I are players on the westbank and met in college playing pathfinder/3.5 mix and would like to continue the tradition just neither one of us likes DMing and my last group dissolved. looking for once a week/month games...only issue is one weekend a month i have drill

creation rules?

3.5 book of erotic fantasy has rules for pregnancy and gestation time for various species

Ok so last year I emailed the local DM about joining PFS but due to at home complications fell out of contact and ultimately dropped out of it. With Paizocon near I would like to play. I am thinking a Half-Orc or Nagaji Feral Hunter with primitive weapons. Any advice for this character idea?

This shows marines training life fire
At 1:30ish it shows them taking a a kneeling position
At about 4:20 it shows them going prone. These are infantrymen, people who actively train for war. About the closest analog we have for the fantasy adventure in real life.

Ok don't know if this has been covered but it takes a whole lot less effort to go into the kneeling than prone. As an infantryman that's most of my life. We get into the kneeling misstep and get up just as easily so whoever was arguing prone is easier to get into than kneeling needs to go out and actually try it.

1. Going prone in Difficult terrain is a lot harder than going prone on a hard smooth surface. Likewise, it's pretty easy to kneel quickly in dirt or grass or sand. I posted a video of a Jerry Lewis going from standing to fully prone in less than a second. Sorry, but you're not going to kneel as quickly as he let's gravity drop him to the ground.

But the game doesn't contemplate terrain, so the default for discussion is non-difficult terrain.

2. The game doesn't really contemplate the effort based on what you're carrying. It's a move action to get up whether you are carrying 600lbs or are stark naked. So "effort" isn't really the question.

As I said, this isn't going to be solved by reality analysis. This a question of balancing the benefit of kneeling with the benefit of going prone in terms of the game.

OK are you thinking kneeling as in both knees because a combat kneeling position is one knee which can easily be done as part of a step, if you drop to both knees in combat you're offering a surrender. I am not disagreeing that going prone can be done with minimal effort but to say kneeling which in a combat stance can be done as part of a step, just ask all of 1/23 B, takes more effort makes zero sense. Military avoids going prone when it can because it takes more effort getting up and going down prone quickly and repetitively can cause harm. And are you seriously going to say gravity doesn't assist taking a knee?

Well the problem is I never got a confirmation but the money is still pending on my account. It is treated as gone so I don't overdraw but unless it gets fixed I'm out some cash. Already called my bank on it but they said all 3 charges are in paizo hands now

Two of the charges were for 42.90
And one was for 27.90
The only one I wanted was the 27.90 which was melee Tactics and character folio

Today I tried to purchase 2 items and put 1 on the wishlist for later and it said my card was declined, ok it's a card I had before I moved so I put in my old address to see if that was the error and it was declined again. Odd so I check my account and saw 3 charges on it 2 for the 2 items plus the wishlist item and 1 for the 2 items I wanted. I tried calling but it's Saturday so nothing. This is a royal screw over to me and my family. I would like to get this resolved because I love the product but this is not a situation to be in

So here is my suggestion have it cost 5 ft of movement. If it's all you did treat it as a 5 ft step I mean it is as easy to do as take a step so this should be reasonable and it still has a cost so it's not to silly

Crap...I am looking to getting in on my first PFS game soon and it jumped out to me. So I guess for natural attack feral hunter it would be Half-Orc with toothy trait taking racial heritage catfolk then catfolk exemplar

Ok really basic question because I can't find the answers on the interwebs...can these 2 stack? The big appeal to primal companion is the evolution points and I don't want a companion so feral hunter is the obvious choice otherwise half the class features are useless on the primal companion but primal companion allows a crazed wild man to come online early.

I am very interested in this document

Loving all of the input it is really helpful. Recently he held up a burning structure while the party rescued those within, I believe this might only further his regarding them as his lessers which would create interesting rp

It is my low level (2) Abyssal Bloodrager.
This stemmed from another thread asking about 7 Int so with all the stats present maybe it will help get an image. I want opinions not the wrongbadfun talks. He believes to be a dragon due to being raised by one. Sorta...He is half elf/orc and hates orcs with a passion. I play him as very rash and quick tempered but with enough sense to leave it to his 'lessers' who can relate to the vermin of the universe.
STR-18
DEX-14
CON-14
INT-7
WIS-12
CHA-12

Ok I have to ask the DM about that now just because it sounds hilarious. Btw chose hetero chromatic eyes because dual born suli so yeah...anyway...
First World marks...have to agree with looking at gnomes or taking a look at the half- fey template for ideas...it's would say an odd colored birthmark in a shape often associated with the fey

Well darn...guess my suli paladin is a changeling...crap...

I have a character with 7 Int 12 Cha and 12 Wis...and I have no idea how to roleplay him...I have been doing the very rash and quick tempered but still being able to read the situation just barely well enough to know to just sit outside and breathe. I would like more help on this as well so definitely stalking this thread all creepy like

How about a +1 ten foot pole?

^Damn Australia you scary

Haven't gotten a chance to look at them...Once I am able to get the book I may have to build 1

I would love an alchemist class...not the one with potions but more like FullMetal Alchemist style Alchemy...and on that note a class that functions like Scar...I would thing a monk with alot more magic/supernatural abilities geared for combat

Never played it just knew it was out there and might be worth looking at.

Well there is an old 3.5 prestige class called the forsaker I believe...it gets boons for destroying magic items and thematically the class disdains magic in all forms

The summoner has 3rd level spells which include dimension door and gets it as a spell like ability so he gets more uses out of it

Well was definitely looking at control type spells and leaving date toy weapon. Only player I can really help out is my fiance but she is keeping it tight but alluded to either 3.5 Warmage/Skald or Magus (the magus and Warmage both cast in armor and while Cha determines spells and DCs the Int adds extra damage) the other guy emailed me saying he is doing Alchemist/healer type, so not sure how it's going to work for him, probably high mental stats and using mutagens for melee. So yeah...what's is a good control type spell list for level 3? I have shield and mage armor was my bonus spell because I am still melee guy. Was thinking color spray and either grease or obscuring mist. In 3.5 there are feats to learn extra spells or get some unique meta magics with spell like abilities as well. Going with blue dragon bloodline because those are my favorite so probably going to pick up born of twin thunders so all my lightning spells do sonic damage and deafen targets as well

I was thinking of not dropping my armor but rather enchanting it and using special materials to mitigate spell fail. Losing a Smite and some BAB is important to me because of past experience with dipping. Don't confuse my counters with a lack of gratitude I appreciate all the help I just don't want to be the DM bane here...she is a fun DM and I don't want to make it all crash on her...because technically I could take the 3 levels in Half-dragon and get massive boost but that's just a Lil much

Sorry for confusion I can see 8 being better.but with your build suggestion I lose out on some melee things. Which is the point of my build. The only way I see keeping full caster and BAB is another prestige which would be ridiculous but would skyrocket my Ac

Considered it but another player is using it. Don't want too much repetition

For real...The bouncer the books the deeper the message the anime has

She cleared it. Just don't want to get overly silly. I mean it's a party of 3 for Shackled City so some silly required. And seeing as melee is my focus the absolute amazing casting isn't priority as much as being Draconic
