So I recently purchased a semi-collectible card game called Dungeon Crawler. I have to ask if anyone else out there has seen or played this game yet? It's fairly new and doesn't have a wide distribution yet but I have heard that it was demoed at GenCon this year and I've met other folks on the Dungeon Crawler forum boards (www.dungeoncrawler.com) so I know there's a few of us out there that are enjoying this game.

Here's why I am loving this game...

For starters, the game is semi-random. You can buy a starter (which is needed to play with) and a box of boosters and get one (two?) of every card in the game - rares included. This is something that I like seeing. It gives me the incentive to pick up a booster box knowing I can get all the cards, but it also makes me still not unhappy to throw a booster or two on there as an impulse buy once in a while either since it is still a nice surprise to see what I get.

Now, here's the REAL reason I'm excited about this game. Solo play...the game can be played competitively or multiplayer as well, but not having to find an opponent is nice since sometimes finding someone to play games with can be kind of hard since a lot of my old gaming buddies have moved on or, like me, have RL responsibilities that limit play time.

Plus the game has a genuine old-school dungeon delve feel to it in my opinion. I'd recommend this game to anyone for sure!

I've only played a half-dozen games so far and I'm hooked!

So, anyone else heard about this game? Or have played it?

Paizo folks, any chance you might carry this game someday? It would be nice to throw a few boosters in whenever I place an order with you folks.
