Hex and Ability Descriptions:

Dancing Strings-(as prehensile hair, but can control ropes, clothing, or fabric) The witch can instantly cause pieces of her clothing to grow up to 10 feet long or to shrink to its normal length, and can manipulate cloth as if it were a limb with a Strength score equal to her Intelligence score (18). Her clothes have reach 10 feet, and she can use it as a secondary natural attack that deals 1d3 points of damage. Her clothes can manipulate objects (but not weapons) as dexterously as a human hand. Her clothes cannot be sundered or attacked as a separate creature. Pieces cut from the witch’s elongated clothes shrink away to nothing. The witch can manipulate her clothes a number of minutes each day equal to her level; these minutes do not need to be consecutive, but must be spent in 1-minute increments.

Healing-This acts as a cure light wounds spell, using the witch’s caster level. Once a creature has benefited from the healing hex, it cannot benefit from it again for 24 hours. At 5th level, this hex acts like cure moderate wounds.

Appearance
Like most elves, Noxuria is fairly tall (5'9") and slightly built. Her features are very angular, especially her cheek bones, giving her an almost stone-like quality to her face. Long black hair cascades down her shoulders to the mid-back. She rarely smiles, and when she does, it looks more like a smirk.

Background:

Noxuria is descended from the Snowcaster elves that live at the Crown of the World. But her direct family has lived in Taldor for several generations. Her parents taught at the Kitharodian Academy and are well-respected members of Oppara's upper middle class. Nox enjoyed seeing her parents' perform, but what really interested her was the costumes.

Nox has always loved clothing. Something about the ephemeral nature of "an outfit," how adding a scarf or changing to a different brooch can alter the whole mood or tone of the wearer. We send both subtle and overt messages with our clothing; it's almost magical, and Nox loves it. She became quite an accomplished tailor, helping her parents in the theatre when possible, but working on her own the rest of the time. While not an official student at the Kith, having her parents there allowed her a certain freedom of exploration.

It's also where she met Modius. Modius Pembrook, an Ustalavian viscount training at the Academy, became quite taken with the young tailor, and she with him. Against her parents' advice, they married after a brief courtship. Unfortunately, Nox discovered the bane of elven existence, their long lives. After a "brief" 30 years, Nox was alone.

It took her a couple of years to work out of that depression. One of the things that helped her most was her concentration on magic, particularly in conjunction with cloth. It turns out her depression opened herself up to something, else, something... she can't really put her finger on it. But she knows it has something to do with her elven ancestry.
