Norn not entirly sure of whats going on will rise from her chair pull out her sickle and try to stick close to Araevin

Norn will sit the main tournament out since mainly so she can keep a better eye on Araevin but she will keep a hold of her chips so she wont bhe thrown out.

"Oh just a gold or two. I think" Truth be told Norn still wasent quite sure how the rules worked and was just going along with it.

"Kind of braking even I think."

Truth be told Norn was no longer sure how well she was doing so just went along with it.

Norn makes 5 bets of one gold each before tiring of the game and moving on

seems to have been something of a mix bag for her.

The 'succubus' initially rolls her eyes, but when presented with the extra gold piece, her smile is restored. She signs an 'X' on Nelrem's contract, then waves him inside.

Would people like to actually gamble, or fast-forward with Profession(Gambler) checks in the interest of time?[ooc]

[ooc] Either way is fine with me although since Norn has no idea how to play any of the games they would all just seem the same to her anyway.

"Thats not what I....." Norn just lets the rest trail off as she realises he isent really listening judging from the way he's walking around and looking at all the gaming tables before finaly settling on one of them and sitting down at it whilst telling her to lookout. She wanted to ask what she was supposed to look out for but Araevin had already went into what Norn called his calculating mode. At this point she could probably scream in his face and he wouldent notice her.

Sighing Norn went about looking out and within five minutes came to an important dicovery. Saying she would keep watch in conversation was one thing but in practice standing about watching was very booring. At this rate she would probably fall asleep. Looking at all the tables she made a desicion. Whilst she diddent really understand the rules or really see the point in the tournament she had payed so she may as well take part and if nothing else it would be more interesting than just standing and looking like a statue. So going to a table that would allow her to keep an eye on Araevin whilst playing she sat down and began to game.

Norn simply nods as Araevin mentions Karkalla. Of course she will be safer than they are Karkalla after all wasent entering a town full of people who probably would want to put a knife in your back for looking at you the wrong way. Living outsie in the wilderness was so much simpler okay so maybe it was filled with wild animals who wanted to eat you but you never saw them trying to do each other in over bags of gold coins . Speaking of Gold coins Norn was shaken from her thought By Araevin Mentioning money and lodging.

" Couldent we just camp outside?" She asks but once again he was so focused on the blot that he diddent seem to hear her. Turning to her he mentioned a place called the gold goblin and a chance of making out well. Opening her mouth in protest Norn is cut off by Araevin shooting her the Ive made up my mind so its settled look.....

...Arriving later at the gold goblin Norn couldent help but stare around at all the tables, the people wearing succubus costumes and was that a real devil in a cage hanging above them...? What had Araevin got them into this time?

Sighing Norn walked over to where Araevin seemed to be having a phyilisopical discusion with one of the Fake Succubi and a half-elf signing the contract (After giving it a proper look over to make sure that it wasent a real sell your soul for all eternity deal). Turning to Araevin she simply asks "So how exactly does this work then?"

eheh Just realised I hadent done my charecters background so ive gotten that up. Ive also changed my campaign trait to fools for friends with Araevin being the friend (If he could have a look at the background and tell me what he thinks I would be gratefull)

I believe I will take Arevin up on his offer. We both have the into enemy territory trait so it could just be seen as watching each others back if thats okay with him.

Well I want to take a wolf for an animal companion but I just want to clarify whether it will be with me when i start since its a gambling tournament I dont see them allowing a big wolf into the place. also one of my traits relys's on one of the others inviting me along.
