"You want us to grab the guy who went crazy after touching that slime and for all we know could be contagious?"

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"Come on guys we can take them.......Uh hey guys?" Norn suddenly realising everyone else has abandoned the room runs after the others.

Norn swiftly follows Erizi and Nombir

"Oh come on guys it's only a little fungus" Despite her words she does wait for Zaid to open the door.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"I have to say judging from the looks of things down here and the fact the door was jammed I don't think anything has been down here for decades if not longer." Norn glances around again as if to emphasise the point

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"Lets try the centre corridor first."

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"Well I dontb think we will encouter any pugs down here." Norn says turning to see what the others think.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"Pretty sure if the dead in here were restless they would have made that known by now."

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"I don't think anyone has been this way in quite some time" Norn informs the others.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Norn checks the floor for any tracks in the dust

Perception check

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"Right first I think"

"Might be an idea." norn says glancing down the hall

Whilst the others push Norn pulls out the crossbow and keeps it trained on anything that may come through the door

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Since Norn was looking out for traps and danger I would think she would be at the front or pretty close to it.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"Looks clear" Norn shouts back to the others as she slowly proceeds in

"Uh sure okay" Norn replies "So what are we dealing with in there?"
"Pugwampys. Annoying little creatures they are. Zaid Al-Mahaudin is my name, I am the party's scribe and historian." He extends his hand out to the halfling.

"Pleasure workin with ya Al" Norn says shacking Zaid's hand

Disappointment clear on his scarred face Erizi turns and resloutly heads back towards the Monastery. "Well I guess we'd better get to in then". "If we're going to have company I'd rather have it coming at us from only one side". He then begins to trudge back towards the old building. "Besides the sooner we finish the sooner we can eat".

"Uh sure okay" Norn replies "So what are we dealing with in there?"

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"Did you bring spices", Erizi hollers out at the approaching group

Norn just momentarily stops in her tracks of all the greetings she could have received that was undoubtedly the strangest "Do we look like cooks to you?" she hollers back

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Perception

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

"Is that them there?" Norn asks while pointing in there direction.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Norn will take a shortsword, A heavy crossbow with 20 bolts, a backpack and some rations.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Norn ponders for a minute about saying yes or not but seeing how eager Livvy clearly is makes the decision much simpler

"Sure thing boss" she says making a short bow "but if I may be so bold to ask what other two pathfinders?"

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"We were adventuring that is generally what adventuring groups do." Noticing the hand heading towards the Scimitar she pipes up "Is there a problem? I mean it seems a bit silly feeding, clothing and healing us if you're just going to run us through after all this?"

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

"Anyway as I was saying we ran into a few complications namely that we were jumped by a group of Gnolls. Really got the drop on us as well They managed to kosh Livvy before she even got a chance to start casting a spell and they got me a minute or two later. Next thing I know the two of us are being thrown into a cell in some dank ruin." pausing a moment to take a quick sip of coffee she continues.
"As it turns out Lilly not getting a chance to cast a spell was a good thing since they had no idea that she was a finger wiggler so even thought they took pretty much all of our gear they didn't bother tying up or gagging her. So waiting until it got dark and the gnolls stopped paying attention to us Lilly here used a spell to make a whole bunch of lights appear outside which all of the gnolls except one responded to by running outside to try and find out what they were. While they were away I picked the cell lock using one of Lizzy's hair clips. snuck up on the Gnoll and clubbed him over the head with the first object that came to hand" Norn pauses for a moment and mumbles something about really hoping that statue wasn't an antique before she continues
"We then borrowed some things off the Gnoll before sneaking out and running in the opposite direction that we sent the gnolls heading. I'm not really sure how long we were in that desert for but eventually we quite literally ran into that fella you know the Dour faced one with a limp? who brought us the rest of the way here." Norn pauses to take a breath after all that talking.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Norn In comparison with Livvy seems a lot more casual about the entire thing Although she does remain respectful giving a polite bow before taking a cushion seat "Well m-er Lady Almah I'm Norn Jural of the pathfinder society and this is my associate and friend Livvy Goldenscale. As for why we were here the two of us were with a small adventuring group that were travelling through the area when we ran into some well complications."

Leaving it there for now so that French wolf can let us know how we escaped from the gnolls

I've pretty much just gone with armour (It being small size I doubt the Gnolls would bother removing it) and wayfinder (Character hid it somehow or picked it up on the way out) at this point Anything else is up to French Wolf

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Okay background done all the way up to joining the Lions. Now Norn is good to go.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Okay been trying to work a bit on Norns backstory and just thought I would ask French wolf the following

Spoiler:
Would it make more sense for Norn and Livvy to have been travelling by themselves or with a group? If with a group what happened to the others? (Although I can take a pretty good guess on this one) How long were they held at the ruined fort and whatever may have happened to them whilst they were there?

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Norn now with the die roll stats still working on background though.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

French wolf

Spoiler:
I honestly don't see her having much besides her armour and maybe her wayfinder (If she found somewhere to hide it) on her person to begin with

Besides that and background everything is good to go

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Starting wealth

4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 1) = 13Multiplied by ten = 130 gold

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Okay have the very basics done just waiting to see what you say about my idea.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Okay got all that down now. As for starting time just go with whatever you feel most comfortable with.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Pretty sure I have everything done.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Norn now with background

Spoiler:

Raise since birth by her parents in the Druidic ways Norn has always been closed to nature enjoying its natural beauty and grander. For these reasons she was eventually drawn into the Greenfire circle. Currently an apprentice she finds herself carrying out odd tasks here and there in order to help build up better relations between the order and the other local groups.

Well this is her so far still have to do the AC (Not sure if it should be wolf or a cat) and her background is a bit bare but I'm going to read the guide to Darkmoore vale for some ideas.

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Gah cant believe I missed this so ill just do my char action for the next round now

After failing to even hit the thugs Norn decides the her best idea is to get the fellow that just got beat down back into the fight trying to avoid exposing herself to much she calls upon the powers of nature to heal the man's wounds

Cast cure light wounds on Mel taking a five foot step if possible to avoid attacks of opportunity from the thugs If she cant do that let me know and ill have her cast defensively

Cure light wounds (1 d8 +1=5)

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

DM Ross wrote:
Unfortunately, Norn, you can't cast Entangle here. Not enough plants (And it would entangle the bouncers and innocent NPCs to boot.) Would you like to take a different action?

I'll take a ready action to smack anyone that try's to attack Averin

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Norn lets out a sigh as everything seems to go out the window very quickly Moving to back up Arevin. If possible she will cast Entangle to surround the chest If not she will simply draw her sickle and stand next to him

Not sure if entangle actually needs plants in the area for it to work or not

(Female Halfling Rogue 3)

Will save 1d20 + 4 = 23
