Well you do get the adventures you are running 2 weeks ahead of the show. So you could get a few people together before and run it ahead of time to get a feel for what you are doing. The material you need for a four hour run isn't that much.

I like using pre run adventures. I feel like a director with a script. I help interpret the writers ideas to the players.

Ha! Nope, Sinister is my own wee publishing house. We put out OGL adventures and supplements. Our Indulgences line is a series of mini-pdfs (though some of this month's grew to not-so-mini-size).

The Warrior's Way is a supplement for monks, fighters and like-minded characters who want to be able to whip out some Island-style martial arts techniques and add some new interesting weapons and items to their repertoire.

Nick, I just got the PDF, and just like the "Art of the Duel" PDF, it was well worth every cent. Now I want to convert my old 3rd level, 1st edition monk into a Mai'kal for the Pathfinder game.

Also, reading the improvised "natural" weapons of of the Tulita reminded me of some of the weapons in Dark Sun, like the Tortise Blade (horse-shoe crab-like gaunlets that allowed you to stab and enhanced your punching attacks), the Thanak (a wooden sword studded with ptarrx teeth), and the Carrikal (a sharpened jawbone attached to a haft, sort of like a battle axe).

So how will Chelaxians be handled? I am not saying that all Chelaxians are evil but being from a LE nation and being someone who is actively promoting their nation's goals, they just might be more inclined to be evil.

I imagine a lot of Chelish Pathfinders are LN and N.

Hmmm, let's see, I saw at least one person willing to run a PFS campaign at Gen Con UK this year! That sells me, i'll be definitely going now!!! A chance to play on not DM!!! It's a dream come true! And to play in the new PF setting!!! It's not a dream...it's heaven!!!

I did see a panel/seminar that Nick Louge will be running on the Pathfinder Society at Origins. There is also a panel/seminar on the future of Pathfinder, sticking with 3.5 and the Pathfinder RPG.

I think the Pathfinder Society talk is on Saturday the 28th from 5pm-6pm and the Future of Pathfinder and Piazo talk is on the 27th from 7pm-8pm. You can just search Pathfinder or Piazo on the Origins game fair site for a listing of their events.

Looks like this is the best place to contact Nicolas... I bought this Indulgences out of curiosity and I must say its been some of my best investments in RPG! Congratulations Mr. Nicolas on your Razor Coast!!! I can't wait to get the Dark Vista, I already wrote 2 times about the release date to the website and had no answer yet... But hey, the month's coming to its end, so how far can it be. Again, great work!

Thanks Hugo! The release date is pushed back sadly, thanks to some personal life crises (my parents both fell very ill and were hospitalized around the same time).

It will be a July release now! So sorry about this delay...but it does mean you'll get some more Indulgences!

Grues have been a part of D&D since 1st edition, actually. There were four elemental grues in the 1st edition Monster Manual 2. They got picked up in 3rd edition, I believe, in Complete Arcane. They were pretty nifty little evil elemental monsters.

The Dark Horizons line intrigues me more than any other right now. I wasn't a big sci-f roleplayer, but Nick ran me through an impromptu adventure not altogether unlike Cold Black's premise and I was instantly hooked.

I had a small part in writing for the KUG, and seeing what everyone else wrote only whet my appetite for more.

Nick, Lou, someone... ya gotta run me through Cold Black. Maybe we can ressurect my 490 pound cleric of Gorph (left in shattered, frozen hunks on tower stairs in one of Nick's keeps) and give him a futuristic make-over. A man that big probably generates his own gravity in space. That's gotta be in the plus column. Maybe a new d20 Future feat called moon missile that allows me to hurl one of my many personal (toaster-size) satellites from its orbit for 2d4 damage?

I think a little weekend at Lou's gaming retreat is just what Nick needs to restore his shredded sanity right now my man! I'd be all over GMing for you again Rone! I had a blast with you last time!
