Nechtan fades into the background as only someone painted completely blue can.
Stealth+8=25
"Cannae fash all of this mumblety-jumblety talk. Brrawlin' done?", Nechtan asks.
Okay if Nechtan draws his weapons once aboard?
Too impatient to wait for Healaugh to secure the rope, Nechtan attempts to scramble aboard via the oars.
Acrobatics (1d20+8=21)
Initiative - 18+4=22
"Bonny plan! I sha' follow! but withae the sissel."
"Dinnae be such a big lassie-lizarrrd!"
"Heh! A Lassarrrd!"
"Boats are gud, sea is gud, bonny forr takin a ship."
Nechtan then glances sideways at Healaugh, "Nae like a pirrate tho.."
Nechtan is now smug that his superior manliness is being shown.
"Mebbe goat's Mistrrress Inge, bint it?"
Nechtan catches his breath, somewhat embarassed by his performance against the Luskans.

By my calculations, Nechtan is on 18 HP with 3 surges used. Ddraig's turn.
Thanks! That saves a lot of retro-math :)
Nechtan shakes his head to clear the cobwebs left from his unsuccessful run-ins with Sven, and begins to feel like his old self.
Nechtan glares, but lowers his weapons.
Nechtan staggers to his feet, looking for battle.
Does not understand Illuskan, especially when unconscious.
Have a good weekend, all!
Bloodied (4hp)
EDIT: 10 hp, forgot about the temps from Ddraig.
Nechtan moves to aid Ddraig, and flanks his chosen sniper #2. Howling wildly, he flails with his claymore.
Fabes, I am away from any rolling method for 8-10 hours. If you would be so kind to do the honours...
Jaws of the Wolf (Daily) vs AC. 2 attacks: 1d20+10 (with flank). Each Hit: 2d10+5, +1d8 HQ. Each Miss: Half damage. Crit + 1d8

Nechtan moves to the near side of the dune, and hurls his axe at the same sniper again.
Can't access IC or the map at work. Move, Careful Strike 1d20+10=25 vs AC, 1d6+2=8 damage +1d8=6 for HQ.
Healaugh wrote: As of when have either Ddraig or Nechtan favoured the quiet and surgical approach? Just asking. Whut? Nechtan was quiet for 12 seconds of the first fight. ;)
"Must move, aforre things get worrse!"
"Rright. Best muve, and catch yon Ingerr nasty."
Have we short rested during the interrogation?
"Mite take ye forr sourrce o' haggis.."
"And many moooooooore!"
Nechtan wanders about, gathering his various weapons.
"Shoo nae hae put the hoons on me."
Nechtan bastes himself in gravy, awaiting the dogs' attack. :)
Nechtan helps the trio find the least obtrusive way down to the beach.
Stealth (1d20+8=20) Should either of the other 2 roll poorly (14 or under), Nechtan will offer some Crucial Advice (re-roll with +2 bonus).
Nechtan squirms a bit, unaccustomed to the idea of being the voice of caution.
"Nae attack.", he tells Healaugh.

Extended rest - all daily powers recharge. HP and healing surges back to full. APs set back to 1.
Phew! That's the first time that I've been at no surges in 4e.
Unless others object, short rest, then back to village for extended rest.
Hoping that his banter with Healaugh has distracted his companions from the carnage around them, Nechtan suggests, "Back to yon clanhold for rresting?"
Nechtan nods. "Agrreed. Not hearr, betterr."
"Block earrs aforre hurrdy-gurrdy?"
Nechtan nods.
Zero surges, 4 hp.
