@Hama - bare basics, you draft a team of players and score points based on how they perform in NFL games. This league will be combining points based off touchdowns, extr points, etc. scored and yardage compilation. @GreasyGrappler - be glad to have you on board. While at its core it remains fantasy football, I've designed a number of trophies/milestones that are fantasy/PF themed (60+). So, winning the league championship means your team gets to the artifact first. I had a smaller run of it last year, and we had some fun with it. Enough so that I'm also working on a Star Wars themed league this year as well.
I will be hosting a Pathfinder themed fantasy football league this year using ESPN's free fantasy football service. There is room for 16 teams. If you would like to play, private message me your name and email address so I can send you an invite. Also, let me know what first and second faction (division) you prefer: Cheliax, Andoran, Osirrion, or Taldor.
Using ESPN's free service, I have created a Pathfinder fantasy football league strictly for gamers--the Golarion Gridiron Gambit. Draft a team and play for one of Pathfinder Society's factions--Andoran, Cheliax, Osirion or Taldor. Earn trophies, milestones and awards as you battle in a race to retrieve a mystical artifact, bringing glory to your faction and the Pathfinders. Earn enough stars and become Golarion's next god (of pigskin?) by excelling in the Star Stone Challenge. The league can support 16 players (four teams per faction). If you like fantasy, and you like football, this is a nice little aside. After all, crunching numbers for your football team isn't much different than crunching numbers for your fighter. Just give me a name & email by DM or email and I will send you an invite. If there is enough interest, I will host the draft Monday night (the system will auto pick for you if you can't make the draft).
I was trying to research what stores are around Chattanooga--I've seen a couple of links mentioning store closings, but Joseph is right. Finding a store and meeting some peeps face to face is a great way to go, even if they're not playing Pathfinder currently. I see there are two groups on Meetup.com: http://www.meetup.com/Chattanooga-D-D with 40 members and http://www.meetup.com/ebrainerd-dnd with 19 members. Both should be good ways to contact people if you're not already a member. I'll be swinging down to Atlanta for three days in April (16-18) so wouldn't mind dropping by to meet you. Ever any questions feel free to ask, and if I don't know, well, then I direct you to Mike. Or just make something up. Cheers!

I'll be handing the new boon out tonight in celebration! Thanks Blackmoor! I look forward to meeting you. Drop me an email, private message, etc and lets see what we can get going. |
