They caught lightning in a bottle with this one, again! The added relics and events make the game totally different! now there are so many cool things that can happen, AND they continue to add smartly designed and clever encounters to make this game a definite must have on your shelf!

If munchkin got worse with each expansion set (and its play time expanded further and further) these expansions make Cut Throat Caverns better and better!

This expansion has some COOL encounters and adds abilities for your characters. If I had my druthers, this would be in the base game!

I gave it 5 stars because of how awesome it makes the base game, but others might be slightly miffed at buying something that feels like it should have been included in the starter game.

I picked this game up after hearing the guys from the D6 Generation podcast rave about it so much. Now that it is back in print, I jumped on it and two expansions.

The game is fairly simple to understand, and plays very fast. In the base set, your "character" has very little bearing on the game, its just a card to track life totals. In the 1st expansion, Deeper and Darker, your character gains an ability usable once per game.

The encounters are very well thought out and make each play slightly different, which increases its replay value.

All in all, I love this game, but you should definitely pick up the expansions.
