Sounds fine to me. I used paizo's Adventure Path page to determine which to include as D&D, but I have no problem giving those APs their own tab. Just means a few more tabs is all, no biggy. I'll make the change when I get a chance.

All is great for me and the muglets! :) I hope you all are great!

My goal is to get at least one post up today. Glad we still got the patience to get this pbp going again!

i'm currently typing one handed with a baby in the other, so that post may not be till later. Better late than never, right?

Baby was born yesterday! Finally!

I haven't even been on Paizo since my last message, too much going on and wife needed lots of help and work on top of that was smothering. But now the baby is out! woohoo! Everything is smooth sailing from here on out! ;)

I got a week off of work now and plan on catching up and getting things rolling again right soon.

Baby Stats for those interested:

18 hours in labor

8 lbs , 6 ounces
21 inches

Baby and mom are doing great!

Earlier at breakfast.

The half-orc is noticably slow to rise and gather with the group when morning comes. He's listless, sweating, and his blood-shot eyes are bulging slightly and unfocused. His head bobs and weaves slightly, like a leaf in a soft breeze, and he seems slow to react to sounds. So when the introductions begin his head swiveled in hops and loops to gaze at Alphonse, and he mouths the mans name, as if pleased he was able to recall that detail. So it goes throughout the rest of the introductions, also turning to regard the speaker several seconds after they've started speaking, acting almost surprised to find someone there. The sun is warm, but he's sweating much more profusely than yesterday, and he keeps guzzling from his waterskin, the water running down his chin and into his chest wastefully, as if he's unable to satisfy an unquenchable thirst.

A good 15 seconds after the last speaker, he seems to realize it's his turn, as everyone's been watching him (likely with mounting concern). He stands abruptly, unsteady on his feet, "I-- am Ursha, and Shorga ish my horshe-- NO!! I am Shorga, my horshe, and Ursha ish my... friend. I wash a noblesh guard, no shkillsh! Jusht a guard. I ushed my---Weapon! And Ursha and I rode like... guardshman! You shee? Guardshman, me and Ursha. Yesh." He reaches over his shoulder, trying to draw his falchion, which seems to continually dodge just out of his reach, so he just sighs and gives it up. "I have a shword and--- I like it!" Apparently finished, he looks around at each of you, blinking deliberately as if trying to clear his vision, and then sits down with a thump.

----------------------

To all inquiries after his health he just smiles and waves his hand nonchalantly, a few too many waves to actually be totally in control of his faculties, "I do not wish to--- shlow ush down. Lead on! Ursha and I will..." Overall he seems slightly confused and disoriented, but physically he seems to manage well enough, packing Ursa, equipping himself and carrying out mundane tasks with hesitation. He seems to respond well enough to suggestions and commands, if a bit delayed.

Just playing it like he's capable but confused/slow. So he won't slow down the group, imo, but will likely need some looking after.

Lucon, I believe the appropriate response should be a deep, gutteral, "Aaaaarrrggggghhhhh!!"

I wish I could answer your question Joanna, as I'm curious of that myself, but I must at least make this comment... You really are Watchful, aren't you? ;)

I don't know. :) Let's see, who isn't here? I blame... Amon! When in doubt, blame the GM! That's why they pay me the big bucks. I'm pretty sure I started putting it down wrong at some point, probably tried to spell it from memory. Calseinica is her name, just re-grabbed it from my notes. *sigh*

The thugs eyes widen as she realizes Calseinica has disappeared, after a moment she finds her voice, "I'm Rella, I only worked for Barlo, the mage who abandoned me. He handled the jobs, we were just the muscle." She looks down at her captures self and grimaces, acknowledging the irony of her statement. "All he told us was some fat lady wanted Calseinica to be brought to her. Barlo was the only one with her location." Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Sense Motive DC13:
She tried to hide something when she said 'I only worked for Barlo'. The rest seemed truthful.

You make your way out the back, following Sabinus who scouted the alley earlier. There's no sign of the cowardly kidnappers who fled this way. Mathalen runs off to inform the others what has transpired, and to warn Ava, who's been absent from the battle. You start making your way towards Signore Dellano's home, dragging Rella along with you.

Perception DC21:
You hear the clomping of many heavy boots approaching.

Enko&Ava:
Enko, sorry to steal Mathalen, but I wanted to get Ava the option to be involved in this thickening plot! >:o)

Mathalen sprints through the door to the Torchbearer hideout, head whipping about wildly until she spots Ava. She trips over a barrel and then Fiosa in her haste to reach the dwarfs side. "Ava! Thank goodness you're here! I think something went wrong at Il Canzone and the girl we tried to protect has been taken... magic'd away! Can you come now? I'll show you the way!"

Ava I wasn't sure if you were here or not, but basically you're welcome to join the others, at a run might be best. :)

The goblin wilts as the tall tiefling approaches, "Horny-man welco-" anything else he was going to say is cut off as Caladius slams his fist into the goblins tough head. The goblin sprawls back, knocked completely senseless by the blow.

Just 'encouraging them to remember their own sense of self-preservation'?? LOL, why can I imagine a mobster saying that to some store owner refusing to pay protection money. hehe.

So I've been thinking of trying this method of group and campaign selection for a week or two. While this is mostly a 'checking interest' thread, I'll probably continue with those who respond to a full on adventure. So here we go.

First
Who wants to play? That's the first question. Who wants to play in another pbp and has the time to do so? If you are such individual, please express your interest. I'm going to ask for some odd details along with your interest.

For Example:
1. I, Mug, want to play in another pbp please. The 'please' is optional
2. I typically post x to x times a day.
3. I currently play in x amount of pbp games.
4. Some adventures I'm interested in are; Homebrew, Carrion Crown, Skull & Shackles.... You get the idea here
5. I usually/would like to fill the role of party ______. What role do you want to fill?
6. I would be willing to fill a different role. Or not.
7. I'm a Sagittarius, enjoy basketball, and am fighting a losing battle with hair loss. This is the 'about me' section, and is optional.

Second
We choose a group... well mostly I choose the group based on your answers above, and any other questions I may pose to you.

Third
The selected group chooses the AP, or they might choose a homebrew or a one-off. The only thing I'm sure of on this one is I'll mostly likely start at a level 1 or level 2.

Fourth
We go make characters, play, and have a marvelous time.

Conclusion
If you're interested in my odd experiment/interest check/adventure, please post the questions and your answers I listed under 'First'. Hop to it!

I assume this is Belvica I see, and the guard she is speaking to is the one behind the door panel?

As the druid and Gidma approach the strange-looking female dwarf, She looks almost as odd as I do! Quite attractive in an exotic sort of way... who knew dwarves could even look exotic?

He waits a few paces back and to the side, waiting in polite silence for his turn to speak to the guard, hands folded in front of him. If she happens to look back he nods his head respectfully, "Sir.., uh Ma'am.. Sir."

If the Mayor is down with us go to Chopper Isle, I vote we go there. If she's hesitant, I vote chatting up citizens and investigating the dead priest whose body was taken. If it's the investigation or the hunt, and both can't happen, I vote the investigation over the hunt. If we can do both all the better, imo.

Obstacle Course #6:

Bugsby takes the pile at a run, planting a hand at the peak of his jump and using the momentum to swing his legs over the top, landing lightly on the other side. Approaching the swinging balls, Bugsby had seen enough contestants attempt this, and an idea had been forming. Now presented with the swinging balls of bludgeoning, he smiles as the plan takes perfect shape. He simply leans over, until he's practically bent double at the waist, and continues to barrel ahead, head lowered like a tiny purple battering ram. The heavy balls whistle harmlessly past, high over his bent head. Laughing, he straightens up after the last ball is past and looks to the next section, a wild grin on his face as he dashes forward - full speed ahead.

Flex Pre-Obstacle Course attempt at Medics station
Bugsby notices a new face treating the poor unfortunate souls who'd failed to emerge unscathed from the course. He watched with admiration as she deftly handles patients, reaching for appropriate remedies like one would reach for an old friend. What skill! The gnome sidles up to the tent full of groans and moans before announcing himself with a smile.

"Greetings! I don't believe we've met, Madam. Bugsby Featherfoot at your service... although, given the state of these poor folks here, you may be pressed into my service sooner than later!" The last is said with a wry chuckle. "You certainly are skilled in your craft, it's impressive to behold." With a gesture at the resting forms around them, "Is it a silly question if I ask what brings you to Sandpoint? Oh and any advice for one who is soon to attempt the crossing of this merciless structure?"

Bubsby eyes the massive structure and the many contestants currently trying, failing, as well as the many robust men and women yet to make the attempt. Steeling his resolve, the gnome quietly repeats the mantra which has guided and sustained him for so long, "To know a thing, one should probably get pummeled by that thing!" He removes his shirt from over his head as he prepares to take his turn, turning towards the crowd and flexing his stringy tendons mightily, why not give the crowd a show? With that, he turns with a determined set of his jaw, and begins.
