They stay captivated for one round after I stop singing, so if I double move then I could be away before he drops it?. Well, assuming they're all on the roof(or on the floor below if Justin's spell does enough damage to blast through the roof) that would work. So, you do that then the rest of us kill our way to the now-scorched top?

We can just explain to them that we can level this knot hole just as easily as we did their guards. If they give us what we want, we won't have to do that." "So, tell them to hand over the goods or we'll slit all their sodding throats? I can do that." Swire smiles unpleasantly and draws his rapier. I'll just stand near the front of the group. Either they come close enough for me to intimidate them, or they get blown up by Ekuur and I'm close enough to stab them.

Finally updated my sheet. Swire moves closer and fires a bolt at the khaasta. They're flat-footed until they act, right? I any case, move 30 feet closer, draw my hand crossbow and fire from at least one increment away: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 9 - 2 = 261d4 + 3d6 ⇒ (2) + (4, 2, 5) = 13

Justin Case wrote: "Hm. Tastes like chicken. Who knew?" "No, it tastes like beetle. Nothing tastes like chicken." Apparently the shrieking of today's foe put Swire in a foul mood. Or at least a more-talkative one. For my rogue talent, Weapon Focus(Rapier). I'll update the rest in the morning.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 EDIT: Knowledge(Local): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 "Don't look now, but the natives are getting curious." Swire tilts his head up towards the branches above the party's head as he slips the ruby ring onto his finger. Officially claiming the Lockpicking Ring, since I don't think here knows how to pick locks.

Like I edited in above, I was looking for the "Ring of Lockpicking" when it was actually called the "Lockpicking Ring".

Isaac wrote: I've never heard of Dimension Stride Boots or the Ring of Adamantine Touch, either. Fortunately I have a copy of the MIC nearby. Ring of Adamantine Touch:
When wearing this ring, your melee attacks(whether natural or with weapons) count as adamantine for damage reduction. Ring of Mystic Fire:
Provides a boost to your fire-based spells. When casting spells with the fire descriptor, gain a +1 competence bonus to caster level. Also, the ring has three charges per day renewed each day at dawn. Spend charges to increase damage of next fire spell. (1: +2d6, 2: +3d6. 3: +4d6) Dimension Stride Boots:
+2 bonus on Jump checks. This is continuous. Also, five charges per day, spend charges to teleport a short distance. Must have line of sight and effect to destination, can't bring other creatures with you. (1: 20ft, 3: 40ft, 5: 60ft) Gauntlets of Eldritch Fire:
When you activate these gauntlets, your next eldritch blast does fire damage I can't find the Ring of Lock-Picking anywhere, which is odd because I know I've seen something like it before. EDIT: Wait, did you mean the Lockpicking Ring? (+5 to Open Lock checks, can use Knock once per day) Anyway, I'll take the Lockpicking Ring and possibly the +2 Leather Armor, if no one else wants it.

Sense Motive on that oath: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 After an almost-impolite amount of time, Swire sits down to eat. "Of course you will." Swire smirks slightly as he cuts into his meat. DM: I wouldn't happen to be carrying one of those vials of beauty we looted from the khaasta the first time? I'm pretty sure either me or Merle is carrying one, but I never did remember to note it on my sheet that I picked it up. After all, we picked up two way back when.

"Mr Swire.", the knight responds curtly as he stands with his back to the wall, wondering who in their right mind invites random strangers into their home and serves them drinks. Knowledge(Local), this kind of guy has to be talked about, right? Also, Sense Motive, does he seem like the type to slip poison into his drink for test subjects? 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 201d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

Swire tears into the meal like a man who doesn't know when is next meal will be, eying the elves Isaac talks to suspiciously. Fellow travelers are always worth noting and never worth trusting. Then again, that applies to everyone. Knowledge(Local), can I tell anything about these elves? (Hey, it's worth a shot.) 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

They're dretchs! We're lucky if they're wearing loincloths! I'm the stereotypical Taker, and I'm not going to try finding which crevasse they hid their valuables in. Also, isn't Ekuur still casting Create Food and Drink every day? Swire continues to scowl. "Another nice little burg we got here. I'll be at the inn, they'll know if the lizards went through here."

Isaac wrote: Since Swire goes before Isaac, but I'm posting first, I'm gonna assume he'll want to step over and set up a flank on the closest one in square m19? [ooc]No where else to go without provoking an AoO, so yes. Also, delaying until after Isaac to get a flank. Swire draws his rapier and lunges at the dretch, stabbing viciously. Move to m19, draw rapier along the way, and attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 8 + 2 = 181d6 + 3d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + (2, 1, 1) + 1 = 7 If Isaac's attack killed it, move to P17 instead.
