Background:
Mrs. Vangelis is the wife of Ralf Vangelis, a farmer in the Turanian hills. They raise goats (for meat and cheese), several types of grain, and they have a small peach orchard (as well as growing vegetables for their own use).

As a young girl, she was an adventurous sort, rough-housing with the lads and always getting into scrapes. However, at the age of 15 she got married and was forced to settle down, raise a family, and help with her husband's farm. After raising 13 children (12 girls and 1 boy, the youngest being 13 years old), her husband has given her his blessing to sow some wild oats and take a break from farm life.

Now she's staying with her daughter Lucy and her son-in-law Oleg (an alchemist) in Westcrown. She loves wrestling, roping, and hunting, so she's looking forward to hunting down some of the night monsters that her daughter has told her about.

She also knows a cheese merchant named Zubifer Olmex, a jolly bald fellow who has had dealings with the Vangelis farm for decades.
