I've not drawn a line since then and it'll be good to see if I can still remember to draw :p

Montaive, you've mentioned before that you may have a list of backdated requests that require artists. Have you found a new home for the list? I'd like to try my hand at some of them.

:D

niet, sorry... will see what can i do about it.

mmm
so.. if i play a mex of DnD 3.5, PF races and the Beta domains... mixed with lots of Monte Cook's BoXM... iam saved? or worst i am some kind of freak cultuist that took his own follow up to Satan and now the dark lord would not answer my prayers (or mayebe answer sooner?) :P

*shivers at hearing Mazes and Monsters*

the beginnings of LARP! besides the bad script and the psd the Larping was a bad mixture for a weak mind!

LOCATION

Problem: Calistria didn't rebuff CC, and he didn't take the Test as a form of suicide. It's canon that he took the Test on a drunken dare, so saying otherwise is about as accurate as saying that Conan was actually a female hobbit. What's even more confusing to me is that the mention of Cayden Cailean is a throwaway reference that has nothing to do with the Location at all, it's just a date-marker. It's like saying "four years before Nixon murdered Nelson Mandela..." and then spending the rest of the text describing the Watergate Hotel. I don't get it. And it makes me think, "if I assigned you something, I'd really have to scrutinize anything you said relating to world canon."

ok... just to be clear considering he can't defend himself

And I know you made the Cannon... but there is at least one place where it says that the reasons why Cayden took the Testwas becuase he was rebuffed by Calistria... will need to check the source.

Edit: ok this is not in Cayden's entry in the PF Campaign Setting

I am almost sure i read it somewhere related to Calistria... and those who amde the temple might think so... but you are right... this is an unimportant data... except in one regard... to give a date to the temple's construction... which would be more than 1000 years

darn, i am late as always

Happy birthday clark

clearer, yes, thanks :)

downloaded both for the archive :) Will see to use it for the silver coin story a friend is developing... either way you will find it soon in PF Chronicler

its Twilight.. this time i can do nothing but agree with Mr. Frost

it looks great Cmh!, but could you make the background on the side with the face a bit clearer (just like the waters below the bridge) that way the face would look better 8it loses itself a bitin the gray)

thanks :)

Seth, CJack awesome works :)

edit: sort of like this: Coin

I will give it a shot, any particular picture you would like me to use? and what color do you want

it.

Oh, and what do you want on the other side?

Silver, White or Silver Like

mmm i would need to look fora woman's head to send to you, its a womans generic face

this is supposed to be a coin from magnimat, maybe the othe side has either a spire or an image of aincomplete bridge

would say an angel
but the golden coin has an angel instead of the head

I do like both this lists :D

Let's see... were I commissioning this book today, the 10 chapters would be...

1: Dryads
2: Satyrs
3: Nymphs
4: Pixies
5: Redcaps
6: Quicklings
7: Gremlins
8: Leprechauns
9: Mites
10: Nerieds

For an equally intriguing "Mythic Monsters Revisited" I would probably go with:

1: Kraken
2: Medusa/Gorgon
3: Centaur
4: Basilisk
5: Lamia
6: Hydra
7: Couatl
8: Chimera
9: Sphinx
10: Harpy

William, first and most important, best wishes to you and your wife, its excellent news that they found it so quickly and that i can be attended. About forming a family... i think i understand how its the situation is sad, so I wish the best in solving it, there are many ways, the most important thing is that your wife and you are well, that would be a good begining for happiness :)

about the ettiquete of the APs. Well its a gift, you can't continue to keep a ssucription so they gave you one so you could keep getting the sourcebooks... but... I do not think the one who gave you the gift would consider it in bad form if you take his gift and get the core Pathfinder RPG... in the end its the basis of everything else... without it it will eb ahrder to play with the AP, after all :P

don't get the campaign setting... yet... they are plannign a revision.. better wait for it to be out and you to be in better economical shape :)

my best wishes.

unless they drink the blood :D

that is why katanas are cool.. you don't need to clean them... just m,ove them quickly and they would be clean :D

You cannot argue with my superior opinions, unenlightened Andoren fool! ;P

actually I am from Lastwall were we are unbiased but still clear and determined, yet we don't have faction symbol.. so i took this while we get our Lady's Sword as blessing for our devotion...

still too see the Whispering Tyrant fall to our Lady's Sword and her old general Deese would be much superior. In its defect P.N. Elrod who did a wonderful work to portray Strahd von Zarovich (yes I am more a ravenloft than FR guy :P)

Kevin Mack wrote:
Hmm not to sure on that one. handled incorrectly all you will end up with is a dead game as your players think you are trying to intentionally screw them over.

one thing is that by taking this cheap or easier steps they might be strengthening the lesser evil, while taking good actions weaken both evils...

it doesn't need to get the PCs killed... just show how strengthening evil may be not the best idea... unless you are allying with that side of course :P

Meepo... I do like that idea

I agree with both Jason and Abraham...

i know the PC are there to solve the APs... but both undermining every possible good ally and trowing sand to character eyes is a bit cheesy in the end, and repetitive...

one of our group who actually DM some adventures main complain is that while Paizo adventures have awesome stories... they are all beyond the players reach... most of it is where they will never see it... and its a shame...

and again, i agree an option where the other solution is defeat... its irrelevant, there is no freedom to act, the idea is not to make it sparkle world... but a campaign where heroes could resist temptation, instead of accepting it in order to solve the story would be worth it... so bag is that Galahad was the only one to retrieve the chalice because he was the only one able to resist every temptation in his way, while better and more experienced knights lost their way?

18DELTA wrote:
I agree. Let Ed Greenwood write it!

Please not Greenwood, he has a good things... but he is the man of Elminster... a novel for the Whispering Tyrant requires something that gets into the horror of the situation.

Gene DeWeese, who writed about the other great lich, Azalin.

tsk tsk
patience
there would be an announcement.. we still have to wait for the actual novel... despair after you know the release date, not before :P

Charles, I think we are all open to other ways to do this. No one liked having to do this. In this case the sanction as advertised (and as repeated in the "this is your only warning" thread) was a DQ. But a discussion of other alternatives would be interesting and valuable. However, in my view, I still feel this has happened so infrequently as to be not that necessary to have alternatives. I am going to guess it doesn't happen again this year.

Okay, alternatives: What about 10% of your vote multiplied by the Round number and number of previous infractions? So if it's your first offence in the contest in Round 2, 20% of all votes cast for your entry in that Round go bye-bye. If it's your second offence in the contest commited in Round 5 (showing hopeless unprofessonalism) 100% of your votes are gone. (Third offence, and you're out, to save the maths headaches, and since that's what they do in baseball... )

Edit:
The 10% is an arbitary figure, as a starting point for any discussion for this idea.

I think Clark is right...

the rules are simple and clear, the warnings were sent... it was unfortunate that this happened and one must applaud Lief for his professional response to all this situation. Man good luck next year, we loved your work and hope to see more.

Showing what happened or giving small infractions instead of stopping this from happening only would begin expeculation as how much I can say during around before actually being punished or how much punishment i can take. This contest is for the opportunity for a contract that might open other doord as Neil and others have shown us.

And one of the requisities for such job is to know to follow rules. So a DQ while sad was fair, and as Clark I believe this won't be repeating in a long time. Which is good for all.

Motive?

The REAL question is what alignment Jason Nelson is?

Well Dungeon Master does come with the "Any Evil" alignment prerequisite. The only question is whether he's Lawful Evil or Chaotic Evil. (The League of Dungeon Masters does not allow Neutral fence sitters)

Gary Gygax for instance was strongly Lawful Evil. A fellow I knew who ran a game store in Pompton Lakes New Jersey and who boasted 25 percent fatality in each of his game sessions (his players long wise to him had resorted to literally mimeographing thier character sheets, in a sense these people were pioneering the clones of Paranoia) was clearly Chaotic Evil.

is well known that Boomer is CN in every sense... his madness pervades more than his evil... and there is of course the ancient knowledge of the LN GM... the mythical Rule Lawyers...

I'll be doing my best to keep as much of Alkenstar's flavor as possible... but the simple fact is that it's a sore thumb. It doesn't really match the rest of Golarion in a lot of ways... and it needs to since it's part of the world. I understand that the region has its fans and admirers, and it's not gonna go away... but it is going to change. My job is to make sure it changes so that it fits into the world in a way that isn't awkward while at the same time minimizing the impact on those who enjoy the region. We'll see if I did a good job with the revision once the new PCCS is out... but listening to folks on these threads is helping a LOT.

fair is fair :)

lets see where this take us

i only know WE 'demand' more intel on the area! now that is going to be smoother it shoudl be less of a problem, doesn't it?
