Suggestion
Spoiler: Since you have an android PC one thing I suggest (which I wish I had done) is have the body that the android PC is using actually be the remains of Cassandalee (or if it is a male android change Cassandalee into a male android). It would still allow Cassandalee to be the AI (since in the neurocam she downloaded her earlier consciousness) and the PC (since when androids "die" the can reboot and a new consciousness/soul takes over). I could imagine the confrontation with Hellion would be interesting, he could call the android PC sister/brother and say that "Unity has been searching for you". You would just have to remember that where they normally find the destroyed remains of Cassandalee in book 3 that it wouldn't be there, so perhaps they could watch a video in the security office of Cassandalee dying in the room and then some time later rising back up. This would mean there were some further incarnations between Cassandalee's death and your PC's birth.

Book Three
Spoiler: Ilarris Zeleshi is a great NPC to torment your players with. She is very good at deception so she should have a good chance to lie to your players and perhaps misdirect them towards another as being the spy. She is also very vindictive so if they do uncover her she will be motivated to do them harm, though likely not directly.
In my game the PCs suspected her but she talked her way out of a fight and then escaped. Since they had discussed their origins in Torch she made her way there and talked Val Baine into coming with her to join the Technic League. This will lead to increased motivation to infiltrate the Technic League and boy do my PCs want to kill Ilarris now.

I will start off:
Thanks Erik Mona for hosting the miniature trading event, it was a blast. Thanks Skeeter Green for bringing the majority of said traded miniatures. Thanks to my Pathfinder Society GMs:
Justin Riddler for being generous with his dice. Majuba for sharing his delicious goblin brains. The Emerald Spire Authors who were all very generous with their time and were willing to sign my book. All of the other players at my tables. All the other great people I met around the hotel. Overall a great con which reminds me why I love the hobby and the people who both make and play it. I can't wait until next year.

I really like the miniatures. Most of the paints are well done (much better than Legends of Golarion). I am just not sure I like the new distribution of the cases with less sculpts. I ended up with quite a few sculpts that I had way too many of (especially the larges). Not sure what to do with 4 wollipeds and 4 catoblepas. Otherwise I really like this set. The dragonrider is great. I also really like the dragon legion, which I believe were originally rare but I think changed to common. The drakeland barbarians and pale tower guards also are excellent (the paint inconsistencies I see actually work to make them individuals).

Don't deal with out of character issues in character. He is obviously not caring if he is disrupting the game, so you will have to ask him to leave if he won't change his behavior.

Aasimar Life Oracle. The Aasimar favored class bonus can add 1/2 level to 1 revelation which should be channel. By level 5 you channel like a 7th level cleric, plus charisma is all you really need so not MAD like a cleric.

Mischief Mondragon wrote: Thanks for all the feedback. I will take another look at the snake and crane styles. Here is my updated build incorporating Crane style. Level 1 will still rely on using a Greatsword until I get my first monk level at 2. His stats would be:
Traits: Reactionary and Freed Slave (Andoran = +1 Will Saves) Fighter (Brawler) 1: Dodge (Human), Two-Weapon Fighting (Fighter), Weapon Focus (unarmed).
With this character I get good offense and decent defense (Crane Style, Toughness, and Natural Armor). My main concern is with the cost of increasing the to hit and damage of unarmed with Amulet of Mighty Fists. This increases the problems with DR that any TWF gets. I could also use punching daggers of different materials to beat DR from material and piercing. Any other suggestions?

Hi All, I am planning a unarmed fighter for PFS and would like some advice on my build. I see him as a cagey former pit-fighter who uses his scarred visage to intimidate others (out of combat) and wades into combat swinging. The build is designed to build up both his unarmed attack damage and also build off of intimidation (i.e. Dazzling Display and the Boar Style feats). I chose Human since it is pretty feat intensive, though the bonus to intimidate from half-orc could be helpful instead of the 1st level feat Intimidating Prowess. His stats would be:
Traits: Reactionary and Freed Slave (Andoran = +1 Will Saves) Fighter (Brawler) 1: Power Attack (Human), Two-Weapon Fighting (Fighter), Intimidating Prowess.
First level will 2-hand using a greatsword, after which I will rely mostly on two-weapon fighting unarmed. This build doesn’t have Improved Grapple, which may hurt (looking for advice on that as well). Any advice would be great. Thanks. |
