In the new Ultimate Campaign rulebook under the mass combat rules, large numbers of troops are divided into units. But how many individual creatures/soldiers is that? I cannot find a solid number anywhere.

Having just read Horsemen of the Apocalypse, I noticed a variant of Death Knell that could kill several individuals at once. If it did, would the casters bonus' stack? I suspect that the answer is no, at least for the hit points (temporary hit points are not supposed to stack) and the strength enhancement bonus (same type bonus' are not supposed to stack either. The bonus to caster level is untyped, and therefore potentially stackable, but a few slain enemies could give you an insanely high CL.

So my original question, do they stack?

I have decided to play a cleric (of Urgathoa, undead lord archetype)/necromancer in an upcoming gestalt Carrion Crown AP campaign, with a focus on creating undead and debuffing.

I have the crunch of the character worked out, but I need help with the fluff, particularly how to avoid the angry horde of villagers with lit torches and pitchforks?

Just an initial assessment, as I haven't had time to playtest it yet, but a sorcerer using words of power would seem to play out a little like a warmage from 3.5. Ultimate versatility on the battlefield (with the right words), but little in the way of utility magic.
