I apologize if there is already a thread for this sort of thing, or if someone has already made a similar suggestion.
I've taken a close look at the map packs (and used them in an adventure), and although they are of good quality and perfect for some folks, I have found them a bit wanting. My issue is that the smaller-card format is awkward to actually play on the modular format makes the addition of specific, finer detail troublesome at best. I have also used the Rackham map cards which are absolutely beautiful, but are very congested due to it's adherence to a more "realistic" scale without too much mind the maneuverability of pieces in a combat situation (which may be fine for the game it was intended for). Finally I have used the D&D Minis maps extensively and love them for their size, mindfulness of combat and their functional beauty, but sadly they are made for DDM balanced play in mind and are not always suitable to many RPG-style encounters.
So after turning it around in my head a bit, I've decided that the perfect map product (for me at least) would possess the following characteristics:
1) Larger maps so that they don't move about when being used, also allowing for more artistic detail. Perhaps between the Rackham & DDM maps in size.
2) Connectability mindfulness, similar the Rackham tiles, but perhaps not as limiting as some of your map packs.
3) Depicting such RPG staples as: roadside inns, small crypts, cabins, sewers, etc.

This sort of product could be sold in an interemdiate fashion to your current Map Packs and the WotC Fanastic Locations in that you could have 4 or so double-sided maps, with each side being able to be connected in 2 separate settings (1 side graveyard, the other sewers, for instance).
