About Megan Robertson

Not good at talking about myself... started role-playing in 1977 when I went to university (Cardiff), haven't really stopped since. True to form, met my husband in a castle dungeon (Treasure Trap, the first live role-play) in 1982.

After a doctorate in botany (York), turned to computing and worked in a software house writing planned maintenance systems, then wandered into this new-fangled web thing early and after some freelance work became webmaster at the local college, where I hit on the idea of using the technology to support and enhance education, rather than just inform people where to get it! This led to my last role as 'ILT Champion' (how's that for a job title?) at Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College, teaching computing and spreading the word about using technology in support of learning, and earning the Fellowship of the British Computer Society along the way... made 'redundant' in December 2009, and have spent most of the time since job-hunting with a couple of temporary contracts as a lecturer at West Lancashire College and Warrington Collegiate until landing what bodes fair to be another dream job in the Computer Science Department at Aston University (Birmingham, UK) in October 2014, creating distance learning courses.

And the role-playing continues, with the Friday night face-to-face group and several forum and e-mail games online... and of course my website RPG Resource - where I'm attempting to list and review everything role-playing I can find. Hence a lot of reviews on here too. I was an ENnies Judge for 2010 and 2013, which only added to the 'review pile'.

If I get bored, I turn to my other site, Medals of the World.
