Anyone played around with this? I got HP Lovecraft for a letter I was writing and cory doctorow for some rough analysis I did of a shareholders agreement.

Depending on admission deadlines you could also retake the LSAT in February.

The first time I wrote the lsat I got

Spoiler:

151

The last time I wrote it I got

Spoiler:

176

My personal experience was that for me, a month of prep was enough time to do much better. The LSAT is not an IQ test, it can be practiced / learned.
Everyone is different and I'm not trying to knock any preparation you have already done or your score.

Look; I've been fair and willing to listen up to this point, but if we're going to do dramatizations, I'm going to put my foot down and demand use of puppets.

Can I be Statler?

I really liked HMM and I'm looking forward to running it. The whole torture porn complaint was a little bit of a surprise to me. The ogres are vile and disgusting, and that's exactly how they should be. Paizo is doing a really good job redefining the classic monsters. After playing the adventure, the PCs are going to stop saying 'Sweet, ogres, easy xp, lets rush em' and start saying.. 'ogre infested mountains? I'm saving my last scorching ray for myself just in case I get grabbed.'.

The first installment definitely takes a few nods from Braavos, and even more from Camorr (and if you haven't yet read "The Lies of Locke Lamora" it's delicious).

And yes...intrigue abounds in Edge of Anarchy...I FINALLY finished the manuscript and sent it in last week...there is much urban madness and back-stabbery, and the PCs get hip deep in murky politics pretty quickly.

I'm 2/3 of the way through 'locke lamora' - this might make me go back to it and finish it in Dec

Lies is well worth the read, the sequel isn't as good, but still entertaining.

I'll be sticking with my pathfinder subscription regardless of what edition it uses. My gaming group isn't tied to a specific system, most of us will play whatever the current DM wants to run. We won't be rushing to convert to 4.0, but if it is fun and novel, someone in the group will buy it and run it. If Paizo decides to do a 3.75 I'd buy it and run Pathfinder with it.

... but what's your opinion of Pathfinder so far? I've skimmed the boards some and it seems that most like it, but I wanted to know what other's really think. You know, the good, the bad, the munchkin. I am considering a subscription because I enjoyed reading the Adventure Paths (I'm running STAP now) and have high hopes for Pathfinder, but I can't afford to throw my money away on a sub-par product (see the last days of 2nd Edition for example). Let me know what you think.

I think Pathfinder is on par with Ptolus. Definitely worth the money.
