Thanks,

Tim will be pleased also (he's currently writing the Season II opening... :)

Thaaanks! :)

Thanks Liz, I think it would be perfect for the S&S upcoming AP. Anyway here's an image to sweeten your appetite.

Thanks Endzitgeist. A well-done and accurate review, as usual :)

Thanks for the review!

I agree with you, this one is very good and... unusual. I enjoyed Rob's work very much.

Any chance of a discount for early PDF buyers?

(Sorry, I had to ask. ;) )

We have this solution. For now it's the easiest way to do it.

I haven't ran Fangs From the Past yet, but I bought it and I like it. There's supposed to be a sequel coming out in February, also Beginner Box-compatible.

The next adventure is named Curse of the Sickled Hand, going in playtest in a couple of days.

It isn't exactly a sequel, but it shares the same starting location (the village of Gafolweed), which will be also detailed in an upcoming product.

People who played Fangs from the Past will find familiar NPCs and places in the next adventure.

How's this going is it ready for release yet? Bought Fangs and I'm excited about Curse.

Playtest ended yesterday (we had tons of fun!). There are a couple of encounters that just rock!

The adventure will go to editing very soon. If all goes well it should be out in 3 weeks or so. I will do my best to publish it as soon as possible, but we have quality standards and some work must be done! :)

Victor Zepeda wrote:
Is this good for players that are already 2nd level and close to 3rd.

Would say yes. Raising slightly the level for this adventure means adding one monster to some encounters, nothing more.

Dream Daemon wrote:

I'm exploring options. Lulu doesn't allow gift certificates, so it is not easy as it seems. I'm willing to do it and hope to come with a solution as soon as possible.

KTFish7 wrote:
Gotta tell you, I really wish there was a print option for this product...was all set to purchase it when I realized it was only available as a PDF, that kind of kills the Pawns, which were what got me to stop and look at the product in the first place.

There is, as pod here

Fangs from the Past

Zaister wrote:
Awesome! Will this be available in print, too? Perhaps even as a bundle?

It will be available at Lulu, as soon as I receive the proof copy, I believe a month or so. We are also considering some sort of discount for those who bought the pdf version. Details still to come.

The most critically acclaimed campaign now completely converted to Pathfinder. This huge, 320 pages, book contains six adventures forming a complete campaign.

Already own the 3.5 version of these adventures? Fear not! All the Pathfinder conversions are now available for FREE download.

Thanks Tim, for jumping in.

I'll only add that the first season adventures range in 1-4 levels. This way it's easy to order them in different ways and even exclude adventures that don't suit your gaming style. You can easily build your own campaign within each season.

They even have something from Willie Walsh! Most Excellent!

Willie Walsh's writing makes Sir Wulf channel Bill and Ted. It's very embarrasing...

I grew up with Willie's adventures on Dungeon Magazine, I absolutely love his style... can't wait to read his next adventure.

Awesome!

Back to the topic... will there be sequels to this adventure?

(The title certainly gives the impression...)

You'll have to talk with Tito Leati about this... for sure there will be more adventures starting in Gafolweed and therefore more details on the hamlet...

didnt know you 0one chaps were on here. makes sense i guess!

bought a handful of your map downloads the other day, absolutely thrilled. (hate drawing maps) i'll be back for more no doubt. top notch stuff!

big ups etc.

Basic Paths: Fangs from the Past POD edition at Lulu

Twin Dragons wrote:

So approximately 1-2 products a month?

I think one product every two month is a bit more realistic, as we still release one Sinking adventure per month. Our release schedule is quite busy as we usually release a product every two weeks.

Twin Dragons wrote:

FYI, more Basic Paths products are on the way...
How often are these set to be released?

We have two more adventures still in the works. The first one should be out at end of January or early February. Plus we have a color map folio detailing Gafolweed, the hamlet were the PCs base of operations is set, which did its first appearance in Fangs from the Past.

Zdan wrote:

This looks...amazing! This is what I meant by BB Adventures/Adventure Paths. I like what I am seeing and I think it's time to buy. Quick question - ever thought to make a BB Plus supplement? More levels, more classes etc.?

Not at the moment. For now, we focus on adventures and all sort of material you need to run them (read: maps, pawns and battlemaps).

Zaister wrote:
Oh, very nice. Will that be available as a Print/PDF bundle possibly?

Yes it will.

The Road To Revolution will be also published as a single volume (400+ pages) featuring the whole campaign fully converted to PFRPG... (thanks Oliver :)

If you're willing to wait a few months, I'm sure there'll be some third party publisher producing supplementary "Beginner Box Plus" products soon enough.

Thanks Liz! :)

Thanks for the extensive review!

Among the other things I agree with you on one point: Tim Hitchcock did a great job on this adventure.

Dream Daemon wrote:

This is excellent news.

On a related note, are there plans for a second season?

Sure they are! While we have three episodes to go for the first season, I already have on the desk one sweet second season adventure.

The next episode is written by me, and will be a fast paced, action packed adventure. The last two episodes are written by Tim Hitchcock, are tied together to form a two-part adventure, and, of course will set the mood for the next season.

We are already planning the final story in which the truth about the sinking will be revealed... But now it's too early to talk about that ;)

Ryan, It would be really interesting if 3PP publishers could produce content and sell it, just as it happens in RPG business...

Dream Daemon wrote:
Okay, between your Sinking adventure series and this product, I am quickly becoming a huge fan of your company. Thank you.

First thing that jumped out to me is that this book has Triple-A art and layout. You should give credit to your artists and layout artists because this pdf is easy to read, the colour palette is very well chosen.

Thanks! :)

Those preview pages look pretty, and by Tito Leati you say, and an expansion appendix for the full game you say...

Sounds interesting... well from what is on the cover anyways.

It is a very nice beginners adventure, you can't go wrong with Tito's adventures. A nice mix of combat, investigation and puzzle-solving. More details to come...

Dream Daemon wrote:
I just picked this up along with Infestation adventure and I really like them both. I hope 0one thinks about making some more as the writing was pretty good and the adventures seem fun. I plan to run them in the future.

Glad you liked 'em.

We are putting these out at 1 per month rate, last one is Tito Leati's "The Plumb Line", which is very cool. Next (at the end of november) we will have "Politics Unusual" by Rob Manning, which will be a... unusual adventure, we might say.. :)
