Description:
Marwan is a wide, fleshy man, who has a slightly pudgy look to him. He dresses in fine gear when he can afford it, and loves nothing more than fine living. Despite his looks, he is quick as a cat, and has honed his acrobatic skills with years of sailing around the Splintered Isles.

Background:
Marwan was the younger son of a Mellabad trading family. As a child he often accompanied relatives on sailing voyages to acquaint him with the families' business. He began a love of adventure and the sea from this. He did have a reckless nature, and he often got into scrapes at the various ports of call. As he matured into a young man, Marwan developed a love for carousing and the 'fast' life. He began hanging out with the rougher and commoner elements of society, where he began his education in lockpicking (more for a thrill than actuall need). Once his family discovered his shameful practices, he was disowned. Carrying little more that what was on his back, he hired on to an outgoing trade vessel as a common sailor and never looked back.
