Purple Duck Games is proud to present the four release in the Fehr's Ethnology series. Fehr's Ehtnology: Dhosari profiles the dhosari race for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. The dhosari (singular and plural) are a bizarre, ancient race that are the original inhabitants of the island of Erkusaa. They have been enslaved for millennia by the erkunae, a near-human race that has gained power through arcane pacts with extra dimensional beings. Dhosari are a large, strong race, but have little magical power and have been used as house slaves and shock troops by their masters; in the recent past they have established a few, small, independent communities on nearby islands and on the mainland. They have four arms that enable them to do tasks unheard of for normal bipeds. If the dhosari gain their freedom, and the acceptance of the core races, they might achieve a golden age of their own. This release includes:
Available at Rpgnow Paizo soon. Plus at Paizo we have a 35% off sale until Monday and Purple Mountain 2 is now live! Purple Mountain II: Ruins of the Dwarven Delve is a Pathfinder Roleplaying Game compatible module designed for four 2nd-level characters that uses the medium XP advancement track. Play it in any campaign setting with a mountain-based megadungeon, or as a stand-alone dungeon with a mega-dungeon feel. Included are guidelines for linking it to "Purple Mountain I: Temple of the Locust Lord" as well as for introducing this level on its own, a new undead, and multiple NPCs. Purple Mountain II: Ruins of the Dwarven Delve throws your party into a ruined dwarven settlement haunted by the restless dead, insidious fungi, sadistic fey, and more. Devious mechanisms bar the way and the delve's strange, feuding inhabitants loom on all sides while the party search for the valuable secrets of the ruins. The Purple Mountain series is designed to be a classic mega-dungeon. You know the kind... It doesn't have a grand plot or even a consistent theme level to level. Instead, it has pathways to the subterranean realms, prisons for demons, ancient ruins, lost civilizations, legendary weapons, mysterious magic, mines, slave pits, elemental nodes, water-filled passages, mazes, trick doors, traps, haunted levels, classic monsters (ropers, trapper, mimics, otyughs [especially otyughs], owlbears), dragons, monsters too big to have ever fit down those hallways, and artifacts! A classic mega-dungeon with everything wrong and right about it! Paizo soon and please remember to take advantage of our 35% off sale Monstrous Races: The Third Party by Sam Hing continues our series dedicated to giving players more options when it comes to their fantasy races. Within its pages you will find alternate racial features, favored class options and roleplaying advice for thirteen additional races. With information to make all the races playable at first level, Monstrous Races: The Third Party gives you access to races previously restricted to as monster use and additional races created by third party publishers. Included in this release are: Grindylow, Half-Ogre, Ifrit, Kval, Mahrog, Oakling, Obitu, Ogrillon, Oread, Saurian, Svirfneblin, Squole and Taddol. If you are looking for more traditional options check out the first Monstrous Races for the Aasimar, Drow, Duergar, Goblin, Hobgoblin, Kobold, Tengu, and Tiefling or our second Monstrous Race for information Dark Folk, Dhampir, Forlarren, Living Ghoul, Lizardfolk, Sahuagin, Skulk and Slyph. For immediate release: Fehr's Ehtnology: Erkunae profiles the erkunae race for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. The erkunae are a race of people similar in many ways to humans, but they have allowed sorcerous pacts with outsiders to alter their race substanially. They hail from the mist-covered island of Erkusaa. They spend much of their time plotting against each other instead of enslaving nearby nations as they once did. The erkunae have access to many magical and martial resources, and are very skilled in both disciplines. They keep slaves, both mundane and magical, and have a reputation of aloof cruelty and a certain alienness of attitude. Many within their society are beginning to question their age-old traditions, and perhaps, change may yet visit the island of the erkunae. This release includes:

Available at Paizo, Rpgnow and Gumroad There will be no more new releases this week as I need to work on making edits to a few products. - Purple Duck Mark In order to explore multiple venues to make out products available we have recently started to list our products with the gumroad service. We have not been very successful at getting the word out, so we have decided to offer this promotion. For the month of May, you can purchase all three issues of David Ross's Random Encounters Remastered series for $4.50. You just need to head to this link to make your purchase. Random Encounters Remastered has been a good series for us and Dark Mistress, Endzeitgeist and Gozunja I believe reviewed it well. If you've wanted to pick up a copy of Random Encounters Remastered here is your opportunity to get all three issues for the price of one. Thank you for your consideration. I'm hoping we will have a new Fehr's Ethnology up on Monday or so. It's in the queue here and we even added age, height and weight tables for Endzeitgeist this time. The trip back to civilization doesn't always have to be a boring run to the supply goods store or magic shop. It can be just as fun as a harrowing dash through the dungeon. What makes the city fun are the people in it. Memorable Townsfolk presents twelve NPCs players won't forget. Each comes with extensive background text, unique personality, complete stat block and full-color illustration. Memorable Townsfolk also contains tables to generate random NPCs with unique desires and personalities as well as four pre-generated settlements PCs can visit, explore and get into trouble. Use them to create a campaign world or simply to enliven parts of an adventure that needs a bit role-playing excitement. Author: David Nicholas Ross
Out Now at Paizo and Gumroad. Its uploaded at Rpgnow as well but they are down for now. For an extremely limited time, we have reduced the cost of Legendary I:Legendary Blades to just $1. The fifth Monsters Unleashed features updated statistics for the asnae, gnarl, ith'n ya'roo, mezadevs, and striga. All have been updated to the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game ruleset by Stefen Styrsky and Mark Gedak and illustrated by Gary Dupuis. Thank you to Kyle Bentley, Kenneth Axel Carlsson, Sam Hing and Tom Baumbach for selecting the monsters for this issue. For a little while Purple Duck Games got held up by some technical things in the background but those troubles seem to be at least partially behind us so I'm please to be able to tell you about a number of our newest releases. Otyughnomicon: Flensing Otyugh is the newest release in our line of templates and encounters known as the otyughnomicon. This volume was written by Sam Hing and it features the flensing creature template, two templated otyughs (aberration and magical beast versions), a wizard tower encounter complete with an air elemental, a troll and a handful of flensing otyughs. As always, this release contains new art from Michael Scotta. We have Marc Radle's Legendary VI: Legendary Armor that earned five star reviews from Megan and Endzeitgeist as well as a 4 star review from KTFish7 Then there is Stefen and my A Score of Trapped Chests that garnered a 4.5 from Enzeitgeist and a 5 star rating from Gozunja. Finally Perry Fehr has launched a line of new races known as Fehr's Ethnology for us with two new races the arctic beastmen known as the Ith'n Ya'roo and the subterranean killers known as the Hhundi Fehr's Ethnology is available by subscription at Rpgnow as well. I'm not sure how to run a subscription in the Paizo store or my Gumroad store. Purple Duck Games is pleased to release the second in Perry Fehr's racial supplement series. Fehr's Ehtnology: Hhundi profiles the hhundi race for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. This release includes: - ecology of the hhundi
Out Now at Paizo and other vendors. Fehr's Ethnology: The Ith'n Ya'roo is the first of (hopefully) a series of racial and ecological treatments of new and strange player character races for use in the Pathfinder Roleplaying system. The Ith'n ya'roo are a race of beings from the arctic wastes of the far north, whose limited resources have not kept them from having a thriving culture. They use the bones of their prey and their own spirituality to survive in a harsh land. This and each ethnology gives game statistics, traits, new feats, and even alternative racial traits to create a new and different type of player character race, or even NPCs and adversaries in your campaign. Your purchase comes with all of the information on how the Ith'n ya'roo function in their world, and their reasons for joining into the fantasy world at large! A detailed picture of a member of their race allows your imagination to run wild with the fascinating race that is the Ith'n ya'roo. Pick yours today!
We have all heard tales of the heroic young adventurer who dons magical armor from times long forgotten. That adventurer grows in power and acclaim alongside the magical armor until both reach their true potention. Within this product you will find 15 legendary armors that will grow in power alongside your Pathfinder Roleplaying Game character. The time for disposable magic items is over. Author: Marc Radle
Available at Paizo, Rpgnow or Direct from Us I need to get back to work on the next release now. Thank you for your consideration. - Mark Gedak, Purple Duck Games. Purple Duck Games is pleased to announce the newest collaboration of Stefen Styrsky and Mark Gedak. A Score of Trapped Chests provides you with twenty chests and containers that possess mechanical, magical or monstrous aspects. This collection contains art by Carlos “Celurian” Torreblanco, Marc Radle and Michael Scotta. On top of the twenty new traps there is also:
Available now: Direct from Purple Duck Games. I'll add links to Rpgnow and Paizo once I get the product set up their so you are able to shop where you want. Attention Publishers! We have recently begun to offer our stock art here at the Paizo store. Right now we have up thirty-one pieces of line art by Marc Radle but hope to add additional art over the next few days including some of the monster work done by Gary Dupuis and Michael Scotta for our encounters and Monsters Unleashed lines. Currently all this art is also available at Rpgnow and our new Buy From Us page on the Grand OGL Wiki. I seem to be unable to put this together. What is the difference between a spell trap and a magical device trap? Spell Traps: Spell traps produce the spell's effect. Like all spells, a spell trap that allows a saving throw has a save DC of 10 + spell level + caster's relevant ability modifier. Magic Device Traps: These traps produce the effects of any spells included in their construction, as described in the appropriate entries. If the spell in a magic device trap allows a saving throw, its save DC is (10 + spell level) Ă— 1.5. Some spells make attack rolls instead. -----------

Today will be the last day to pick up Purple Mountain - Level One for free. I will be restoring its proper price tonight after work. Additionally, I'm going to be retiring our other old freebies that are hideous looking (like DM Sketchpad) or painfully out of date (like the spell lists). Basically, any old freebie product that doesn't conform to our new common look and feel. Grab them if you want them because time is running out. For a very limited time, the first volume of our Purple Mountain megadungeon is available as a free download (I admit, I'm stealing this promotion idea from Robert Thomson of 4 Winds Fantasy Gaming but I think he'll forgive me) I've had level 10 of Purple Mountain turned in my a freelancer recently and I'm looking for two or three groups to run it in the month of February and send me their play notes/feedback. If you have the time and you want to help make Purple Duck the best megadungeon (in twenty parts) please drop me an email gedakm@gmail.com
[PDG] Even More Random Encounters Tables Remastered by David Nicholas Ross and a new Otyughnomicon by Sam Hing
Purple Duck Games is pleased to present out two newest releases. Even More Random Encounters Remastered is intended to provide GMs a detailed, comprehensive source for randomly generating unique encounters with a variety of interesting terrain features, NPCs and site-specific monsters. More than simply a bunch of tables, Random Encounters Remastered also presents rules, guidelines and advice for quickly creating interesting roleplaying and combat situations. Each volume of Random Encounters Remastered describes a number of adventure areas. These encompass common sites such as grand marketplaces, eerie woods, and windswept plains to more unusual locales such as planar strongholds, underworld battlefields and endless caverns. The areas can be further customized by adding new terrain features and hazards described in each book. The random monster generator for each setting is setup to automatically provide a CR-appropriate challenge for a party no matter their level so a GM doesn’t have to worry about encounters that are too easy or too hard. Wherever a party finds itself, the tables and rules in this book can help a GM construct a quick, memorable encounter. Adventure areas included: Bowels of the Earth, Endless Caravans, Highlands, Scorched Wastes, Teeming Veldt, and Windswept Plains. By David Nicholas Ross. Until DM or others send me a list of additional encounter areas this will be the last scheduled release in this line. [======================================================================] Otyughnomicon: Storm-Kissed Otyugh When I was a little kid, my brother introduced me to the game of Dungeons and Dragons. The local Co-Op has the Basic Game box set as well as a host of D&D action figures and toys. One of the toys that I was allowed to buy was a bendy Neo-Otyugh. Since those young days, the otyugh has always been my favourite monster of the Dungeons and Dragons and now Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. So it is with great joy that I release: Otyughnomicon: Typhoon-Kissed Otyugh! This product contains the storm-kissed creature template, two templated otyughs [aberration and magical beast versions], a tropical island encounter complete with a young bronze dragon, a typhoon-kissed otyugh and a tribe of grindylows. As usually, this release contains new art from Michael Scotta and tokens for the typhoon-kissed otyugh and a handful of grindylows. Written by Sam Hing. 1) Encounter Pages: Which is a pack of twelve encounters designed as either single events or side quest jumping on points. Encounters are a page in length and have full stats for their monsters. 2) Horrors of the GOW: Was our first horror supplement. We designed it early in the companies existence and had it out for Halloween. It is strongly influenced by the terrible horror movies Stefen and I watched and is occassionally goofy. It has sold well for us but repeated reviewed complained about the use of digital/photo art in the product. So we moved away from that for all future releases and eventually developed working relationships with other artist. Okay, we almost have everything transferred over to this site (although there are a couple things still in queue). Still without further ado, I'd like to introduce: 1) Forgotten Encounters: Forest: One of the first commercial releases that Stefen and I worked on together (and probably the reason PDG came into being) was Forgotten Foes by Tricky Owlbear and Headless Hydra Games. This massive tome updated many of the classic monsters that we felt were missing from the game with the launch of the bestiary. The Forgotten Encounters line are a 5 pack of encounters featuring a handful of the creatures in Forgotten Foes organized by terrain. Forests features araena, brownie, phrenic greymalkin, krenshars and spider eaters. Written by Mark Gedak
2) Forgotten Encounters: Underground: Features the crypt thing, decapus, delver, destrachan and grimlocks. Written by Mark Gedak
3) Forgotten Encounters: Urban: Features the devil doll, ravid, junk elemental, grig and hydrodaemon. Written by Stefen Styrsky
4) Monsters Unleashed V.1: Monsters Unleashed is the first volume of a series of mini-monster books set on updating many lost 3.X monsters. All the monster selected for this project were chosen by members of a monster update product we ran early in our existence. This issue has reimagined barrow wight, crystalline horror, devil dog, kech and two different dragonnels. Written by Mark Gedak and Stefen Styrsky
5) Otyughnomicon: Wyvern Spawn Otyugh: I have a problem. I can admit it. I'm fascinated by otyugh. It is my opinion that they are the best monster in the game and thus they get their own line. The Otyughnomicon are short products usually less than 10 pages. That feature a new or updated template plus other content. Wyvern Spawn Otyugh has a wyvern spawn template, examples on the standard and GOW otyugh, a mountain town, a tribe of pugwampis (who are my second favorite monster), and a magical quiver. Written by Mark Gedak
6) Otyughnomicon: Northern Waste Otyugh: Has the northern waste template, examples on the standard and GOW otyugh, a classed invulnerable rager barbarian otyugh and a bear shaman druid otyugh with polar bear minions. Six winter themed spells, an otyugh bloodline and associated bloodline spells. It looks like there are a couple of products tied up in the queue so there will be a It Came From the Back Catalog!!! - Part Three in the next day or so. Otherwise, I will be writing Purple Mountain - Level 1. - Mark Today marks the third release in Stefen Styrsky's Legendary Race line. Focusing on the cursed Rakshasa, Stefen provides players and gamemasters alike material to expand their game with rakshasa-themed content like: - A 10-level racial class for the Rakshasa
Check it out today! It is live now at ]Rpnow and hopefully soon at Paizo and at Lulu (once I get the fiddly bits figured out).
