"Tis a definite improvement" Marius jokes "As for this" he holds up the dagger and tests the edge "A piece of gaudy trash..I'm sure I'll find a use for it though" he grins at Delour who chokes back a giggle

"Don't go away mad, don't go away glad, don't go away bad, don't go away sad, just go away" Marius murmurs as Thesing leves in high dudgeon

"Pompous fool, I hope the watch sling him in jail."

Marius holds back a laugh at Delour's whispered comment.

"Aye how much was the take"

Marius grin as he caresses ample handfulls of the Para-Countess' flesh.."We...get...paid" he says with a dreamy look in his eyes.

Marius snorts loudly "Remember cousin..it does not take much to incur the wrath of a priest of Asmodeus"

Marius shoots a look at the directior that promises an interesting conversation once the final curtain has come down.

"That's the worst off it anyway" he says "Let's get it over with and then..It will be time for a strong drink...lot's of strong drink"

Marius steps up and launches what he hopes will be the final blow of this sordid affair.

Marius draws his Morning star hefting it in both hands snaps a hasty "Run girl" to Calsienca and charges the nearest Devil knowing this fight is heavily weighted against them.

Marius has been improving all through the play and Fiosa's spell helps him to an adequate performance in this final act

Marius nods in response to Waifs comment.."Aye Lass we wouldn't want you to get hurt..if anything gets past us..run"

"Well done everyone..Fiosa see to the wounded.." Marius picks up a cloth and wipes Devil ichor from his swords.

Marius unloads a hail of blows on the Lemure but his new sword fails to wound the thing and the other delivers but a scratch toit's unnatural hide

Marius engages another Lemure his silver sword weaving a scintillating patern of light as he carves the devil.

Marius scowls at his own feeble attack and launches a ferocious strike with both blades.

Marius steps up to the creature burbling in Infernal at Calsienca.. and wastes no time in stabbing it with his new Shortsword..however his lingering nausea makes the blow not as effective as he would have liked.

MWk Silver Short Sword 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 Damage 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 no reduction.

Marius manages to make his sickness look at least averagely good.He makes sure Drovalid gets the majority of the splatter.

He wipes his mouth with the back of his hand as the shapes begin to rise and then draws his blades in a fluid motion stepping to get out of the slippery part of the stage but keep them in weapons distance.

"Aroint thee, fiends..Arodens power shall show theee the way back to the pit."

"I think I'm up to a Lemure or two" Marius states flatly.."I'll need aid if it's anything nastier.Just how many different sorts of Devil are thare anyway?"

"I seem to be intact" Marius says

Marius hauls the nearly hysterical Drovalid out

then reaches down for Waif

Marius continues to spout Arodenite Aphorisms..or at least stuff he thinks could pass for them..he concentrates on talking about how the righteous cannot fall to the lure of lies(Asmodeus being, off course, the Prince of Lies) as he helps the others out.

Marius nods and attempts to climb from the belly of the beast...making the effort look easy he perches in the mouth and reaches bcck down to grab Calseinica

Marius takes a deep breath and hopes for the best as the curtain rises

Unfortunately his hopes are not realised and he suffers instant and almost fatal stage fright.

Marius shines his breatplate to within an inch of being blinding..He wears over that a surcoat with the symbol of Aroden..though he is not altogether unaware of the irony of a member of a dead house pretending to worship a dead god.

He strips down to breeches and boots and does a few limbering up exercises before he puts on his armour then he feels ready to face the crowds.

Nothing in Core about drunkeness but the GMG has this to say in the chapter on Drugs and addiction

Just like drugs, alcohol can be abused and have significant negative effects. In general, a character can consume a number of alcoholic beverages equal to 1 plus double his Constitution modifier before being sickened for 1 hour equal to the number of drinks above this maximum.
Particularly exotic or strong forms of alcohol might be treated as normal drugs. Those who regularly abuse alcohol might eventually develop a moderate addiction. (GMG pp236-237)

how many create water spells can Fiosa cast into the snake before the curtain goes up????

Marius comes to eat but the appearance of the Preceptor spoils his appitite also.His fists clench slightly and his eyes narrow on a spot just between the man's kidneys.However he gives no voice to his displeasure and returns his attention to the food when the cleric leaves.

Marius snorts at Waifs feeble attempts to get a rise out off him strips off his nice new expensive jacket and weapon belt and lays to with some ropes.(I knew profession Sailor would come in useful at some point)

He looks somewhat tired.If questioned about it he mutters something about older women having more stamina than he thought

I think we'll just fade to black on Marius and Delour.

Marius whispers something in the Vicecountesses ear and she giggles like a schoolgirl before they leave for a more private engagement.

As he leaves he gives Waif a "Well you have to do what you have to do" look
