Defense (subdomain of Protection)
Granted Powers: Your faith is your greatest source of protection, and you can use that faith to defend others. In addition, you receive a +1 resistance bonus on saving throws. This bonus increases by 1 for every 5 levels you possess.
Deflection Aura (Su): Once each day, you can emit a 20- foot aura for a number of rounds equal to your cleric level. Allies within the aura gain a +2 deflection bonus to AC and combat maneuver defense.
Aura of Protection (Su): At 8th level, you can emit a 30-foot aura of protection for a number of rounds per day equal to your cleric level. You and your allies within this aura gain a +1 deflection bonus to AC and resistance 5 against all elements (acid, cold, electricity, fire, and sonic). The deflection bonus increases by +1 for every four cleric levels you possess beyond 8th. At 14th level, the resistance against all elements increases to 10. These rounds do not need to be consecutive.

Granted Powers: You can baffle and befuddle foes with a touch or a smile, and your beauty and grace are divine.
Adoration (Su): As an immediate action, you can attempt to thwart a melee or ranged attack that targets you. This ability functions as sanctuary, but only against one individual attack. You must use the ability after the attack is declared but before the roll is made. The creature attacking you receives a Will save to negate this effect. If a creature has more than one attack, this ability only affects one of the attacks. You can use the ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier. This is a mind-affecting effect.
Charming Smile (Sp): At 8th level, you can cast charm person as a swift action, with a DC of 10 + 1/2 your cleric level + your Wisdom modifier. You can only have one creature charmed in this way at a time. The total number of rounds of this effect per day is equal to your cleric level. The rounds do not need to be consecutive, and you can dismiss the charm at any time as a free action. Each attempt to use this ability consumes 1 round of its duration, whether or not the creature succeeds on its save to resist the effect.

Appearance: Marianne is a beautiful woman, taller than most men and curvasciously with a well muscled frame. She has sleek auburn hair that reaches past her shoulders and is usually tied back, and brown velvet eyes. Her clothing is always elaborate with intricate patterns and designs, although she follows her own aesthetics rather than worrying about current fashions.
Personality: A true Andoran born and raised in a family that proudly heralds its blood ties with Lady Liberty herself - they are descended from her younger brother - Marianne believes passionetly in democracy and self determination. She is kind, but also rather squeamish about ugly people and things, she would rather be charitable and helpful to things that are beautiful or cute if she can help it - though she would be disturbed at the articulation of such a thought. She loves art, and was drawn into the worship of Shelyn through it. Always a great romatic she dreams of having great adventures and helping people, and having tempestuous relationships with great men - though she never really sees herself as settling down.
Backstory: Growing up in a wealthy merchant family Marianne had everything she could want, a loving family, even a pony. She went to school and found intellectual pursuits easy enough, but rather tedious. It was her art classes she truly loved, though she had little talent.
She began spending more and more time with young artists, having passionate affairs with several, and frequenting art galleries and thus ended up in frequent contact with followers of Shelyn. Gradually she came to worship Shelyn, and found herself drawn in by the goddess of love and beauty's tenants and philosophies, and finally gifted with her magics.
When she told her family about her choice to devote herself to Shelyn's faith, thye were surprised and dismayed, but eventually supportive. Her mother still wants her to marry a nice man, which Shelyn encourages, and settle down, which Marianne is not so keen on.
When she suggested she would be going into danger to help people her parents insisted that she undergo some martial training, and she has just completed three months of rigorous instruction under a retired Pathfinder named Byden Brant. As a follower of Shelyn she specialized in the glaive and is now a passable warrior.
