Less than 21 Days before med and my players kick of the Shattered Star.
First with a short intro scenario. I will add some small side quest and stuff as the campaign develops.

I have been woundering if I should award my players with Fame when completing side quest?

I thing, that sometimes with a new AP, that is good with some additional rules to make it work better.
I have never been a huge fan of the Dungeon crawl concept, and iknown that they are popular. But in this AP's concept is so old school, that is just brings a lot of good memories back, and i am a Fan of collecting complicated artifackts.

But i like to see a Ap i the world wound, with less dungeon crawl :-)

I need some info's regarding the scenario.
1. p19. Terisha has a holy symbol but to which deity?
2. The Ioun stone's the players get from sheila are they free or do the players have to pay the society back?
3. The skymetal what knowlegde skill can you use to get the information on the difrent metal types?

There are a long time to Febuary, and i need some help on the Empyreal lords in Magnimar.

Who were the angel of the Arvensoar? and does it play a roll in the the Shattered star ap??

Good Job Mister JJ and fellow co-workers at Paizo.
I have been a loyal support from the start and many of the Ap's i like, a few not that much.
I have never been a great fan of dungeon craw, but in this ap it does not matter, for i love the plot line. It's old school way relly speaks to me and the way you can twist things into your own design.
i am a big fan of Varisia and master the rise of runelords 5 years ago and it's currently running the new anniversary edition, and my old players love that there old char it's a part of the history in the new ap.
On another note i am stil player in the curse of the crimson throne, running in it's 3rd year and we are only on book 5. Maybe one of the best AP all time, with a fantastisk master.

Keep up the great work...

You'll have two options for campaign traits with this book... but neither will be IN the book.

Option 1: You can use the sample campaign traits from the Advanced Player's Guide. Those traits are custom-built for a campaign that starts in Sandpoint.

Option 2: I believe the plan is to have a free Rise of the Runelords player's guide that'll have a few more traits plus a short player-friendly gazetteer to Varisia in it.

Shelyn probably would have a shrine or temple somewhere in the city. She's the one goddess that pretty much every other member of the pantheon seems to get along with, and Lord Mayor Arvanxi seems to be dedicating quite a bit of money towards the promotion of art, which Shelyn in the patron of.

The Nightshade Theater is in Rego Aerum (Treasure sector) in Parego Regicona (that's the big island).

Not sure about the Vira Majestica or the church of Abadar.

The three islands in the westchannel, from south to north, are Lowpier, Midpier, and Highpier. The one in the east branch of the river is imaginatively named Eastpier. It looks to me like they serve as transit and transfer points for goods, but they can be for whatever the GM wants, I suppose.

Two big reasons:

1) Mammon hadn't yet been the "star" of an adventure that I know of.
2) (and this is the primary reason we chose him) Mammon is wealth, watchfulness, and avarice—he's Hell's treasurer! And those traits match up the best out of the 8 archdevils to associate with a bunch of greedy thieves.

He he James, we all like the new stars off the show, my favorit one you pulled out off the hat years ago. Kyuss from the the age off worms. Since my favorit are the plot and villians in Second Darkness.

I have the Eccardian, Chammandy and delour, but since i have only read the first scenario i dont no if the made more minitures.

It has been a loong time since a DM.
Last timed i had time to play was with the age of worms.
I was planning to use the Pathfinder rules for the players and let the them play the scap as it is.
Have any of you done it that way? and does it work?

Thursday I am starting my Age of Worms Campaign. I got 5 players and we are going to use the pathfinder Beta system.

In the grub there is:
Necros Apainon Therion - Halforc sorcerer.
Azazel - Half elf Rogue.
Sláine Mac Roth - Human Barbarian.
Moltar Dreal - Cleric of Wee Jas.
Winddus Appelnose - Halfling Ranger.

I will keep and update on how things go.

But we allsow use wis for Concentration a mental stat of mind :)

We have allways played with endurance as a skill, like good old 2nd ad&d. And removed die hard as a feat.

First off all i like the new cmb system, no more many rolls in a simple and action packt combat.

Under your trip + overrun in alpha 3.
You stat that a medium player cannot overrun or trip a medium player.. Why???
If it can be done in the real life and in the die hard kick a.. action movie why not in the fantasy game..

Dungeon goes out whit style becores off you... I like that map, and like many here on the board iam going to use it for a campain.
I have used many off your other maps in some senarios, but the lands of mystery is cool.
