Walks in and sees the new boards...and sees he's on a new team. He surveys the room, looking for his new teammates.

"I'm Malachai, but I reckon you can call me Mal." he says to Winnie, with a dip of his hat.

In a flash of speed, Malachai draws and fires at the guy on the roof...

Malachai notices the slightly swaying curtain, and puts his back to the side of the entrance, and pulls back the curtain looking in.

Malachai feels the step start to give way, and simply springs to the top of the landing, staying in pursuit.

Like she's still fleeing.

Unit Three on street

On the street ahead there was a scuffle between two scantily dressed females of humanish appearance, but the women ran off as soon as they saw someone coming towards them. A small child sits crying in the street, apparently abandoned.

"Stay with the child, I'll go after them!"

After all the smoke clears, Mal reloads as he slowly walks forward, surveying the carnage. He holsters his pistol, and kneels down to look at one of the kobolds that had been foaming at the mouth. He looks him over to see if he can find the source of the odd behavior.

Takes aim at two more kobolds, looking for injured.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 to hit for 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 to an injured kobold
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14 to hit for 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 also to an injured kobold, unless there aren't anymore, then to a fresh one.

The one he crit fer a total of 33

Malachai takes aim at another 2 kobolds, the first of which is wounded from last time

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 for 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 damage.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 for 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 damage.

Spins his pistol around and tries to hit the kobold running to get to Ignot.

Attack of opportunity
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 damage, if it hits.
Also, free action to knock prone if it hits vs CMD 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Yeah...Malachai has a +11 initiative and a class feature of his is that he can draw as part of an intitiative roll as long as he has at least 1 grit. I think we're ok to hand wave this for most combats unless it works for you to roll for such for tension if you want it Lynora.
