WHAT?!

Liz is a truly special person and she will be missed here. (Even by those of us who aren't "there.")

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

Will I ever catch up? Still -- YAY!

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

Pathfinder Academy sounds brilliant! Bravo!

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

Thanks, Vic!

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

It'd be nice if the Big Finish people checked the Paizo boards.

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

What is going on with Big Finish and this subscription? Is there still no word on what's coming next? It seems like a long time to go without news. If it is going to be a while before a new series, I wish they'd go back and offer Rise of the Runelords to their subscribers for the next six months and give themselves time to get ahead on the next Adventure Path they are going to Legendize.

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

Yay! This is still my favorite AP.

Paris Crenshaw, you say? Elemental, you say?

I'd rather chat on gaming.

Anyone have a good gaming story? I recently had an interesting one while test-driving a fighter build in 5e. The fighter is pretty dope in 5e.

My character, a pseudo-Viking named Pereg was equipped with a greatsword. I and several other characters were being swarmed by zombies. While the wizard and the rogue were busy trying their best to become zombie chow, Pereg was rolling crits left and right and ended up taking out pretty much the entire encounter on his own. Score one for basic character creation!

Apparently I'll never have my after-victory session of Princes of the Apocalypse.

Spoiler:
Of course, I have nothing to complain about. The DM broke my daughter's heart. She should be the one complaining.

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

Yeah, I'm more and more decided that I can live with the ebooks, but those two looks like hard purchases.

And howdy, everybody. Nice to be missed. Speaking of, what did I miss?

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

Katina: Please also cancel my AP sub effective with the last volume I received, #102. I'll come back and resubscribe online once Hell's Vengeance is over. Thanks!

I tried sharing this post on Halloween, but something apparently happened to it. The Badger celebrated his third anniversary statting monsters for Mythopoeic Rambling by offering these:

Frightful monsters for your PF game.

Thanks, Mike! I hope everyone enjoys them, and if you do, we'd both appreciate it if you spread the link around and help boost the signal.

But you might not have spooky monsters that the players don't know from PF products to throw in and mess with them. Oh, I know!

I was informed that FAWTL is up to #5. I'm impressed. I'll be back in 6 or 7. Keep up the great work everyone!!

Carry on. Carry on.

Mike McArtor.

WHAT!?

Did I miss anything? I like seeing some of the new aliases. Carry the torch high.

Hey, one of them was actually quite nice!

The rest of was... Uh. They weren't bad, but they seemed... Bland? Sparkless?

I am used to not being picked into top five of anything, but if I am not in the finale I would like to lose to awesome competitors, not to "not bad".

Okay, let me know which one to go back and give a second look to. Maybe I was grumpy.

Congratulations, Jason! I've enjoyed reading Fortune's Fool, even though I haven't gotten to play it yet.

I heard that Erik Mona, through his superior negotiating skills, has gotten TOR to also bring back Planet Stories! Erik and Pierce will retain control over the series while TOR will bring greater distribution and deeper pockets for negotiating with authors, publishers retaining rights, and literary estates.

Maybe creating and spreading a rumor will make it happen.

I found a box at Hobby Lobby that works pretty well. Such a nice deck. Big improvement over the original.

Anyone yet read Buried Giant ?

Don't punish Freehold's spiritual development into a Humanist.

Joss Whedon is also a Humanist.

Snort! He doesn't have to be a Presbyterian humanist!

I love the new genetic research that shows that the British Isles belong genetically to the parts of Europe where there were large Celtic populations and that there is little appreciable range. Englishmen are not Saxons (sorry, Irish and Scottish ideologues). They're Celts who picked up a Germanic language. Latins, Germans, and Scandinavians pitched in their little bits, but the isles have remained British. But then, I'm proud to be parts of all the isles, even if I'm not always proud of what various people have done.

I wouldn't feel right about hosting a link to the compendium without Gene's permission. With it, I'd be happy to.

Hey, Orthos! What's shakin'?

My take away from the last couple of weeks' reading: Jonathan Howard, Good. James Enge, Better.

Anchor, Kelsey? I've been enjoying Anchor Porter, lately. Prost!

I'm glad to see old threads going strong.

Hey, how about this Tor thing?

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

Well, I'd be willing to run a 5e game. (Or maybe a PF Basic or S&WC game.) Thanks for asking for us!

Pathfinder Legends Subscriber; Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales Subscriber

Yeah, I really appreciate what you do with the PFS in San Antonio, Dragnmoon. I did actually have a fun time when I gave PFS a try, but it doesn't really hit the itch that I want to scratch: the kind of play experience that arises in a home game where you really get to explore certain characters, settings, etc. with the same people over time.

Thanks for the CoC invite. I'd love to give it a try, but you hit on the real issue: the drive to Cibolo. I have 1-3 more players from Atkins if I could meet them halfway, but even that has really proved to be too much. The demands of life are such that I need to have a game up here to fit into my packed life in terms of time.

Middle-aged academic dad and college-aged daughter looking to start or join a gaming group in Boerne, Texas. Two experienced players, one experienced DM/GM. Role-players, not roll players. Setting negotiable. Non-smokers with cats.

Preferably D&D 5th edition. Will also consider Pathfinder or Swords & Wizardry Complete.
