So do a lot of people, apparently. :)

(I never would have guessed that 'librarian porn' was a fetish until a few years ago. I was... surprised, to say the least.)

Especially considering that most librarians are (in my head) plump old ladies.
Not for me, I think of them as the hawt teacher types, hair pulled up, glasses... you get the picture.
In an ideal world, yes, I absolutely would love that... oh, this flawed world we live in! Why, WHY aren't all librarians hawties!??!?!

It all depends. How old are you?

For instance, THIS was how I remember my first librarian.

Yes please.

Hi MacBoyce, nice to see you here. I'm a very big supporter of the Legion of Super-Heroes. You may already know this but Valegrim and I have a Legion PBP that is going well and your always welcome to take a peak at it.

I can certainly understand your Mom only allowing one comic, mine was the same way until I could pay for it myself. My brother went for the Justice League, Batman, Superman comics and I picked Superboy starring the Legion of Super-Heroes issue #212, strictly based on the cover. One comic and I was hooked.

So who are you favorite characters and why?

Comic conventions are wonderful, the perfect place to find everything your looking for. I learned to watch the prices though. Some booths sell a comic in very good condition for 50 cents on up to a couple of bucks. The next booth might sell the same issue for 5-10 dollars. Hope you find what your looking for.

Keep in mind I've only read Legion of 3 Worlds and am recollecting my Legionnares comics.

But I'd have to say probably either Lightning Lad or Brainac 5. Just for the wonderful wordplay and humor.

Don't forget all 7 power rings, the Ultimate Nullifier and Batman's utility belt for the "Anti-Shark Bat Repellant Spray".

big, big legionnaires fan here. I really liked the clones, they served as a perfect jumping on point for a young reader. I still miss Dragonmage, the Legion comics and dc fanbase are very hard on new characters.

I'm in the midst of recollecting them. I have 1-3 right now and am awaiting on my local con to go find more. Between Legionnares and the Invaders comics, I have a good convention planned.

okay out of curiosity what is the classic JRPG trap?

Spoiler:
One of the characters is the princess, main guy is an emotional loner (ie cranky all the time), you have a child who's a badass (good explanation why though). I've just seen this in JRPG's before. Not saying it's a bad thing.

I've heard terrible things about this game, that the plot is one dimensional and that the voice acting is terrible, but I haven't had a chance to try it myself. Personally I'm longing for some great RPGs on the Wii, I'm gonna get Arc Rise Fantasia simply so that Nintendo will keep putting out RPGs, but my personal hope is for a new Fire Emblem.

Tales of Symphonia is allright, but the pokemon aspect is weak (I leveled up a monster to evolution which resets its abilities, and all it turned into was the same monster only red WTF and the strategy guide doesn't come with a pokedex type guide that lets you know what you're doing with the monsters and what they'll evolve into) Fire Emblem was great but had a disappointing support system (it was awesome that they made every character able to support any other character, but they did so by making the conversations the same no matter who you joined with, so you got a lot less character development than previous games) Oopona is too kiddie for me to try, and I enjoyed Zelda but prefer non-action RPGs.

From what you say (and it's nice to hear from someone who likes it) that the game is good, just a bit linear and it's funny that even someone who likes the game thinks you have to ignore the voice acting.

The voice acting is horrid. Some of the lines are funny (I think Nico is hilarious.), but most of the voice actors are off.

The game does fall into the classic JRPG trap, but I'm enjoying it and am having fun. That's all that matters.

If you have a Wii, I recommend this game. Just ignore the voice acting and you will be fine. I'm 25+ hours into it and I haven't even scratched the surface of what is here.

It's linear, so don't expect a "Bethseda type game" (Fallout or Elder Scrolls), but it reminds me of older Final Fantasies in a good way. The story is good, the RPG elements are good and the battle system is good.

I heard good things about Prototype, and just a little bad. RDR was pretty darn cool. They should make more video games set in the wild west.
Have you heard anything about Borderlands?
Borderlands is a GREAT multiplayer FPS. You work together and kill stuff. It kinda sucks playing the game by yourself though.
How is the single player stuff? I mainly tend to be a (very) casual gamer and do mostly single player stuff.

It's the same game either way, but in the single player mode, it tends to not ramp down the difficulty. If you are going to do a casual FPSRPG, I would recommend Fallout or something along those lines.
